Wow, zebra btc and weekendbtc have all lowered their prizes!!

Not just them ... many have with the rise in the value of the BTC.
It's not unusual.

Low BTC $ value = higher payouts
High BTC $ value = lower payouts

Yes, and it is easy to explain: Faucet owners, to keep faucets filled, earn money mostly from AdSense - this service pay in fiat. So every time when Bitcoin price rises, faucets rewards is going down.

There was time when faucet reward was 5 BTC !!!  Grin

Maybe will come time when 1000 satoshi will be worth $1000 Wink

That would really be fantastic, but I would be a little more modest-let's say 1000 Satoshi valid only $ 10 one day, most faucet users would be rich Cheesy

And then all of as we can call Early Adopters. Can you imagine - Early Faucet Users meeting - Bora Bora 2020 Cheesy Then I would go back to bitcointalk, quoted several persons.. and ask them how they feel now.. Grin

Faucets do work well for me.
Only we should be selective and keep an eye on the new releases.
Otherwise, its waste of time for sure.

It's all pointless. You will waste a ton of time on faucets and earn almost nothing.
exactly, better buy bitcoin for 1$... 10$... it will be much more reasonable than wasting time with faucets

Just remember that $10 could get you mcdonalds..

Its free money regardless.. you can pay for something on ebay and make it useful.

I've tried to gain substantial amounts of BTC from endless faucets but havent had any luck thus far...are they're any good ones out there to make a fast come up or is it all pointless?

Sorry if this is in the wrong place, Im new!

Well a lot of people will say faucet were time wasting and pointless but if you want to earn much faster, you can try using rotators or any faucet lists out there. Just on this section alone, you'll see good rotators with high paying faucets Smiley

Faucets are to promote coins. On Bitcointalk Bitcoin don't have to be promoted because everyone know him and here is tones of faucets with BTC. Some altcoin faucets many times give more earnings because developers want promote them and bring new users.. When you claim Alts, but you want only Bitcoin - then you can easly exchange them for BTC - for example here: www.bittrex.com

I don't know many faucets because long time i don't use them, but I remember this three and i check that still are paying:

Litecoin - www.litecoinme.ga
Dogecoin - www.anchordoge.tk
DASH - www.dashfaucet.tk

I have already done that!

I asked, how can you enroll (be accepted into a signature campaign)?
Here is an overview of signature campaigns: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/overview-of-bitcointalk-signature-ad-campaigns-last-update-01-jan-23-615953
Choose one you like, go to their thread, and they will instructions on what you need to do. You usually need to first add their sig, then enroll with a post that usually has info such as username, posts, rank, and activity. Make sure you read the OP of those threads to get full information.

For some reason I can only post here, and nowhere else?

Is that because I'm still a newbie?
No.. You should be able to post elsewhere. Try responding to another thread or create one in meta.

How worse is epay compared to faucetbox?

Faucetbox is the largest micropayment cache online, there are hundreds of Faucetbox based sites - ePay had a few popular ones, but essentially it's just a payment system designed by the owners of Spin-And-Win (Starsbit etc) when Microwallet folded. There's a few faucets out on ePay, but I don't think it's really comparable.

Faucetbox is the prodigal son.
