Fibre should add a way to send coins by alias for example to send to me all you would have to do is type in @mrcashking in the wallet and send. Of course the alias would have to be registered to a fibre address first. sort of like what Boolberry has. so anytime some one ask for my Fibre address I can just say Fibre: @mrcashking instead of giving them the long address.  Just an idea that I thought was neat. Im not a coder so I don't know how hard something like that would be to implement. But it could tie in good with fiberconnect and also the OS.

I was just reading back and found this idea interesting.

Anything ever come from it?

Thanks for bringing this back, it is probably already on the list but will make sure it is Smiley

  • At equal fiat price, half the supply means twice the value.
  • At equal supply, a coin priced at 1 mBTC can grow 1,000 times respective to BTC.

So I use 2 ratios that show growth potential of a coin relative to BTC :

  • Potential Growth_actual = PGa = (BTC supply / coin supply)         /  [coin price in BTC]
  • Potential Growth_total   = PGt  = ( 21 million / max coin supply)  /  [coin price in BTC]

The PGt for Litecoin for example is a mere 25 (@0.01BTC/LTC), while the PGt for FeatherCoin is still over 300 and Worldcoin could grow 3,000 times in order to reach BTC valuation.

With a PGa of 42,000 plus great innovation and solid developers, Fibre is a no-brainer investment...

There are still alot of X,Y and Z in the equation of any alt-coins. But I really like the rawness and basic truth in your post.

Thumbs up!  Smiley

The latest shift for the FibreCoin Multipool paid out over 265 FIBRE.

Still need more mining support on this pool. The slower speeds cause larger fluctuations in profitability. X11 has picked up some after the past 2 shifts which is good to see.

Suggested minimal rates SHA: 5Th/s+ SCRYPT: 200MH/s+ X11: 1GH/s+

Cheers!

I hope more miners start joining in!

I am quite surprised it is still above 10k now.

I read Spanish (very similar to Portuguese) and carefully checked this Portuguese message from laurlassource in Google Translate. It appears to be a classic "loan shark" email scam, complete with gmail address. It does not even mention Fiber or any other crypto, for that matter. Get out of here laurlassource...

i repeat, always update! even if you dev are waiting to launch a new wallet or a new integration.
anyone who starts now, go to the website and doesn't understand why there are two wallets and they don't work, i think this is the basic concept for usability, not everyone has a bitcointalk account and is able to find the right wallet

Yes, you are right , i will be accessing and updating the website by myself Smiley Killa is focusing on more important things

hi, what is the difference between downloading fibre wallet or fibredark wallet?

Thank you and happy thanksgiving!

Hey,

FibreDark (Fibre Tor Hybrid Network) - when using FibreDark wallet You are connecting to the main network through TOR to hide Your identity while connected. The wallet will automatically use TOR, that will make your ip address and location unknown on the network.

Together with Rev2 we released Hybrid wallet that allows you to switch between a normal connection and the Tor network all inside the wallet

10.10.2014 - Fibre Revision 2 Ninja Launched
