Japan has the chance but they became less patient on second half after they get their first goal unlike there start that they are very cautious and making less error or goal attempt. They fight Croatia toe to toe despite they had the lead even though they are so weak individually on 1 on 1. There forward is always can’t attack on 1v1 while Croatia can always penetrate their defense easily. They just become more defensive when Croatia scored and tie the match.

Japan is weak when it comes to a blow by blow match because their players is inferior to Croatia. But their team work is superb which they should stick until the end. The penalty kick for tie breaker only show how dominant Croatia in terms of individual skills.

It's very hard for morocco to face spain. Spain has no impressive performance during the group qualified but im sure that spain will be going all in against morocco. Morocco itself must be careful with spain as it can lose with lots of goals against spain.

The games today will be like the games yesterday where the big teams expected to win will not disappoint. They know the importance of getting to the quarter finals and will not want to take it easy on the lower ranked teams. I think there will be goals before the first half ends in the Spain game, but Spain will win, Portugal will win too, but not as easily as Spain will. I don't think Croatia was lucky in the match with Japan. Both teams played well and had chances to score winning goals but they couldn't and had to find a winner in penalty. At penalty spot, Croatia simply have more experience than Japan so they won.

Brazil totally controlled that match and they even can win it with a tennis result if their players have more accuracy in finishing. The only goal for South Korea is fantastic and scored outside of the box. That shot is too powerful and Brazilian goalkeeper with limited eye view in that situation, could not make as save.

It is a good goodbye from South Korea in World Cup 2022. They had a first match in Round of 16 after 20 years since World Cup 2002 in their country.

Croatia was lucky enough when it was against japan but that would be different when croatia will be facing brazil. Brazil has so many stars that can destroy croatia anytime. Brazil has neymar that is playing now. that will become a disaster for modric and friends to face brazil.
