Yes, and the truth is, Byron Casstillo had a very bad time, I saw a video where he himself said that he should be removed from the team in order not to damage Ecuador's classification, however, the Chileans were very bad, and it was not only the Italians who speculated that they were , the Colombians were hoping they would go to the World Cup, I honestly don't like Ecuador's style of football, sometimes they have explosiveness in their plays, maybe I would have liked Italy to go, but that's football, although now I don't see how boring the matches are, there are many without flavors from countries that want and deserve to go to the World Cup and this is something that is used with more inclusions.

Lop-sided matches will be there even if the number of participant countries remain at 32. The main argument from FIFA was that it wanted to give more chances to teams from the CAF and AFC. But even with the current qualification system, teams that qualify from these two confederations struggle against the teams from CONMEBOL and UEFA. Remember the inaugural match from the last world cup? Russia thrashed Saudi Arabia by a margin of 5-0. And this is despite the fact that Saudi Arabia is considered as one of the strongest teams in the AFC, and Russia doesn't rank among the top-20 UEFA nations.

Yes, I remember that part, what strikes me is that after that successful world, Russia is no longer in this World Cup, of course, like Italy, Sweden, they are countries that are really worth seeing, like their fans, I think that the countries that go for these teams will be seen differently, I am a little anxious to see this World Cup, the fact that it is until November is something new for me, but I do know that this Christmas will be much happier for having the World Cup at this time, it will be of another level and I want to see and I am curious to see some teams from countries that qualified in the playoffs, how will their behavior be when they have to play against the greats.

It is very unfortunate that the countries you mentioned were unable to qualify for this year's World Cup.
in particular is Italy where they are one of the European countries that have a tradition in the World Cup but in fact they have not participated in two editions of the World Cup,
what is clear is that this is a new world cup because it is held in November and hopefully it will be even more interesting

Do we have already odds for the FIFA World Cup 2022? I think that's more likely best to know rather than just saying there's easy or not for the groups. What I mean is odds for every group if ever there is. I don't think that it will always favor on the South American continent, even the defending champion is from Europe.

There are a few odds out already...

fox sports is assuming Brazil is going to win the world cup:

I kinda agree with those teams being in the top places, but maybe I'll reorder them a bit... I just don't see England as the second one for example.

I think you are too pessimistic to judge that the European continent does not have many chances against the Brazil squad only from the statistical factor and the players you mention.
you forget luck, even every country that will compete later has a chance to win the world cup trophy even though in theory the unseeded team will be eliminated first.

I'm sure you know, there's no guarantee that anyone will get a place in the final match later.
brazil squad, i have to admit that their team is the best of the last few years, great talent will be displayed by brazil squad players. but to make it happen I don't think it's easy, France, statistically their performances have not been very good in the last few matches, but they will work hard to defend the title. as well as Germany, even the Netherlands can give a surprise in the match later.

but to be honest, we idolize the same team which is argentina and expect more from him.

It won't be a surprise to any one if Brazil end up winning this one because of their style, pattern and  way of play.It is very important to note that the Brazilians look very aggressive, hungry to win  than most of the teams, and the kind of spirit I see in the boys put them ahead of the other teams.Brazil is full with talented young boys who can deliver and give you what you really desire or want.Argentina is very strong too,but because of the young nature of the Brazilian team,it makes them more hungry and more eager to go home with the trophy.

Brazil is the optimal mix of young players and experienced ones. They have guys such as Neymar, Casemiro, Gabriel Jesus and Thiago Silva on one side, and then youngsters such as Raphinha and Danilo on the other. Although I am a big fan of Argentina, I need to admit that it will be a gigantic task for them to defeat Brazil. And to be honest, I don't think that any of the European teams stand a chance against Brazil. Be it England, France, Belgium, Germany or Netherlands. Brazil is one level above them in terms of team bonding and quality.

For Group G will be against Brazil, Serbia, Switzerland and Cameroon. Apart from Brazil who will win the group, the other three teams can be said to have very balanced strengths and all three deserve to finish in second place in Group G to accompany Brazil to the next round. And I hope Switzerland will go with Brazil.
Many predict that Brazil will win, including Adenor Leonardo Bacchi (Tite) who is optimistic that he will become champion, but that is not necessarily the case because many countries have many star players and talented young players.

As for what you say about Ecuador, you are absolutely right, because Ecuador at the last minute managed to secure it, because one mistake was enough to leave it out, and not only that, later they had a lawsuit from Chile after they were classified, Apparently they played with a Chilean who did not have his papers in order very well, and they reported that to FIFA, many speculated that the team that was going to take the place of Ecuador was Peru, Colombia or, failing that, Italy, Ecuador had a very difficult and more than all the player in question, who asked the same technical director to be removed from the team so as not to harm the team, that was a great drama, finally FIFA ruled that the request was taken but that they decided that it did not apply, Chile was bored and Ecuador celebrating, that happened very recently.

