Yeah, if we check the statistics of this match, we can see that Brazil was much better offensively than Croatia. Players like Luca Modric, Ivan Perisic,brozocic, and kovacic these guy are legend and the Croatia people will be proud. Another country that has done well are the Morocco team, they have really done well, the fans won't forget their game that they beat Spain in a hurry.

Last night I had that very thought but I laughed it out and told myself that I joke too much but I am surprised that I have seen someone else who has similar thoughts and I can say that there are two Jokers in the world myself and you. I was confident about Brazil too, after 2 victories in group stage they lost to Cameroon but playing with all substitutes, it's ok.
on Round 16 they played their best, 4 x 1 agaisnt South Korea who were playing well.

But against Croatia Brazil did not play like they are playing, this is something that happens to Brazil everytime, one or two players playing bad it's ok, but looks like all 11 players suddenly are in a bad day.
Croatia did not played so well to deserve the victory, but they hold 0x0 and they did something heroic with the counter atack after suffering the goal of Neymar.
Few teams would have their strength to keep playing.

I don't know what to think about Croatia vs Argentina, maybe this time Croatia can be the champion

I am feeling for Morocco, I am in doubt if goolless draw will favor them this time they might have the chance to try their luck in Penalty shoot out. Portugal has a wild attacking force, one good enough to break any strong defense. Morocco might say goodbye to Qatar after today, France and England will be fun to watch. Both teams are in good form with world-class players. Over 2.5 for England vs France is a good odd. It will be a very competitive game for both teams.

I also hope that Morocco will show good football today... But I still think Portugal will win this game, although judging from yesterday's games here we should definitely expect surprises... I also wonder how France will do against England... Hopefully there won't be a penalty shootout as France is a faster and more attacking team... I probably will take a chance on their win with good odds 2.6...

Maybe Croatia wants to fulfil their ambition to become champions, because in last year's world cup they lost to France in the grand final, in the match I saw they played very well, even after conceding in 6 minutes by Neymar they replied also in 16 minutes of extra time.
Luca Modric, who is even old, is still able to play nicely on the field, becoming the foundation of the Croatian children.
The surprising thing is that in this world cup, most teams, if they feel unable or hesitate to score goals, will have a strategy of staying until the end of the match and taking luck in penalty shootouts, like Morocco vs Spain, Croatia vs Brazil, and maybe Netherlands vs Argentina.

I am in support of this World Cup to belong to the underdogs and they have been doing wonderfully well apart from last night that Argentina refused to be eliminated but when we talk about underdog the only underdog am seeing at this stage is Morocco. We should not confuse Crotia to be an underdog. This is because Croatia was at the final at the last World Cup 2018, so it will be an error to call them an underdog because they have good experience of the World Cup and especially of penalty kick.

i hope for just as exciting 2 quarterfinals today as they were yesterday. since i'm always in favor of the supposed underdogs at big tournaments, i've been supporting croatia and morocco since the quarterfinals.
can well imagine today that mar again creates the surprise via a penalty shootout and maybe eliminated tonight then even with france the reigning world champion

Yes, we saw 2 dramatic matches yesterday but unfortunately Brazil is not lucky they must end the struggle through  penalty shootouts and it's really sad
The same thing in the Netherland vs Argentina match When Argentina believes to win with 2 goals but it hasn't ended Netherland has managed to equalize the score in the last 10 minutes fortunately luck on the Argentina side they managed to win through penalty shootouts.

It was really a tough game for Brazil and Croatia. The match was running at a fairly high tempo, even the two teams also did not hesitate to commit fouls in order to destroy their opponent's attacks. In my opinion, Brazil looks slightly better than Croatia but Croatia has a good mentality and confidence which they were able to equalize when they fell behind Brazil and in the end, they were able to win the game in the penalty shootout.

I think few people thought that it was Croatia that ended up going through to the semi-finals because Brazil does look more convincing than Croatia. But this is football, where there is often a surprise and anything can happen.

I don't know, but in my opinion the brazilian team was superior (in statistics and mainly in the roster of the team).
Everyone was confident that they would win against Croatia, because they only had Luka Modrić who is an excellent player and also dangerous.
