That's the issue with Ghana right now. They came on the match with a mind set of getting a draw if they could manage it. There formation speaks loudly of it and so does there lack of courage. They aren't taking much of there chances of counter attack. I might just applaud Mohammed Kudus and Alidu Seidu to have trued to push forward in an attempt to attack.
They had a chance in a 4-5 Ghanaian players to a 3 Portuguese defenders from a lost ball by Joao Cancelo but still, they just ran up front and relented on an attack.
Them haven't conceived a penalty with Ronaldo haven't scored the goal, they came out a lot more to seek out an equaliser. They shouldn't have be holing back.

The game has already over, and Ghana has lost. They were defeated 3:2 by Portugal, a stronger team than them. We wouldn't say Ghana didn't give it their all in this game, but Portugal dominated in terms of possessions and shots on goal. They were the first African team to score a goal in this World Cup, but it wasn't enough to give them the victory. There is still hope for them, hope they play better in their next match to secure a win.

When Ronaldo scored the goal, i thought that was over for Ghana as it would be impossible for Ghana to score and level the match. But Ghana did manage to score and now the score is 1-1.

With under fifteen minutes to go in the match, we never know who will win this match. Ghana's score really created panic for those who bet on Portugal. We are having an exciting second half as first half did not produce any goals from any team.

The lead for Ghana did not last long. Andre from ghana leveled the score at 73 min of the game. As soon as he left the field, Feilx scored the 2nd goal for Portugal. The joy for Ghana did not last long as Rafael scored another goal from Portugal making the lead 3-1. Osman scored the 2nd goal for Ghana in the 89th minute but it was too late for Ghana.

Portugal did win the match but I must say that Ghana is one of the weakest African teams, showed some good potential, and give a good fight to the stong Portugal team.

It was a very impressive match that both Portugal and Ghana showed. Did you see that, when D. Costa made a very fatal mistake if the Ghanaian players could finish it well. Finally, after 100 minutes, Portugal left the field with a 3-2 victory. But there was a lot of drama towards the end. Portugal suffered a bit of a shock with Ronaldo making two more substitutions which resulted in them conceding another goal early on. This is how the game was leading by 3-2. But at the end, an incident could have turned around. Ghana are really playing a great game, irrespective of the penalty given that wasn't worth it obviously, and this situation of awarding Western teams favours against Africa countries teams in every world cup will persist if Africans don't rise up to protest against such chronic act.

Why on Earth did the referee refuse to go check VAR to really decipher what really happened but rather just awarded a penalty just like that. Only this act for me has made the WC boring and unequal preference.
