It's not unwise to underrate Croatia, all that I see with them thus far is that they are being lucky. The country's team tried in their own little way too, but how I wish they had met Netherlands, Brazil or France, you would have known the supremacy here. Also with Japan, they would not have won if not for the penalty, and we all know that penalty is not a respecter of how good you are.

Well done team Japan, you have been so impressive in this world cup. After all, the team was defeated honourably with a penalty shootout that is a game of luck.

From the group stages till this  level of the World Cup Brazil has always riding on the smooth lane. The quality of team they are meeting are less than the quality of Brazil national team. As I speak with you I already see Brazil at the final of this year World Cup.
Even Argentina cannot stop Brazil. The big challenge Brazil would have faced would be if they were to meet France or England anywhere before the finals. Those samba boys are so hot to be held down.

Brazil have been known as champions in the world cup,they might be the one to carry this year world cup because I already see them win their next match against Croatia in the quarter finals,since Croatia won Japan with PK. Brazil dominated today's match against S.Korea as they scored all four goals in the first half.

I have predicted right and won my bet on this game tonight. The Koreans couldn't play that much but only tried to score a goal at the second half to end the match 4-1. This round of 16 is made for real men and the boys will finally go back home.

In the event that either of these teams don't get to face themselves, there are chances that, they just might. I can't consider Portugal to go beyond the quarter finals because, they've not been so good at there play.

It might seem like a very easy victory for Brazil but If you look at the statistics, what the Korean side did lack was the goals. They almost did equate Brazil based on statistics but, weren't able to create more goal chances neither did they converted the few they created.

They made far so much mistakes in the first half against a stronger Brazilian side with 4 goals and that is something you just can't find easy to come back from.

It was a very competitive game and an interesting experience to witness. I think this Croatian side have lots of experience when it comes to penalty shootouts, they have a record of winning three penalties they have played in the history of the world cup and they showed their class again today against Japan. I didn’t expect South Korea to defeat Brazil even if they won Portugal 10 nil because this Brazilian team is an all-star team and South Korea are no match for the five time world champions

In 2 more matches, we will find out that the seeded teams will advance to the quarter-finals, Spain and Portugal can qualify as we hope because they are the seeded teams, but don't forget that the world cup always has surprises for all of us, although I'm sure Spain and Portugal will qualify for the quarter-finals later

Brazil was very accurate in its game plan. As planned the execution happened even before Korean players got into the match. Brazil players gave the best and made consecutive goals in small time interval at the first half. In the second half of the match, the team slowed down and Korea gave its best and made a goal. This is completely expected outcome. Brazil fans are all around the world and Qatar had a big crowd for Brazil.

Brazil played a complete football in the first half and that was enough to secure the win. But we were expecting more goals in the second half but it didn't happen. Brazil gained tremendous confidence after the goal from the penalty, which quickly resulted in two more goals.

Brazil may not face France in the semifinals, Brazil's opponents in the semifinals will be Argentina or Netherlands. So you have to wait till the final to see that hope fulfilled.

Brazil had an easy victory against South Korea.
Tomorrow we will have the matches between Portugal and Spain, I even imagine, these teams will win quite easily and will advance to the quarterfinals.

Well, I speculate that the teams, Brazil, France, (possibly Spain) and Argentina will go to the semifinals...

Croatia and Japan game was a treat to watch - but the match between South Korea and Brazil was a one sided match
Japan gave a tough competition to the Croatia but South korean lost the match in first 20 min.

Brazil fans are excited with a great wining against South Korea. Basically Brazil ended the game in 36 minutes with 4 goals. Then in this match, South Korea will come back, do something incredible, that even the most optimistic Korean fans in the world will not dare to say. Waiting to see how many goals Korea will score in the end. No one seems to be waiting to know the result of the match. Opponent South Korea managed to score 1 goal in the 2nd half. Brazil won the match 4-1. Pele made the post on Facebook approximately three hours before the Brazil-South Korea match. Reminiscing about his first World Cup, the legend said that he will watch the match from the hospital and i think this match will be the great surprise for him.

It would be unwise to count Croatia out just yet. These matches showed that Japan and Korea play at different levels.
Korea was one of the lucky teams to advance out of its group and play in a knockout round. If not for an unfortunate last-minute events, Uruguay would have been playing today instead.

On the other hand, Japan showed that it is a team to be reckoned with by beating two former world champions—Germany and Spain. So, it's not out of the question to think that Croatia could make it to the semifinals.

It's sad but at the same time, it's also satisfying to see that they've come this far. Although Japan is out already, I'm sure that they're happy with the progress that they've got.
It's not expected that they'll go this far but still, it's one of the farthest achievements that they can get for now. Soon, they'll come back stronger and will beat more other teams which isn't expected by a normal football fan. They've done a lot and went far on this journey.

Even though they and their fans knew it would have been almost impossible for them to beat Brazil, they didn't expect it to be in this way, they were already on their way out of the tournament right from the first half of the match, and i am sure the players will feel they have disappointed their fans, which i think they did. It must be really painful to qualify from the group stage in the dramatic way they did, but get beaten this way only a few days later.

Brazil move on, Croatia are next in their sight, and i am sure Croatia would be worried after seeing what Brazil did tonight. I feel Brazil have the most complete team, especially in attack, i think they will beat Croatia easily and move on to the semi final. The best part of Brazil's victory today is the return of Neymar to the team, he is such a quality player and a delight to watch, i hope he does not get injured again, because it is great to watch him play.

Korea was really pained by the outcome of this match, its so beyond what they must have anticipated although, I don't think they saw themselves beating Brazil today but not by that scoreline, especially when all the Brazilian goals came in the first half. You could imagine what there expectation would have been in the second half but, they did put up a good fight afterwards and prevented further goals. The samba boys were entertaining today and they did put a lot of motivation from the Pele's condition of not responding to treatment.

Raphinha seemed so desperate to get on the score sheet today. So many shots on target but the Korean goalkeeper was just unto him all the times he came for his post. Its Brazil in the quarter final and its Korea out.

Brazil played very well in the first half but Korea was so good in the second half. Brazil did some mistakes also. Otherwise they would be able to increase the score board. Overall Brazil dominated in the full match. Congratulations Brazil for reaching quarter final.

Brazil were stronger in the qatar world cup where they already looked like the favorites to go further. Croatia is not a weak team, but when compared to Brazil, we already have the answer in our hearts. In fact, one of the strong factors that Brazil performed well was the performance of the players who had a winning mentality at the Qatar World Cup. Whether Brazil will tear Croatia to pieces of course it could happen but Croatia can break all these assumptions with all the effort they have to think beforehand. Neymar, Vinicius, Rodrygo and Richarlison were the players who had big problems for Croatia in the quarter-final match.

Neymar returned to perform well in this match after he recovered from injury Neymar immediately made a big contribution to the Brazilian team where he also scored one goal in the match.

One of the things that I liked the most about the game in Brazil is that when they scored another goal, all the players celebrated, in fact even the coach of Brazil himself celebrated it and that is an indication that the team is very united, because it doesn't matter Whoever scores the goal but everyone feels grateful, that's like a big family.

With all those real characteristics that I would not like to see or be in the Croatian team at the moment, for me Brazil will come out with everything to play and show much more, the players are very motivated, besides that Ney is already feeling well, That cheers everyone up.
