Correct. Everyone played good but Neymar. He missed a lot of chances which a player like him could have scored easily. Huge match for Belgium! Tactically sound and super dangerous on the counter attack. Looks like next semi-final will be between France and Belgium. I think whoever wins this match will go on to lift the cup as well. The teams who play tomorrow are simply inferior. Belgium or France deserve to win the tourney hands down.
Uruguay and Brazil were called as favorites of today's games, both teams have top players known over the world, as Suarez and Neymar. But France won and Belgium in a one step to the win, Belgium pretty possible can become the cup champion this year.
Well, that was underwhelming. Uruguay really felt the absence of Cavani today, without him Suarez didn't have that partner (Stuani was awful) who could participate in build-up plays (the second goal against portugal is a great example). Once France nullified Uruguay's midfield (Bentancur, Vecino, Nandez) with Pogba, Kante, Tolisso, and even with Grizmann contributing on the defence, Uruguay lacked movement and creativity in offensive plays. Tabarez tried to change things up, but it was followed by a devastating blow just two minutes later: the 2nd goal.
All in all, France was the better team and deserved to go through.

Wow, terrible mistake by Fernando Muslera, pretty shocking how the ball bounced off his hands and entered the goal, I recommend seeing the replay. Reminds me of De Gea's mistake.

Cavani is one of the most important players of Uruguay, there is no doubt that his team will be significantly weakened in today game. France have some very good players, but one is showed true art of football in game against Argentina - Mbappe. I would like to see how he will play today, can he repeat his last game?
