Because of fiat money everything I can buy unlike crypto only select stores accept it. And even though I invest a lot of crypto, especially bitcoin, eventually I still exchange it for fiat money.
Thus adoption is needed, acceptance and awareness.

It's hard to love one thing when both crypto and fiat have their advantages. But the idea of a co-author of Bitcoin, who said that stablecoins have a great future, is close to me. Now if you look at Europe, then their version of the digital euro issued from the central bank will combine both pluses - a single currency for different countries, and technically digital. I think that we are still not in position to choose between fiat or cryptocurrencies. Because of the way that world and our economies are functioning we are still forced to use fiat currencies no matter if we like it or not.
Also, cryptocurrencies are too volatile to rely only on them so on this level of development use of fiat currencies is still necessary and I don't think this will not change any time soon.

Both are needed, fiat currency that represents the economic growth of a country as an official medium of exchange, as long as a country could manage their economic, then it's good for citizens to have a stable currency. On the other hand, cryptocurrency such as bitcoin and altcoins aren't really stable and nothing backed behind it which slowly growing and worth due to proof of works that needed so much resource, in short; mining cost. So, we don't need to pick one and abandon another, just use both it.
Both my cryptocurrency life i always choice crypto for making some profits everyday but fiat more important for everyone. We don't have a choice here, at least many of us don't have that luxury to choose. We are forced to use fiat, nobody ask us do we wish to pay in fiat or crypto, we know that stores accept only fiat. remember using a credit card for the long term is not good because indirectly we are given a loan and can make us owe the bank.

I will choose crypto every day but that doesn't mean i detest fiat because fiat currency carries the symbol of the nation and every patriot must respect that.
With that been said, i think the problem now is that some crypto enthusiasts actually misunderstood Satoshi's vision cause we need both fiat and crypto to survive in this world.

I chose both fiat and crypto.. I chose fiat because I needed it to pay for my various daily needs, for example buying drinks, paying taxi drivers, etc.. and I chose crypto because I needed it as a short-term investment and as my payment on the internet. As simple as that. I did not choose only one side, because both are equally important to me.
