Uruguay don't seem very comfortable against Portugal right now. So far in the game Portugal have been the better playing side. They have some goal attempts already but there is none on target yet. Portugal have been in control of the ball by a huge percentage like 74%. Scoring a goal before the end of the first half would be great for them after all this effort.

Portugal have the upper hand in this game for the quality of their players, but that doesn't mean they will beat Uruguay easily. As we know, Uruguay must avoid defeat as much as possible to still have the chance to qualify for the round of 16. At this moment, Uruguay has lost points in the first match by only drawing against South Korea, so if today they lose to Portugal, they may have to go home sooner.

For now Portugal is playing well and pressing Uruguay's defense well, but you haven't scored a goal. But anyway, no one needs to underestimate Uruguay in this match. They can also win if Portugal let their guard down.

Since the world cup started it is Brazil that's has good record in all their games, it shows that they can win the world cup. Uruguay vs Portugal will be another interesting match. The game might end in draws.

Yes they join France as the second team to qualify for the round of 16, the two of them are included in my favorite teams to win the world cup, so i am not surprised, the other favorites are Spain, Argentina and Portugal. If Portugal beat Uruguay today they will become the third team to have qualified for the round of 16. The others will have to wait until the final group game, and it is really going to be an interesting round of matches, especially in group B, E and F; i am expecting to see drama happen, and i am sure it will.
