I don't dismiss what you said, but I think Ronaldo performed well in this match, he was able to bother the Uruguayan defense several times. Indeed, in terms of age, Ronaldo is getting old, but his presence on the field is able to make other players perform better. This victory made Portugal's run in the Qatar Cup quite good because two matches ended in wins. The ball didn't really touch the head of Ronaldo but because of the the acceleration (speed) of the ball, Ronaldo slidely touch the ball and the ball entered the net. Most people are confused whether the ball was scored by Ronaldo or the player who shot the ball the corner area. But yes the ball was scored by Ronaldo because the ball touched his head, you can even clearly see how the ball entered. The ball entered from the right goal post while the keeper jumped to left side of the post.

My main issue is the penalty. Uruguay player touched the ball in the penay area mistakenly, and even it was the ball that touched his hand. And VAR blew the fouls as penalty. I was not in support. But it was clear hand ball but it was not a deliberate touch.

I didn't think Portugal could win with a score of 2 - 0, even though they made it 1 - 0 very difficult. Even after Portugal won 1 - 0, Uruguay regularly continued to make attacks, in total there were 4 very dangerous attacks IMO and the one with the most potential to become a goal was when Luis Suarez was right in front of the Portugal goalkeeper, but he failed to convert the opportunity into a goal. Portugal first goal was scored by Bruno Fernandes and not Cristiano Ronaldo, and congratulations on winning your bet mate Wink

It looks like VAR prefers Bruno in the goal this time but whoever it is is clear this is very good because indeed they are still 1 goal ahead.
On the other hand, it's interesting to see the match after this goal because it seems that Uruguay is now more intent on making breakthroughs and their initiation is very good, at least there were some very good opportunities shown after they fell behind even though there were still no goals created for them.
On the other hand now it looks like Portugal are more often holding back than initiating and this doesn't seem very effective in my opinion.

Meanwhile the game is becoming more interesting in the early 80 minutes of the game. The both sides throwing away big chances and having deadlock for goals. I'm really supporting a draw for Uruguay because they're doing their best to levelled the game. Let's see whst the outcome will be at end if the long run for the two sides.

Although everyone is appreciating Ronlado but the hit was accurate and the one who did it should be given due credit.
