Nothing can be done. To this one must get used to and understand that in the world of crypto you can rely only on your brain and of course on luck. And you need to know that you cannot go through the crypto path without losses.

it is difficult to establish what is a scam and will not but we must be more precise in choosing the bounty to be followed,
many things must be learned from the platform whether or not convincing by looking at the team that handles and clear or not the project to run
it all depends on the organizers if indeed from the beginning they have planned fraud then it is a scam

I am a newbie just trying to grow on this platform. Within a week of participating in altcoin bounties, 2 bounties I participated in have been reported as Scammers. I get a lot of reads on my articles and Social media pages. I cannot keep encouraging people to invest in these altcoins if they would eventually get scammed. How can new bounty hunters like myself differentiate between a genuine bounty and scammers bounty?
In order to differentiate between the good and bad bounties, you have to practice your "due diligence". If a bounty sounds too good to be true, it just may be. You must study the company thoroughly,  checking their track record if possible, reading their white paper and research any information you can find about the company's team and backround.
With the emergence of opportunities like bounty campaigns, which provide incentives for completing tasks, one must also expect to see the emergence of likely scammers. Go back and retrace your steps by reviewing all of the campaigns in which you feel you have been cheated. Read their whitepaper, check their site, look for any cracks in the sediments, any which may end up crumbling your trust a later time.

not just a senior already even beginners are sometimes also still fooled their scam. It is not easy to differentiate it is a scam or not. many ways already have done unless he possessed search for reference, research and analysis is indeed nice and can be worked on. but it was all not a guarantee to get away from the scam. It will only decrease the chances to meet a scam but the risk of scam persists.

You will do well to report any project you deem to be scam, especially if the signs are so obvious, you can do such on this platform to help others to make better judgement and to be more careful.

I myself don't know how to determine whether I'm scammed or not by this certain bounty. Hopefully the admin should also put additional precautions in which they will ban those scammed bounties before anything happens.

You should check all the information about the bounty, which team is behind them. What managers bounty there. Check social networks.

Because at this time very many projects are handled directly by the scammer itself (newbie / jr.member) but not all ratings I say really scam .. to minimize the project is a scam or not I always choose best project

I think the bounty manager should take a part of the responsability in any campaign they run. We started to see high profile bitcointalk members tagging some bounty managers who run scam ICO campaigns, but that shouldn't prevent bounty participants from doing their own research.

In fact, the fight against fraudulent projects is a complex and multifaceted task. But in any case, you just need to carefully study the project, its documentation and the authors.

ICO investors are faced with very limited information about the ICO.
It is really hard to tell whether it is a scam.
All we can do is checking the background of the team, read the whitepaper.

We cannot avoid those kind of bounties from fake ICOs, they are not going to adjust it for us and we are the one who will adjust ourselves in order to fit and find those good ICOs that have a good bounty projects here in forum. We can do that by not believing fast and doing a little bit of verification to know if there is something that we can do to filter them from legit to not.

No one really knows if it's scam or not. But there are several ways to reduce the risk of choosing bounty. This is a thorough study of the project; look at the attitude of the bounty manager; Or make bounty from the famous manager.

before joining bounty do not be tempted by unreasonable allocation, and select token / bitcoin that already escrow by bounty manager (if any) if not escrow maybe you can find references about bounty project that want to follow first maybe someone who do an investigation that the project is a scam from there you can distinguish it

This forum recently has a sub forum hunting for scam ico.. one of the username is marlboroza if im not wrong. He might helps us a lot to spot a scam bounty / ico.. just go search it
And we can at least take look at the website, roadmap and the team behind the ico. Scam ones usually use a fake team profile

Unfortunately, now it is extremely difficult. Most companies are scammers. And they have learned to work very competently. Therefore, in this case, we need luck
