A 27 years old player leaving for free, dang that is rough. Pretty sure if he keep this up, he would be on radar for some top teams. They are right because Saudi Arabia's chances of winning this match are very slim as Argentina dominates the match. I somehow don't know how the 2 Arab goals happened in just a short time in the second half, and after that all the Saudi Arabian players couldn't control the ball and only lasted totally until the end of the match.

Even the statistics scored that Saudi Arabia only had 266 passes throughout the match or 2 times lower than Argentina's total bait which recorded 596 passes. Obviously this win is an opportunity for Saudi Arabia, but I believe they will lose their next 2 games against Mexico and Poland. But Argentina really has to get up to win the next 2 matches against Mexico and Poland. If Argentina failed, they would have to leave Qatar sooner than many had expected.

France also started badly in this match. 0-1 behind and if Australia had handled the space better it would also have become 0-2. It's just some wholesome surprise. Before hand although, I don't think this one game they lost redefines much of there quality, they still remains the fierced Argentina and capable of some real damage but, it was surprising to see the Saudi side win that game. The most Argentina could do is earn and score a penalty while, the Saudi side destroyed them on the pitch. Creating great goal opportunities and utilising it, neutralising the Argentina attacks before they are fully executed.

Messi had several free kicks, at least 4 free kicks and in good positions but couldn't convert any. It an important win for the Saudi side for sure haven't earned 3 points from a strong team in there tier. They could face other teams with little fear now.

The French team reacted to the Australian goal by applying much pressure on their defense. Their pressure paid off with those two quick goals within five minutes. I am sure the French side would comfortably win this match if they continue in this manner.

Argentina must be disappointed in their players after losing to Saudi Arabia in their group opener. Most fans supported Argentina because of Messi, but he was unable to deliver, so Argentina will need to put forth more effort to defeat Mexico. I had expected Messi to score more goals not just penalty and nothing else or, at worst, for the game to be a draw, but sadly, they were defeated how exciting the World Cup has become.
