It was not Mbappe, but the penalty conceded by Argentina which brought France back to the game. 2 out of 3 goals scored by France during the regular time and extra time came from penalty kicks. And Mbappe became the top scorer of the tournament, because he was given the opportunity to take these kicks. And the first penalty kick happened during 80th minute of the match. Till then, France was nowhere in picture and Argentina was completely dominating the match. France came back strongly during the last 10 minutes, and then during the extra time.

Yes, you are quite right. Maradona made a big mistake in this regard. He lost himself in the power that fame gives him. He did things that an athlete shouldn't do. Liones Messi is living a life just the opposite of this. That's why Messi is still able to play football at this level at this age. Maybe he doesn't realize it because we're in the same era right now. But years from now, when we look at what Messi has done, we will understand more clearly that he is the best in history. Because there is no one who can achieve what he is doing. It seems impossible for us to watch someone like him in the years to come.

Between Lionel Messi and Maradona have unique each other and we can't compare them, I don't think many people favored with Maradona after his achievement bring Argentina win World Cup trophy but some of them forget what the best achievement with Maradona at his club. Lionel Messi have different after success many kinds of trophies with club and several personal award achievement and the last success win World Cup trophy.

Lionel Messi not try retired from national team although he as success win World Cup tittle and right now he has decision for Copa America and still possibility in next World Cup.

Croatia was mentally, emotionally and physically exhausted after the match against Brazil and could not repeat the same match against Argentina.
Regardless, this is another great result for a small country like Croatia.

Morocco should not be ashamed though, they made a great run this world cup and getting into the semis was already a big achievements for them, for sure next world cup they will do more. Honestly I thought this will be an easy win for Croatia but the way Morocco played the whole time, they proved that they deserve to be on this spot and ending the world at 4th place was great for them. Croatia just managed to play consistently here and they have a great system to follow, they are more eager to win here. Finals is the next big game, and yes Argentina will have a great opportunity here to win the title and I will place a bet for this.

I didn't get to watch the game but from my personal perspective, think morocco (with the way they were being hyped all around the world and several congratulatory messages from almost all the presidents of all the African countries) expected to win their match against France which they did not and that might have shocked them to the bones, and yet to recover from the shock, they faced Croatia today, and morocco being down in their morale is why Croatia won.

On a more serious note, i am indeed disappointed they lost the third place, with all they efforts and hardwork they put into making it to the semi finals, third place would have been a good reward for their labor, but anyways, its football, anything is always possible.

Croatia will have to start thinking about a rebuild because by the time Euro 2024 tournament kicks-off in Germany, they will have an ageing team but they have time to be effective once more. As for Morocco, they have a younger team and time will tell if they can build on their success.

The final game of the tournament is tomorrow between Argentina and France. For me, France will win the game quite comfortably possibly by a two or three goal cushion. I will guess the final score to be Argentina 0-2 France and with that making France back-to-back world cup winners.

Croatia has much better team coordination than Morocco, according to my personal opinion, so I will be supporting them in this match against Morocco. I think that one of the main reasons for Croatia's success is the midfield. Luka Modric has to be among the top players in this entire tournament, especially given the combination of Kovačić and Brozović.

Morocco, however, seems to have a really capable defense in my opinion, as they have upset big teams such as Spain and Germany due to their defense. There is no doubt that we will be able to witness a fantastic game of football between the third and fourth best teams in the World Cup.

Croatia 2 - 1 Morocco and the first half is over, both of them played well tonight even croatia can break through the Moroccan defense easily to score 2 goals in this first half, I'm not sure if you look at the statistics of the game it looks like croatia will be the third place in the cup this world, even though i hope morocco will win it, just expect a surprise from morocco in the second round because i bet on him
