Just bought some more Fibre a few days ago! About 3k Fibre now... Not quite enought to become a member.
First I was bummed at the low price... then looked at it as a great opportunity to buy more. Im holding this for the long term!

You don`t have to leave your wallet always on , you can turn it on from time to time to collect the stake
Oh and yes, I just noticed contradictory statements on http://www.fibrecoin.com/:
"FibreBoard is a(n) advisory board consisting of thirty community members."
but then
"The FibreBoard will be made up of 20 community member(s) that have more than 10,000 Fibre."
Do we have 20 or 30 members on the board?

You just noticed something that should be fixed already
the requirement for Fibre Board was changed to 4000 Fibre and the goal is to have 20 members on boardWe have about 15 members now

Just a newb question. I have a large stack of Fibre on my secondary machine, which is mostly off-line all the time. Does staking work on off-line wallets? Should my Fibre be in an on-line wallet to contribute to the network?

Hey,
After coins reside in your wallet for 12 hours they are starting to stake
Staking helps the network , Staking interest rate 5% a year but you are getting small chunks of it daily
You don`t have to leave your wallet always on , you can turn it on from time to time to collect the stake
By the way to all of you guys keeping your fibre on the exchanges, you are missing out on staking, it come in bits but they all add up. if you believe that price of Fibre will rise dramatically (which it will), those coins you gain from staking now will be worth quite a bit it will also make the network more secure amongst other things. So lets stake more please

The latest shift for the FibreCoin Multipool paid out over 225 FIBRE.
Still need more mining support on this pool. The slower speeds cause larger fluctuations in profitability.

There was just 1gh/s+ on the X11 so I enabled more profitable coins... but it's gone now... so will have to turn them off again...
