Portugal and uruguay game was entertaining to say the least the first half was tight not much goal chances but in the second half portugal team took the initiative early and scored the first goal unlucky for uruguay they couldn't equalize despite the chances they had and then portugal scored the second one with a penalty and secured the points, portugal is officially on the next stage and urugway team is in a tough spot they need to win the last game in order to qualify.
You are right please game is very entertaining and I believe that the people that watch the game enjoy the game but it is on the second half now the game really changed step, which invest have nobody things that one or the country will win with such figure but finally the match ended is 2: 0

Fernandes was really impressive today. He missed the chance to make a hat-trick there as his shot was saved by the goalkeeper. We must have all thought that Ronaldo scored the first goal but the cross directly found the back of the net. I assume Ronaldo would have taken that penalty if he wasn't subbed off before.

Portugal have guaranteed qualifying for next round but Uruguay are in a really troubling situation now. I don't feel like they will be able to make it. Because they need to win their last game but it is against Ghana. We have seen how good they are so far.

It was funny how Ronaldo was delighted as if he had scored the goal instead of Bruno Fernandes. Fifa first wrote the goal to Ronaldo, but then corrected it. We watched the replay over and over and I couldn't see a touch by him. I couldn't understand why Ronaldo was celebrated as if he scored the goal himself. Anyway as a result, Portugal found the goal they were looking for and managed to win a difficult match. It was expected of them to come out of such a relatively easy group. Uruguay still has a chance to get out of the group. If they beat Ghana they will probably go out because I don't think Portugal will lose. Even though I don't see Portugal as the title contenders, I wonder how far they will go. They have a good squad, but I doubt if it's enough to make it to the semi-finals. Because we saw much better teams in the tournament. I see Spain and Brazil far superior right now.
a lot of matches where the underdog team often loses the match, even if you say brazil and spain will qualify for the final I think they haven't met ronaldo et al with portugal, so don't assume that the brazil and spain game is the best, everyone gave their best game

Uruguay will be facing Ghana in their next match which is on December 2nd, it will really be a feice battle for both team since I don't think Ghana would want to loose that match, and Uruguay will want to win at all cost to enable them move to the next stage.
But in my personal prediction, I think that game might be the end for Uruguay since I don't think Ghana will be ready to give them any chance, but then, let's all see how it goes..
Ghana is in a better position than Uruguay to advance to the round of 16 of this world cup because Ghana has already earned three points, and whether they win or draw, it will be in their favor but what they have to avoid is loss. Uruguay, however, will likely focus on earning three points in order to advance to the round of sixteen. Portugal has already qualified for round 16 regardless of result, with their current point.

Next game now is between Netherlands and Qatar, who else feels that this match might be the last for Qatar in this 2022 world cup?
There is no way I see them winning Netherland except the shock of Argentina vs Saudi Arabia happens again.
My personal opinion though.

Qatar has already been eliminated, and I doubt that they have a national team capable of defeating the Netherlands. But let's wait and see what happens; while it's possible, Qatar might not be as fortunate as Saudi Arabia against Argentina.

B. Fernandes  is so desperate to score the third goal
He has made some good attempts too - but failed. The match is about to end. Job done for Portugal finally they have been able to win the match

Today was the day for B. Fernandes. His first goal was amazing. The second goal is from the penalty. But the attempts he made later were really great.

Feel bad for Uruguay. They had a bad day today and everything seemed to be going against them. Uruguay had some very close attacks, but in the end could not take the match in their favor by scoring. Uruguay will have many equations to think about if they are to advance to the next round. Let's see what Uruguay can do in the next match.

He has always been a desperate man trying to capitalize on every goal opportunity, he clearly knew he had no contact with the ball and trying to take credit for it didn't make sense, it was funny how he celebrated the goal. There was a similar situation with Harry Kane and Erickson some seasons ago, when Harry Kane tried to claim Erickson's goal to fuel his golden ball agenda and was furious when VAR awarded Erickson the goal. Having said that, Bruno has been fantastic for Portugal, and it's a shame he didn't get more credit.

