Real Madrid is extremely strong, a world powerhouse. Pachuca winning would be a distortion of reality, just like Botafogo did in 2024. This is very unusual, practically a rare event. I don't think we'll see this again in our generation.

I also congratulate those who managed to make money betting on this championship, and soon the greatest team in the world (Flamengo) will win the Club World Cup and it will end the drought of world titles for Brazilian teams

Flamengo had a great opportunity to win the World Cup in 2019 when they played against Liverpool
And Palmeiras when they played against  Chelsea in 2021
Both teams failed, but in my opinion they were the two occasions when they came closest to taking the title from the Europeans after 2012

The trend is for it to get harder and harder

Apparently I got everything right here. Since it was a relatively easy game, the odds weren't that favorable. But it ended up being quite interesting. If I'm not mistaken, I managed to double the bet without much difficulty.

Congratulations, 2.0 odds are good profit  Cool
I lost my bet on Botafogo in the first match, lost with Pachuca second match and didn't bet on final hehehehe

I wasn't so confident that Real would score more than 2.5 goals and Real's victory wasn't at good enough odds to take the risk

Yes, I was really unsure. Pachuca could have scored a goal, I thought about that too. But in Real Madrid's current form they simply would be and were better, without much discussion about it. But Pachuca had an excellent campaign, where they beat everyone and only lost in the final to the best team of the moment. It's something to celebrate.

Pachuca in the final and I still haven't seen Botafogo fans saying "We lost to the team that went to the final".

In my opinion it will be Real Madrid, +2.5 goals and only Real should score in this game. At least that's what I hope.

Congratulations to those who bet on +2.5 goals, you've hit the nail on the head with this bet, I hope you've made a good profit

No surprises in the final. Real Madrid, who only played one game, were crowned champions and once again a European team won, it will now be 12 years since any non-European team won the title
Corinthians were the last team to win, in 2012 against Chelsea

Pachuca did a great job in my opinion, they got to the final and lost “only” 3x0, but they played well, and it's an almost impossible task to win against Real Madrid and all the money they have to pay for players

From a historical point of view, Real Madrid doesn't care about this tournament of course (although playing one game and getting one title looks like a good deal, doesn't it?), but for example Mbappe wants to improve his statistics, Vinny is hungry too, Endrik and Guler dream of proving themselves. Individually, all the players are very motivated and I wouldn't be surprised if Real plays seriously and we see something like 4-0 or more.
And it's obvious the Real Madrid game against Pachuca just ended almost slightly just as predicted above with 3 goals to nil, which was quite impressive, knowing fully well that Pachuca were no match for Real Madrid, of which I'm sure this game would have ended with either 4 or more goals if Mbappe wasn't replaced by Brahim Diaz at 62 minutes into the game, or offer assistance just as he did for the second goal scored by Rodrigo at 53 minutes into the game. But however, Vinicius Junior, Rodrigo and Kylian Mbappe did actually played an awesome game today.

Eh, work buried me and I just now found out the result of the game. I didn't think it would be held so early (20-00 my time).
So yes, Real Madrid have added another title to their collection, the players got another round of applause and I think everyone is in a great mood at the club (plus Vinny got an award from FIFA). It's a shame I didn't place a bet, but it looks like the next game in La Liga will follow the same scenario.

I don't know why I quite agree with this because instead of the championship target that is always emphasized, it seems that they prefer to prove themselves so that their quality can improve in this match because they must know that when their performance increases, victory is definitely in hand especially with opponents who are still far below them and we also know what Madrid final mode is like Cheesy

1 goal from each attacking player (Vini, Mbappe and Rodrygo) was enough to make Madrid secure their trophy in this competition and statistically I don't have any complaints because they are quite calm in playing even though there are some things that still need to be improved especially for the quality of attack, but it is still in the category of reasonable for me.

The players weren't left too tired either, it seems, to avoid the unexpected as Jude, Mbappe and Rodrygo were withdrawn early to give the other players more time to contribute although in this match I think Raul and Arda should have been given more time but it still wasn't a big problem.

