Don't underestimate Croatia. I know that Brazil is a favorite in the quarters, but Croatia usually plays it's best games against stronger teams. The problem is that Croatia played 120 minutes plus penalties and Brazil played pretty easy against South Korea. Additionally, Croatia played all four games with almost the same players and they must be tired. We will see but I really believe that Croatia can be a better opponent to Brazil than South Korea was yesterday.

meanwhile Croatia struggled a lot with Japan, they only won on penalties.
Now I can't figure out if Japan was very good (seeing where it arrived) or Croatia not at the top. I think it's the first solution, so yes I agree with you, it's better not to underestimate Croatia, it could give you a hard time.

I don't think that football will gain anything, if the teams playing in the QF stage all comes from UEFA and CONMEBOL. At least one team needs to be from the other federations, such as AFC, CAF and CONCACAF. Japan had the maximum chances, as their PQF match was against Croatia, and they were ahead by one goal during the half-time. But weak defense resulted in them conceding another goal and in the end their players just imploded during the shootout. Morocco has a tough task in hand. Spain is one of the tournament favorites.

The main reason for South Korea's defeat against Brazil was their poor strategy. Brazil is a strong team. And every player in their forward line is playing very well in this World Cup. South Korea should have played a completely defensive strategy in the first half to prevent Brazil's goal. But at the beginning of the match, the players of South Korea did not play defensively. South Korea left their defense unguarded. As a result, the Brazilian players were able to break the defense of South Korea very easily. It was really unlikely that South Korea can do anything to stop Brazil from winning yesterday's game. The difference in quality is simply too big. Yes, South Korea had few chances, but even if they managed to score 3 or 4 goals, I believe that Brazil would have manage to score more. There is nothing South Korea could have done yesterday to win the game.

Morocco cannot be completely underestimated because they demonstrate their strength in their group stage matches, as they are a team that no one expected to qualify and did so by topping their group with seven points more than Croatia, Belgium, and Canada.