The ball didn't really touch the head of Ronaldo but because of the the acceleration (speed) of the ball, Ronaldo slidely touch the ball and the ball entered the net. Most people are confused whether the ball was scored by Ronaldo or the player who shot the ball the corner area. But yes the ball was scored by Ronaldo because the ball touched his head, you can even clearly see how the ball entered. The ball entered from the right goal post while the keeper jumped to left side of the post.

lol, funny analysis, maybe you should go back and watch the goal incident, you'd see that Ronaldo had no contact with the ball, he only interfered with the GK's vision, which led to the goal, it was 100% Bruno's goal without a doubt.

The Brazil-Switzerland match ended as expected. Most people expected Brazil to win. Brazil has a good squad and is one of the favorites. The goal may have come late but I think they still have the potential to be better. Switzerland didn't have a shot on target throughout the match.
Portugal, on the other hand, managed to beat Uruguay 2-0 with Bruno Fernandes goals. They secured their place in the last 16 together with Brazil.

Portugal won 2-0 and two goals were created by Fernades and I don't mind who scored for Portugal but I want to see them win this game. I don't dismiss what you said, but I think Ronaldo performed well in this match, he was able to bother the Uruguayan defense several times. Indeed, in terms of age, Ronaldo is getting old, but his presence on the field is able to make other players perform better. This victory made Portugal's run in the Qatar Cup quite good because two matches ended in wins. Meanwhile, with this victory Portugal became the leader in Group H with a collection of 6 points followed by Ghana with 3 points.

Yes, overall Ronaldo performance is quite good he has done his best for his country and go to the next stage
In the upcoming match they will face Korea actually this match is not decisive for Portugal because they are certain to qualify
And I suspect Portugal will play it safe and avoid injury I wouldn't be surprised if it ended in a draw.

Portugal 1-0 Uruguay 61 minutes.

Ronaldo with the goal & who else would it be. Nothing stops this guy, you can’t keep a guy like Ronaldo down.
I have a feeling after everything that happened with Man Utd, he is more motivated than ever to show everybody who he is.

Still just under 30 minutes to go here but Cristiano is doing what he’s done his whole career.
The goal is awarded to Fernandes, not Ronaldo. Ronaldo hasn't proven himself as he is supposed to compare with other previous world cups he has performed in so far. I don't think Portugal is relying on their match win on Ronaldo again. The way Ronaldo has played thus far against Uruguay in this game is not promising. Ronaldo hasn't demonstrated himself in the way that one would expect given how well he has previously done at earlier world cups. I don't believe Portugal will once more depend on Ronaldo to win the match for them or other upcoming matches.

Ronaldo needs to relax after this world cup. His football career is suffering significantly from old age.

Well, I can't deny that CR7's performance is truly admirable, he gives confidence to the team, he's a good teammate, the day Diogo almost let the Ghanaian score a goal, CR7 had great words for him, he motivated him, he made him feel well, I think that's what you do in a team where you have a captain with a lot of experience like him, I think the Man United episode was already a thing of the past, I'm sure that now CR7 will continue to shine in Portugal, besides CR7 is not a bad person and good people deserve good things to happen to them.

On the other hand, I think that CR7 will continue to appear in the toughest moments for Portugal, going to the round of 16 is a great achievement, many good countries like Germany and Argentina have been in trouble, but France, Brazil, Portugal in two games, have been won by the two, I don't see a better scenario for these countries, we have to wait to see if they classify as first or second in each group.

And since in the world they always look for a way to tarnish things, they criticize:

Cristiano Ronaldo Blasted For Taking Credit For A Goal He Didn’t Even Score

Quote
Portugal scored a magnificent goal to go up 1-0 over Uruguay in their FIFA World Cup match. However, Cristiano Ronaldo is receiving some flack for it. After going up and whiffing on his header attempt, the legendary soccer star acted like he scored the goal. When in reality, his teammate Bruno Fernandes records the point scored.

Source: https://brobible.com/sports/article/cristiano-ronaldo-gets-blasted-for-goal/

I think that CR7 is very clear that he did not score the goal, only that the adrenaline made him celebrate, in his case I would have also celebrated that way, also CR7's jump made him confuse the goalkeeper and helped him not to chase the trajectory of the ball, just as there are many fans of CR7 there are many who hate him, it's normal.

