What did you expect? At first you will come across a solid scamm, but with experience you will be able to more carefully select projects to participate. I can advise you to pay attention to the number of high-rank participants in the subscription campaign.

Only your own analysis, as a basis you can take the analysis of experts from different rating sites, or reviews on the project. The study of the white paper of the project will also help.

Talking about bounties - you can follow some bounty managers that check projects very carefully before managing them so this will be just a little chance to join any scam project. About ICO it is harder - you will need to figure all the things by yourself

Fake ICO bounty are from fake ICO itself. Bounty campaign is now very popular in crypto community and scammers or hacker get opportunity to run those fake ICO. So for me we need first to find if the ICO are real managed by real team. What I mean is to try determining the team in each ICO so scam bounty will be avoided. Also  not just fake even real campaign can't payb after because of not reaching even the soft cap. So better to pick carefully of those ICO with high chance of success and have investor at the back

There are alot of scam bounties one needs to be careful. I think its so hard to identify scam bounty unless you do your home work very well. I have joined so many bounty scam in the past and I don't know the one am doing now until the end of those bounty campaigns.

I am a newbie just trying to grow on this platform. Within a week of participating in altcoin bounties, 2 bounties I participated in have been reported as Scammers. I get a lot of reads on my articles and Social media pages. I cannot keep encouraging people to invest in these altcoins if they would eventually get scammed. How can new bounty hunters like myself differentiate between a genuine bounty and scammers bounty?

Its hard for me to determine which one has scamm or a guine bounty. So I just look for the bounty manager, If this was Sylon or yahoo. Base on my firends they're good manager which never had been experience to manage such a scam ICO.

I must admit that there are more scam bounties than legit ones in bitcointalk.
I don't know if we can do anything about it.
As far as I know, people investing in scams can't do anything at all.

You can participate in Bounties which are handling by trusted groups like Amazix group , Krypital Group and there are some others.

Try to read whitepaper of project before you join any bounty and check their team and partners.

To find a good bounty, take your time to read the project whitepaper thoroughly because that is where you know the idea and aim of the projects, study the roadmap, check the dev and management team and also the manager, after these, check the community on their social media platform to see how they are doing and take your time to do all this research, so not be in haste and be convinced that it is a good one before you participate in it.

You should be more care of the kind of bounties you participate in as a bounty hunter, because majority  of the ICOs out there now are scams and it has been a thing of great concern to the general public. Before participating in a bounty, try to see the kind of people that are behind it, or the managers, check for reviews on other social media platforms and check for how long the coin has been for. These should help in determining whether or not the ICO is scam.

You have done your bits in writing articles and blogs , but for an ICO to survive they need meet at least their softcap which if they don't they should return investors money.  Do well to follow some ICO review sites it works me.

You need to research into every project you promote, in order not to mislead ypu audience. This will help to protect your integrity. You do not need to shy away from joining bounties, you just need to increase your knowledge on how to identify genuine projects.

now it does look convincing for an original ICO or a fraud. you have to be careful, look at their whitepapers, and take if indeed the development team is very innovative and pay attention to the product for the future and needed, if the factor is met then the ICO is not a scam.

Look out for bounties that are being managed by managers who have made name for themselves, I'm not saying that theres no chance of any of their bounties being scam but it helps to filter out a lot of probable scam bounties since they do their research about the ICO before accepting to moderate their bounty. Then read the Whitepaper, you will be able to learn a lot. Don't make judgement from telegram group number, even a scam ICO can get as much as 50K followers by hosting airdrops so don't trust telegram entirely.

Yes a good way to differentiate ICO and a good scam is the amount of funds that have been raised in pre-sales. You know most ICOs do not post this info or do not have pre-sales. Think twice before you join make research about a bounty if it is false or legitimate.