In the end it turned out to be a case of sour grapes and the Chileans had their reputation damaged. Now everyone will think that Chile filed the complaint because of their jealousy. FIFA investigation found out that Byron Castillo is an Ecuadorian citizen and there was no truth in the allegations levelled by the Federación de Fútbol de Chile. However these allegations created a lot of uncertainty. There were rumors that either Chile or Italy would be allowed in to the world cup, replacing Ecuador. Fortunately that never happened.

Yes, I think Brazil is a producer of world-class star players with the style and characteristics of the samba game, and if Brazil won the championship this year, I think it would be an extraordinary achievement after a long fast without getting a world title. as well as argentina which has not lifted the world cup trophy for a long time. However, we need to see that the European continent team cannot be underestimated, Francis, Germany, and no exception for the squad that is not superior, one of which is Croatia, has the potential to win the world title in Qatar. even so i am an argentina supporter this year.

There is a feeling inside me like that we will see the biggest teams of South America doing something in the World Cup this time. These teams are obviously Argentina and Brazil. One of them can even win the World Cup title also. I see a huge potential in both of these teams and I think Brazil are a little ahead of Argentina now. Their last head-to-head ended up with a 0-0 draw in the World Cup qualifiers but I like Brazil's style more. They had a more successful qualifier stage than Argentina also. I wouldn't say no to seeing Brazil winning the title.

Brazil and Argentina are the big teams from South America this tournament, both qualified without losing any matches. That's a remarkable achievement as the next two qualified teams, Uruguay and Ecuador, lost 6 matches each:

This puts them into a clear different category.

But also we have to remember that Uruguay has won the World Cup the same amount of times as Argentina (and two more times before the world cup tournament officially started with this format, that's why they have 4 stars in their uniform). Uruguay is always a team that can end up winning.

They are in a clearly different category anyway and have been for ages, yet many games for them have been much closer than the table now shows. At the World Cup we all know it is the little things that decide whether you are going to make it to the net round or not. It is a question of whether superstars like Neymar and Messi can deliver or not, and whether the balance within the teams works out well during the tournament. We have seen teams failing which were favorites on paper, but ultimately not on the pitch anymore.

I am looking forward to that World Cup (except from the fact that it takes place in Qatar...). Many good teams with some real superstars on board and honestly I am curious to see how Messi will do at his probably last World Cup ever.

The Group G really seems to be a difficult one. I can't say it is difficult for Brazil of course because they should be able to reach next round of the World Cup by winning all of their group matches. I love their current squad now due to having many skilled players. Their recent performance has been like much better compared to the one in the past. When it comes to the remaining teams of the group it is hard to predict the team finishing as second. I'm indecisive between Cameroon and Switzerland. African teams have a potential to surprise us sometimes but we will find out then.
Brazil is in Group G with Cameroon, Serbia and Switzerland, of course, this is not a difficult matter to succeed in qualifying for the next stage, even if they can get perfect points and win the group, especially now that Brazil consists of young and senior players with such a strong squad.evenly distributed in every line, of course, this will not be a difficult thing for Brazil to qualify from the group stage, especially since Brazil is inhabited by star players who play in Europe's top leagues.it is not impossible that they will easily qualify from the group stage.

I think Group C is a very easy group for Argentina which I consider one of the big favorites to win the tournament if not the biggest one.Saudi Arabia is the worst team here so most probably it will be eliminated,Poland maybe a good team in Europe but against Argentina they definitely stand no chance at all,if they get a draw I would be extremely surprised. The clash with Mexico I think may offer a level of surprise but I highly doubt Mexico to be a threat for Argentina after Argentina will win the two games against Saudi Arabia and Poland.

All other big teams like Netherlands,Brazil,Portugal,England are all in easy groups.

I don't know whether I agree here. When Argentina plays the Copa America you would think that Brazil and Argentina just kill every opponent with at least 5 goals difference, but that is usually never the case. Actually, most of the games are really close. Sure there are some games that are clearly one-sided, but when you ask the average Joe who is going to win and mention the teams there, the answer would usually be Brazil or Argentina. Yes Argentina now won it in 2021, but before that they won it in 1993 for the last time... It is not as obvious as you would expect. Poland against Argentina will be much closer that most think I believe. And Mexico has often been a hard nut to crack. Not that Mexico would win the WC, but it is not as easy match to play. It costs resources to beat them.

In my opinion both netherland and portugal has slightely easier groups but it does not mean they will easily make it out of the group stage i also believe that brazil will dominate their group they seem really strong at the moment i don't think any one on that group could stop them.

I agree that Brazil is a slight favorite of the group, but they will face very difficult and uncertain matches against Switzerland and Serbia.
Don't forget that Serbia was better than Portugal in the group stage of qualification.
I think the hardest opponent for the Netherlands in the group will be Senegal, and Portugal will have a very awkward and difficult opponent in  Uruguay.
Ghana must not be underestimated either.