It looks like it might improve in the second half hopefully he gets back on the scoresheet in this game.
The score now is 1 goal and I'm pretty sure Portugal will win again in this match even though the game is still quite long because it's only been 58 minutes.

I didn't think Portugal could win with a score of 2 - 0, even though they made it 1 - 0 very difficult. Even after Portugal won 1 - 0, Uruguay regularly continued to make attacks, in total there were 4 very dangerous attacks IMO and the one with the most potential to become a goal was when Luis Suarez was right in front of the Portugal goalkeeper, but he failed to convert the opportunity into a goal. Portugal first goal was scored by Bruno Fernandes and not Cristiano Ronaldo, and congratulations on winning your bet mate Wink.
I edited my review in this regard Cheesy
The goal was indeed a little confusing, especially seeing Ronaldo's contact, which seemed to touch the ball at that time, but indeed this has been legalized as Bruno's and he scored 2 goals and actually there were 2 more good opportunities in extra time but it was very unfortunate that it only hit the goalposts and could rejected by Rochet.
My 2 bets today ended with good wins from Brazil and Portugal and I'm pretty happy about this.

I'm curious, who will be the top scorer and get the golden boot at this year's world cup? Year 2018 Denis Cheryshev (Russia) and
Cristiano Ronaldo (Portugal) equally scored 4 goals. For this edition year I see Mbappe and Enner Valencia have both made 3 goals, next there is Bukayo saka from England and Messi 2 goals. It seems that there will still be a lot of changes because it is currently still in the group phase. Although later there are also those who fail because they have to go home.

It's still a long way off for now and there are still plenty of opportunities now to become just that.
The group phase must be put to good use and now Mbappe is trying to do that. It is possible that in the third match, he will still be able to score goals, even though in the match France actually has nothing to be burdensome because their position has already been confirmed to qualify now.
Currently Bruno from Portugal also scored 2 goals thanks to the Brace he scored in the match that just ended.

Same, I also don't think Portugal will win by a margin of 2, Bruno score in the 54th minute because Ronaldo service, indeed this man Ronaldo didn't touch the ball at all but his action made Sergio Rochet panic. Instead of give a cross-feeds, Bruno was lucky the ball to right in. I saw it when the goal occurred the ball moved it normally, there was no pressure from Ronaldo a head, I wondered why the decision was the score by Ronaldo not by Bruno, it turned out changed a few minutes later. You guys saw the penalty decision leading to the second goal?

IMO, it was very unfair. The defender did not intentionally touch the ball, heck, he didn't even have any idea where the ball was because he was on his way to the ground. How the hell is someone supposed to land on the grand softly minus putting out their hands?

I disagree with you to some extent. For me, the difference between a handball and not a handball is subtle but important. If his hand was already on the ground, then there's no penalty because there was no movement of hand to ball. However, if his hand was still in the air and the ball hits it, then it's a handball.

However, given the circumstances, I don't think a penalty should have been awarded in this situation. The referee made the correct decision initially, but was forced to change it once he received information from the VAR room. The referee, in this case, had no choice but to award a penalty. And it was obvious that he did it reluctantly.

I am glad that the goal was awarded to Fernandez. Personally I believe that Ronaldo is playing more as an influence to the younger players and I see that it is having a positive impact on the team. Clearly Portugal is the favourite team to win the world cup. On the other hand Uruguay played very well but the better team won. Hopefully in their next match, if they have a win they will move today next stage of the competition if not they go home.

But yes the ball was scored by Ronaldo because the ball touched his head, you can even clearly see how the ball entered. My main issue is the penalty. Uruguay player touched the ball in the penay area mistakenly, and even it was the ball that touched his hand. And VAR blew the fouls as penalty. I was not in support. But it was clear.
But even though the goal was counted for Bruno Fernandes and not Cristiano Ronaldo as i can see on every matches state website or even in sport bets, lol this made me think about the people who set bets that Ronaldo will score in this match and will be asking he casino to pay them even the goals wasn't counted for him. Betting is making many people's lives harder Xd.
For the penalty that once again B.Fernandes scored wasn't that clear. The Uruguayan player had no attention to touch the ball with his hands since he fell on his backside without even seeing the ball and the same time if the ball changed its way there must be a penalty as far as i remember football rules.
