For sure Argentina will progress to the semifinals or even the finals. Their unending wins in the qualifiers and friendly games shows that they’ll pose a serious threat to other teams in this tournament. They’re well prepared and have a team that can create chances, convert these chances and defend their wins. Not just me, but a lot of football fans has tipped them to win this tournament as they’re the favorite to do so.

Argentina is our favorite team. and I hope they can smoothly advance to the semi-finals and even to the final. however, it looks like it won't be easy even though Argentina has had a very impressive record in recent years. the reason is, Argentina has not shown anything in the world cup that will be held soon.
at least, Argentina must go through phase by phase first and maybe in the last 16 round later. Argentina got a very tough opponent, which might stop their progress to the next round.

we should not take it lightly, France, Germany, England, Spain and even the Netherlands. all participants who will compete in this world cup, will show their best game by playing all out. and yes, Brazil is the most favorite candidate to win this tournament. only a few days left, the world cup will be held soon. so, let's wait and see.

Croatia won an exhibition game 10 minutes before the end. It doesn't say much, but it's better to win such matches than lose for self-confidence.

ya.ya.yo!

It was a very difficult game for Croatia and a very hard-fought victory, 1:0 for Croatia.
It could even be said that Saudi Arabia lost undeservedly and they were even close to victory.
After the match, almost all Croatian players and the coach talked about the very difficult conditions for the game and the high heat, which made it very difficult for the players to play.
It seems to me that this is another indication that it will be very difficult for the European teams to play in the World Cup, because they are not used to such difficult weather conditions.
Because of this, we might see some unexpected results at the World Cup.

Under the leadership of Lionel Messi, Argentina stepped into World Cup host country Qatar to end their 36-year title reign. Messi-De Maria arrived in Doha, Qatar from Abu Dhabi in the early hours of (November 17). Albiceleste defeated the United Arab Emirates by a big margin on Wednesday (November 16) at the Mohammed Bin Zayed Stadium in the last warm-up match before the World Cup. Lionel Scaloni's men won 5-0 against the hosts. Angel Di Maria scored two goals for the team. Lionel Messi, Julián Alvarez and Joaquin Correa scored one goal each. Argentina last lifted the trophy at the FIFA World Cup in 1986. After that last, Maradona, no one else could put a smile on Albiceleste's face in the last three eras. In 2014, Lionel Messi came so close to the dream but the fans were heartbroken by the nightmare of Mario Gotze.

I just browsed the profiles of the Mexico national team players at the FIFA World Cup. and I was a little surprised when I found out that Alfredo Talavera (one of Mexico's goalkeepers) is 40 years old now. Doesn't that mean that Alfredo Talavera is the oldest player in the world cup this time? i think it's awesome.

and finally I also find out if there are other players who are older than Alfredo Talavera. but it seems that only Alfredo Talavera is already 40 years old. But actually there are 4 other players from different countries who are almost 40 years old. like

- Atiba Hutchinson (Canada) is 39 years, 9 months old.

- Pepe (Portugal) is 39 years, 8 months old.

- Eiji Kawashima (Japan) is 39 years, 8 months old.

- Dani Alves (Brazil) is 39 years, 6 months old.

I really appreciate these players.

The World Cup starts very soon, next Sunday. But I was surprised to find out that there will be some friendly matches between national teams today. For example, there will be matches against teams like Spain, Morocco and Portugal. I think all of these favourites may lose today because the coaches won't field a main squad ahead of very important games.

My prediction for all groups that should qualify in the first stage is:
Group A: Holland, which is visibly the strongest country and Ecuador in second;
Group B: England, one of the favorites to reach the finals, followed by the United States perhaps;
Group C: Argentina for sure and Mexico in second place;
Group D: France and Denmark
Group E: Spain, which is one of the favorites in this cup, and Japan, which is also a very strong team.
Group F: Belgium and Croatia
Group G: Brazil, obviously. Followed by Serbia in second place.
Group H: Portugal and Uruguay

Your overall prediction is pretty much the same as I think. But there is a slight difference in group E. I see that those who will qualify from group E are Spain and Germany. But if it turns out that the ones who qualify for the round of 16 are unexpected teams then I think this will make the FIFA world Cup even more interesting. Just like me, I hope that my favorite team, namely South Korea, can qualify for the round of 16. sometimes predictions and expectations are always different. and sometimes the results that appear are beyond predictions and expectations. That's football which is always full of surprises.

