What he built, wouldn't even fetch $150 at a flea market, let alone trying to mimic an $800 table. The wood he used wasn't even old growth lumber. Look at the growth rings--too wide. Then he over planned the lumber, taking away all the patina, if it had any to begin with. Genius!
The lumber he used, I burn. The lumber he should have used would have cost him $20. The base also sucks for most any primitive/industrial market.

Or have you used special treatment methods to get that "AUTHENTIC" barnwood look & feel .....I think you where going for the "Little house on the prairie" Genre
