This definitely depends where you live in the world - you describe farming as a thing for poor people, however in large parts of Europe farmers have very deep pockets. While it is very hard work wherever you are, many countries are using technology now to take care of many hundreds of acres with just a handful of people every year. That is the next evolution that places like India will reach eventually, instead of the hyper intensive and sometimes subsistence level farming that can take place. Farmers do need support, but again it can vary very much on the region, they often need defense against big retailers who try to force them into very poor contracts and really squeeze them for profit.

I also think that there is not a single person who says that agriculture is not important and that every food farmer really needs to be paid attention to by the government. We can all see how even the most developed countries in the world still preserve their agriculture through existing land and also through the use of empty land to make it into important land for them. So it is not appropriate to say that this is not important as long as the income can still be used by everyone and can still be a good contribution to one's own country.

     Agriculture is very important in a country, because if the government neglects it, I am pretty sure many people in their jurisdiction will starve. Farmers help a lot in our agriculture, because it's number one in the economy, it can help a lot for every country to survive.

    That's why we should love farmers because if they don't have poor urban or rural people, we shouldn't discriminate against them, instead we should also appreciate them because they contribute a lot to our government.

We have a lot of soil to plant and yet we chooses to import agricultural products because our government choose to fool our own people about the shortage of products since they don’t support local farmers anymore.

We used to export rice and now we are one of the biggest importer of rice, i guess the issues are not just soil to plant but also the corrupt government officials, I wish there is still time to fix this.

Farming is very essential to the economy especially if one country is already known as an agricultural nation

The country I live in is a tropical one and is known for its environmental conditions that makes it really preferable for farming but is it our strongest sector? No. But it could be. We can use this sector to produce food for the masses not to mention almost the entire market is dependent on the price of rice so if we could produce high quality goods for lesser price everything else will follow.

We can also export food bringing in much profits for the farmers and the country itself.

Agriculture is the backbone of any nation but it's too underrated, those who do farming often stays poor and rather the big businesses which buys from them at the dirt cheap price and sell it across gets richer, there has to be a direct to customer link in order for farmers to have profitable business in return of the hardwork which goes in farming as it's not easy since lot of external factor plays role here and there are years when crops are not good, washed away in rain or just no rain at all or eaten by insects these are few challenges which they face and they are the most marginalized community doing the most important work without which people will starve.

But, recently I have seen some startups sourcing it directly from farmer to customer it's farm to table concept wherein the farmers get a good profit ratio. Government needs to launch more pro farming policies and incentivize it because I have seen farmers committing suicide due to the debt.

Farming is very important but with the new opportunities in cryptocurrency and other fields many young people would not be interested in going into farming when they can get engaged in tech, cryptocurrency and other opportunities in the digital space. This is also a reason why there is also a decline in the number of people delving into agriculture.

It will be difficult to shift the attention of the young people who are supposed to carry on agricultural practice from the new technology and opportunities in the digital space back to agricultural, but it is not impossible if the government can actually make the sector very attractive that it becomes hard to ignore.

Farming is one of the major source of revenue for so many countries all over the world. A government that fails to invest in agriculture should be ready to spend so much money buying food from his neighboring countries. Farming for long has provide food and live stocks for so many countries world wide and not just that, job opportunities are also made available.
For some reasons like historical war events that has polluted some countries land, they have no choice but to spend so much money importing food stocks which they know very well, that their land is incapable of producing.  Only an unreasonable individual will see farming as thing for the poor. Farming can be like and investment even to the rich as you may even see our your products to your government for a higher bid. In my country, farming is the main source of income during this hard economy but for so many reasons, a lot of farmers has seized to continue farming. These reasons include persistent terrorist attacks, kidnapping and so much more. But farming still contribute so much on the economic power of my country.

farming or agriculture is the most important thing anyone can think of because it is something we can not do without and there are various types of farming depending of which one the farmer decides to do. and as the population of people is increasing so is the consumption of food, whether we like it or not we have to look for a way, way to balance the production and the consumption the production have to be more.


farming should be among one of the most fastest way to make money and also the fastest way of making money, it is always on high demand and things that drive a good business is demand if there is less demand then it will affect the bushiness but when it comes to food it is always a high demand every time, so people have the mindset that is for poor people they are wrong and one of my dream business should be farming. and economy that deal with agriculture they flourish very well. and food is becoming a problem because we have less farmers in our society and that is why food is getting expensive.


There are banks of agriculture that actually grants people loan, some of thees farmers in my place will be granted the loan and they will not even use the money for the purpose of farming, there are advantages and disadvantages when it comes to granting loan for farmers. and a lot help comes from the government that i actually know of but some of them will still sell it farming has a lot of impact on the economy.

One of the ways in which we can boost our economy in a country is to engage everyone into farming, when hunger is taken away from poverty, then human problem is partly solved, most of the countries totally depends on the other for agricultural supplies of food and this make them tied down to their particular pattern of runny an economy, but when we take up the challenge and refused to be dependent in this aspect, there will not be too much dependencies on imported food items, instead, we are also going to be giving out to other countries after which we already have more than enough to eat and use within. 