England has always had some of the best players in their national team like David Beckham,Wayne Rooney,Michael Owen and others yet they have never won anything big like the World Cup since the 1966 title.Now we are again in such situation with great players like the one you mentioned here yet they missed the last Euro in the final against Italy despite playing well.They need a winning mentality for bigger competitions like the World Cup which seems to be the thing that hinder their performance,they should believe more in themselves,of course without underestimating others but this is the biggest problem they have as a team.
I think they will be in the last 4 in this world championship. They start on Monday against Iran and we will see how well they play. After that against USA and Wales. They should win all 3 games, but we will see. Harry Kane are the captain of the team and with a goal in game 1 the motivation increase. The Prince of Wales (Prince Wiliam) stands also by the English team.

You're a hilarious man; support any team regardless of who stands with them. Even if Prince William of Wales supports the England team and they perform poorly, they will still be eliminated from the competition. The England team is not the title favorite. They lack a winning attitude; in reality, the team is devoid of any champions. Harry Kane, the captain, has never received a trophy in his career. The team is busy with many activities. England is simply participating in the world cup like every other team, in my opinion.

It's hard to say which team is going to play in the final match and which teams are going to qualify in the group stage, but regarding some groups, I can say Netherlands can have the more chance by far in group A and Germany/ Spain in group E. This years the world cup will be more will be harder to predict compared to the last world cup because many famous and high-performance players like Messi and Ronaldo are far from their best performance they usually performed and instead we can wait to see new starts in this tournament, in the end, I see more chance for Germany to win the cup.

Saudi Arabia is better than UAE but these two teams overall level is below Argentina one by far. Argentina shouldn't have difficult times to pass its group without a defeat, they might get a draw but I don't see one of the teams in that group able to beat them.
I even expect +3 goals vs Saudi Arabia.
Few days left from the first game and we still hear about serious injuries in some teams during the training sessions!

Honestly, I expect Argentina to pass to the next stage with 9 points.

They classified in the South American conference with no loses at all, and it's an extremely competitive conference. This group should be pretty easy to win for Argentina.
Argentina on group C along with Saudi Arabia, Poland and Mexico and they are as champion favourite because if i am not mistaken Argentina was unbeatable since 2019 but Messi has said this is makes Argentina under pressure because as the favourite most of fans want to see Argentina always be playing well and regarding their chances on group C i think it's hard to achieve perfect points on this group considering Mexico and Poland possibly will make Argentina slipped especially Poland because we all know Poland has Lewandowski and this player is very experience and probably as strong candidate for top scorer in this tournament besides that Lewandowski had ambition want to bringing Poland to qualified because probably this would be his last world cup

