Vinicius Jnr have got his chances with the ball, meeting the goalkeeper severally and one man to have gotten the best chances in the game so far is Raphinha. His got some one on one chances with the goalkeeper but simply delivers the ball right into the goalkeepers hands. Don't know how he gets in those positions but, it ought to be someone else getting these balls.

Brazil is much better and should have scored just after the break, but the keeper got in the way. Sloppy defending from Serbia, but it is actually a miracle that they can keep the 0-0 for so long. I think it's only a matter of time before the 1-0 goes down for Brazil, it's still a pleasure to watch this team. Neymar is the big star of this team and maybe later of this tournament. I almost thought it was Portugal vs Ghana, but it wasn't. Portugal successfully beat Ghana with a 3-2 victory. The first half wasn't quite as convincing, but some really dangerous chances were created despite no goals being scored. 5 goals in that match came in the second half, and I almost believed the game would end in a draw but Portugal won in the end.

Portugal fate was not as bad as Argentina and Germany this week, at least they could breathe easy when the final minute whistle sounded.

I was really not impressed with Uruguay today. This team has the most efficient strike force in the World Cup. With Darwin Nunez, Luis Suarez, Cavani and also a strong midfield and defense.

Not much was done in the game but, Uruguay did manage it to land 2 balls on the cross bar. One came from Diego Godin just before the first half with a header while in the second half, Federico Valverde tried it with an out of the box shot. In terms of quality, in my opinion, the mentality of Ghana is inferior to the Portuguese players who incidentally are the top players in the top European leagues. But the two goals they managed to score against Portugal are proof that this assumption is completely inappropriate for Ghana in this match. Ghana did lose, but it was a better loss than what Costa Rica suffered last night.
