I was too late to catch the 158.5. That must be an easier win. I was only able to bet on 145.5. Kind of risky, I hope I made the right decision. Three quarters are almost through and the total score is not yet 100.

Any tips on other matches? Montenegro is trying to give Brazil a hell of a fight.

My bet there was on the OVER and I expect high scoring in the 2. half as well. Also, Turkey started bad but they should win vs CZE, so if you can find nice odds, take em!

The betting odds does not always say the outcome of the game, who knows, maybe Japan will be able to give Japan a challenge and might come up with an upset which is unlikely, but losing in single digit is still possible.

Just like Greece, USA is also hype because they are compose of NBA players, so sometimes that line for them is just overvalued.
But for me, I'm not betting on this game, I'll just watch it because it's hard to predict based on the line provided.

Indeed. I highly doubt Japan can do anything to beat USA. Aside from the race advantage which is obviously given, the numbers between them have a significant gap. Though Japan's FG percentage was higher than USA by 5%, I think it wssn't enough because their points came only from few lead by Hachimura compared to a well balanced USA where point contributions are scattered. While in the contrary, USA got higher point average than Japan which prove us that they are a real scoring machine. I'm not concluding they will lose to their upcoming match but they should make an extra effort in order to win like what Brazil did to an overrated Greece Grin

Statistically, yes the match between USA vs Japan surely will consider as a bonus round for USA to the point that sports bookies give that kind of handicap line. Might be a trap for some bettors out there but since some upsets happened recently, chances that Japan can cover it is possible. But for me, I will refrain from putting money here.

This world cup till now has been full of surprises. There were some really close matches (especially the United States vs Turkey match), and quite a few upsets (such as the win by Brazil against Greece). Those who made bets in favor of the smaller teams got good returns. Anyway, here is my prediction for today's matches:

1. Canada vs Senegal: Canada
2. Brazil vs Montenegro: Brazil
3. Turkey vs CzR: Turkey
4. Germany vs Jordan: Germany
5. Lithuania vs Australia: Lithuania

IMO, for today, the chance of upset is from the NZ vs Greece match. If that happens, then Greece will be out of the world cup.

You're absolutely right about the Greece not really good as the Serbian but if you check the team ranking you shouldn't be surprise about the Serbian performance because they are actually rated 4th in the world base on the team previous capacity.

One interesting thing - after group stage in next round we won't see any teams from Africa and Asia. Even China, who had weakest possible group, support home crowd and obvious help of referees end their journey after group stage.
On Thursday we will see few do or die games - Greece - New Zealand and Turkey - Czech Republic. Turkey and Greece are obvious favorites, but their opponents is very dangerous.
And matches for 1 st place in the group - Canada - Lithuania. According to bookmakers, we're favorites, but IMO it's 50/50 game. And France - Dominican Republic. With all respect to Dominican Rep., it should be easy for France.