Argentina's consistent wins in the past matches have raised their dream of winning the World Cup in Qatar. Their performance will really take them to the finals. But since it's the World Cup, you have to fight with many teams. Moreover, in the World Cup, all the teams give more importance than other matches. Argentina fans are expecting a little more because this World Cup is the last World Cup for the favorite footballer Messi. Anyway only 3 days left ‍after that desired day is going to start.

~~~
I am not sure about this. Netherlands maybe the strongest team on paper, but the Group looks very tight. Ecuador is a quality team from the CONMEBOL and then we have the strongest teams from AFC and CAF (Qatar and Senegal respectively). Given the fact that Netherlands has suffered a few upset defeats in the past, a repeat of the same can't be ruled out in Group A. I agree with you for the prediction on most of the other groups, perhaps with the exception of Group E. For me, it will be Spain and Germany.
Good stats in the Premier League albeit a little late. At the 2018 World Cup, Harry Kane recorded 6 goals from 6 matches. That's why I say that the Tottenham Hotspur striker should not be overlooked in the list of potential top scorers among great players from other national teams.
If 2018 Harry Kane can score 6 goals from 6 games, we can imagine that Kane who is now 29 years old will be able to score more than that amount in Qatar. Of course if England can go further in the WC tournament
I have none hopes for England in this World Cup. Did you have a look on their last official games before WC ? England is looking in bad shape for this tournament but they could reach quarters finals if they have a bit of luck.
Before the WC, England did perform poorly during their participation in the UEFA Nations League tournament. Joined in Group A with Germany, Italy and Hungary, England have never tasted victory. Their best record is only being able to draw against Germany, but in the WC this time it will be a little different.
For us, England's weakness is still in the same position, namely the defense, but this time in the WC England are in Group B with slightly easier opponents although it should not be underestimated.
Quote
I'm saying from now that whoever will win the WC , will not be from Europe 100%. This is my bet for this WC and I also believe that France will have a very bad tournament as well just because whoever won WC in the last times , they didn't make it out of groups in the next one ...so I hope the curse is still there for the winner haha.
This is not necessarily true. We think teams from Europe can still do a lot in Qatar.
I like how Di Maria played as well, if he plays like that in the tournament that would boost Argentina's chances. Julian Alvarez also played good, he's still getting international experience. Argentina should've played against a better team though, this was not a good test. United Arab Emirates have no quality players. Probably opening game for Argentina will be similar to this friendly. Saudi Arabia is almost same level as UAE, they are just slightly better.
UAE   0 : 5 Argentina
Enjoyed Argentina vs UAE friendly so far. Argentina's players have performed very well. Argentina won a great 5-0. Di Maria's performance was excellent. He scored two goals and one assist. On the other hand, Messi scored a goal and an assist. Also the performances of players like De Paul, Otamendi and Allister were very good. In this way, if Argentina is able to continue the performance, then Barcelona will win every match in the group stage. Argentina has talented players in defense, midfield, and forward and all are in good form.
I like how Di Maria played as well, if he plays like that in the tournament that would boost Argentina's chances. Julian Alvarez also played good, he's still getting international experience. What's great about Di Maria's current shape is that he functions very well along with Messi. They both know each other in and out, Di Maria still has great speed and great precision in his passing and seeking the free space. I am sure we are going to see some great moves by the Argentinian offense. They are for sure a great name again and I hope they'll make it far in this tournament as it it always great to see Messi perform for a long time throughout the tournament. He is thrilled beyond imagination I guess.
Argentina literally had an exhibition game. You can't call this match a showdown. It is typical that you choose an opponent where you know you will not lose. I am also curious who will be the top scorer of the tournament. The bookies think Harry Kane, but why not Mbappe or Benzema? The number of goals in qualifying doesn't say much. If you are with a country like San Marino and you score 4 goals, what does that mean? Incidentally, I also heard that Senegal is number 20 on the FIFA ranking. Quite a high rating for this African country. What I also heard is that they managed to eliminate France in 2002. They are hungry for success, with Mane, the man in form but also the man who got injured unfortunately. I don't know if he can play the first game right away.
This world cup will be an interesting one as some of the legends and top players will be featuring in their last world cup before retirement so a lot is expected and so much thrilling experience to get from it. I can't really say which striker will score the most goals but I know some players will impress in this world cup. Senegal being top 20 isn't so much of a surprise to me because it is well deserved, they have represented Africa in the world  and they are a hungry and ambitious side. I can't wait for the games to begin to see how the top players will fare.
We all hope to see trilling games from the world cup tournament. The stars representing their various countries are just so countless almost every country has at least one iconic player with expectations from their fans. And been that this will be the last for most of this icons we expect to see the competition that hasn't been recorded in the history of football. Who gets the most goal from this world cup will be decided by which country's team has the most team work and management.