We all know that it is really important to everyone. Farming is really to provide and give us food whenever we need it. I'm really saddened by the people who are affected by that and are being taken advantage of by the government. I hope that those people who take advantage turn around and actually help the people. We all know that it's an essential component of the economy.

There should be things like programs that are able to help those in need and that deserve it.

For things like this, it would be better and more accurate to look at it globally because if you only look at one country or in your own country, I don't think that would be accurate enough to say. Because where I live now there are still many rich people who want to farm and still pay dozens of people to take care of all the land they own in order to increase their agricultural income. So things like this must also be highlighted through the thoughts of the community itself because those who are aware of the importance of food for life and the economy will definitely not ignore any land they currently have.

The government already does this every year through the existing budget, so I don't think the community themselves need to complain about anything as long as they still have the intention to develop land and generate income through their own agriculture. Because it is not only important for poor people, but currently there are still more rich people who care about it without waiting for loans from the government and cheap fertilizer from the government. Although it could also be more useful for all poor people in building enthusiasm to continue farming on their own land.

Farming is an essential part of any society's economy, and I appreciate that it can also help us by keeping prices of goods stable and affordable. The government can also assist us in supporting our farmers by giving them the resources they need, including farmland and tools, even if that means sending them to school to further their knowledge of agriculture and providing fertilizer for farming. Furthermore, agriculture is greatly impacted by climate change globally, and farming can also aid in lowering the high rates of hunger and poverty in our society, particularly given the state of the economy, people will not find it difficult in eating again, the only problem is that, we won't prepare the food as we wanted but we still eat, " half bread is better than none" like they said. So it's better to go to our farm, take what   we have planted and process it to food.

Look, nobody can deny the role of farming into the economy of a country. Farming has always been the backbone of a country and countries who don't have enough resources for farming import a lot and their major budget is spent on that. I don't completely agree with your opinion of farming as a poor man thing. I think due to developed technologies people now don't need to work that Hard like our ancestors used to do.

Technologies like every other sector have also revolinised farming and there are many ways to reduce labour effort. The governments should supply or give discounts on the tools used in modern farming and reduce the amount of efforts of a farmer this will improve the view of farming.

Agriculture is the lifeblood of a country because agriculture is considered quite important as one of the needs that must be met. Now agriculture is considered to be the work of the poor, even though in developed countries agriculture is carried out by people with educated status. The difference is that they no longer farm using traditional methods because they are assisted by machines with easier and better levels of effectiveness.

Agriculture often helps a country's economy and if a country is strong in agriculture then that country is economically strong. Because they can export agricultural products to countries that need them and the results can increase state income.

Apart from that, farmers can also gain prosperity from the harvest they get so that individual economic growth is more vibrant. When people prosper financially, the country will become stronger because society is no longer completely dependent on the government. That's why agriculture can help society and the country as a whole because when agriculture becomes an important aspect, agriculture can contribute income to both individual people and the country.

farming is quite important for the economy in countries that can implement it. by having an advanced and developing farming industry, it will become a resource for countries to be able to maintain the stability of their country. because food security is very important for a country, to ensure that citizens have their needs met and that there is no increase in food prices due to food shortages. that's why several countries are currently desperately developing their food industry, because it is very important for their country's economy and stability.

You know, education is what mostly they need. It is also considered as a weapon that we can use especially nowadays where knowledge is everything. This is to avoid being taken advantage of by other businessmen who only think of making a profit without taking into consideration that the farmers will also need to get a profit for their next farming and also to provide for their other needs.

Most businessmen are the reason why most of the farmers decide to quit farming and find some other ways to make a decent profit. Some kind of work where they don't need to put in the same effort as they do in farming, but the pay rate is higher.

If only the government gives more attention to the farmers, helping them with their needs and guiding them so they will never be taken advantage of by businessmen anymore.

I think but I can't remember well again probably yesterday or there about I saw a flashed News on my social media platforms that the company that was producing Red Oil from Palm Trees is coming back to Nigeria from UK to restart the production. They were producing in enough commodity in the colonial era. Africa is blessed with natural resource abundantly but our leaders are blinded that they don't see those things except Crude Oil.

It agriculture that increases a country GDP to a very high rate and with agriculture cost of living reduce and the inflation is very high because there is no solid Agricultural revolution in the land. It is not that the individual are not ready to invest in agriculture but the government has not created the enabling environment for them to plant or cultivate. In Nigeria, Boko Haram and Herdsmen plus Bandit are killing Farmers like fowls so those who like to farm are also afraid. And that is why the inflation I very high in the land.

Farming has being what our ancestors used to survive and grow their economy. As long as man must eat to survive, then farming is as important like the air that we breath. This is because no man can survive without food.

A lot of produce are gotten from agriculture and it is not only food. We have raw materials that we use for building and construction, raw materials that industries turn to finish goods. If a nation can just stay focus on agriculture, and use the current technology for farming to make it easy and to yield a high output, you will see that nation economy will be balanced. This is because everyone needs food to survive.