Real Madrid really is going all out with Vini Jr. Will Endrick play in the final?

Real Madrid is giving 100% hehehe, but not with Endrick

So there are two days left until the final and at the moment the odds are as follows:

1.17 - 5.60 - 9.80

I don't know anything about Real's opponent, but the only thing that stops me from betting on Real with a handicap of -2 is that the game will be friendly since the winner is known in advance. But maybe the players will be happy to score easy statistics and such a bet still makes sense?

Some matches seem so easy, but when you analyze it, it's not that easy
Real Madrid will be champions, that's for sure
But I can't have such a good guess as to the number of goals. While it looks easy, Pachuca will want to play as much as possible to achieve the greatest feat in their history, while for Real Madrid this game isn't so important

I believe they are already organizing themselves, which was very different a few weeks ago. Furthermore, although Pachuca is a great team, considering their entire campaign so far, they will need to be much better than Real Madrid, it is a really huge thing to be done.

I read in the sports news today that Mbappe has already given signs that he has recovered and will take to the field to play in the Intercontinental Cup final. This is a good sign for Real Madrid, and remember that today is the FIFA The Best election and Vinicius Junior is the big favorite to win, even though he is in second place for the Ballon d'Or 2024.
The brazilian Vini Jr won. It had been a long time since a brazilian had won the award for best player in the world (the last one was Kaká in 2007). Could the absence of Neymar, who was recovering, have contributed to this decision?

Real Madrid really is going all out with Vini Jr. Will Endrick play in the final?

Rumor or the day is that Mbappè will skip the game for Real Madrid.
This useless cup since modern football will be won by Real anyway

Too much difference between eruopean clubs and the rest of the world.
Kylian Mbappe is currently injured which is why he's ruled out to feature in the FIFA Intercontinental Cup but considering the quality of players in the Real Madrid squad, I think they European champions are surely going to win the competition with the French talisman. It'll take a miracle for any other team in the competition to stop Real Madrid from winning the competition
I agree with you that it will be extremely difficult for Real Madrid not to win this tournament, but I don't know if they are taking the championship that seriously. They say here (Brazil) that European teams don't care much about world club tournaments.

As for Mbappe, it seems like he is in a bad phase with no end in sight. The relationship problems at PSG and the way he handled his departure. Now the bad phase on the field followed by injury... he needs to seek spiritual help lol  Cheesy

We don't know what extent is his leg injury sustained from his recent game. Hopefully it is not that bad. Because it can really influence the performance of the team but even without their star player, they can surely continue their upcoming game matches. However, his contribution would be missed. It has been said that he got hamstring injury. Now, how long is the recuperating period? The public doesn't know yet..

I think you're not alone hoping for this mate, also the fans of Real Madrid snd though+2.5 goals is impossible to achieve for the team at least we're positive enough that they'll able to make it.

Opponent supporters was just saying trashy words to intimidate Real Madrid, it was too early to celebrate for their favorite and nobody knows what the future may bring for the incoming match. Too much confidence might make them eat their words.

What will happen from next year?
If I understood correctly the world cup for clubs will be every 4 years.

so what they will do in the year 2-3-4? will they play this cup again or it is just deleted from the existence

As far as I know Fifa will keep this Intercontinental Cup, since it's only a few games, and only 1 game for UEFA teams

Yesterday Pachuca qualified for the final and will face Real Madrid  Cool
It wasn't this time that Al Ahly made it to the final, it's been five years since they've only made it to the semi-finals
The Mexican team qualified on penalties after a 0-0 draw

The final will be played on the 18th
Do you think Pachuca have a chance against Real or will it be a final with lots of Real Madrid goals?

Well I really don't want to sound like a hater but I think we all know who's gonna win that final, it's really being really long since any other team apart from European champions who won that cup, I don't know if my memory serves me right but I think the least I could recall was when the Brazilian champions Corinthians won it at the hands of the English champions Chelsea which was a surprise to many.
