What a game that was yesterday. I was sure Brazil was going to win the game as Croatia. They had so many chances, 11 shots on target, whereas was Croatia had only 1 and of course they make that 1 shoot count and score the goal. Overall the game felt a bit unlucky for Brazil and it made me a bit sad to lose another big bet in the worldcup. Not sure if a team like Croatia who seems to be only winning in penalty shootout deserve to win the finals. In my opinion both France and Argentina are stronger than Croatia and should win against them. At least Argentina made it work in a way too close match, I was sweating a lot watching the overtime. There have been quite a few penalty shootouts in the last few games which make the outcome so much more risky, one bad shot can cost you the whole tournament. As for today I think France is going to pull through, but it might go into overtime again. Also Portugal is going to win against Morocco. Then France and Argentina should win the semi finals and meet in finals where hopefully France is going to win so I don't lose another bet.

Croatia goalkeeper Livakovic made the biggest break in this world cup so far. It is very likely that we will see it in the big teams of Europe during the interim transfer period. Brazil took a big hit in this match. When Neymar scored a goal for Brazil at 105+1' Brazil gained some confidence that they would win. But 117' Croatia scored a goal and the direction of the game changed. And Brazil lost to Croatia after brazilian player missed a penalty. It is a sad event for Brazil. The same was about to happen to Argentina but they survived the trip as they did well on penalties. Argentina will face Croatia in the semi-finals

Yes, the two matches took a lot of mentality where 2 matches in the quarter-finals had to be resolved via penalties. Croatia was the most impressive they could beat Brazil even though they could have lost because in the first extra half Brazil could seize a bigger chance with Neyamar's goal in 105+ minutes, but Croatia could equalize 3 minutes before the game really ended.

Portugal are favorites to win this match because the Portugal side has quality players and a well experienced technical team. There was nothing shameful in losing a match on penalties. The Netherlands team deserve praise and respect for that spectacular performance against one of the best teams in the world. Penalty shootouts are solely based on luck and not expertise or skills. Sometimes the goalkeepers guess which way to go and if the striker is unlucky his strike might be directed to the direction the goalkeeper decides to dive.

People also said the same thing in the Brazil Vs Croatia match, the majority of people preferred Brazil to Croatia, but the facts said differently, Croatia was able to win against Brazil even though it came from the penalty kick phase.

In all the world cup tournaments I have witnessed in all my life, the 2022 Qatar world cup has been the most fascinating of them all .
