Do you think that Morocco reached the semi-final stage mainly due to luck? I don't think so. Luck may enable you to win one or two matches. But look at Morocco's performance so far. They haven't lost a single match, out of the six games played so far. Luck alone can't explain this performance. They won 5 matches and drew one (against Croatia in group stage). They defeated some of the strongest teams, including Belgium, Spain and Portugal. It was all hard work and great planning. Let's give them credit for that rather than downplaying their achievements.

People expect the stronger or better team to go through to the next stage on paper but in reality even a smaller team can play an outstanding game and shock the bigger nations. Usually neutrals nearly always back the underdogs and that is what makes the sport better.

I agree with Trofo, and I'm not sure BTS is a good ideal. Argentina will most likely score, but I can't say the same for Croatia. I'm just going to let this one fly because I've checked the entire market and there is no valuable bet on any of the possible outcomes. I'm just picturing " Argentina to be awarded penalty" market in my head because Croatian plays a big defensive line and I see them making some stupid mistakes. The heart of the Croatian team is in the midfield; take Modric and Kovasic out of the equation and you have a team to beat easily, but who in Argentina's midfield is up to the task?

I am not even going to bet on the semi-finals. I know that I would hit it right, Argentina to win and France to win, that is likely the outcome and I am sure about it but I am not going to bet on it at all.

Because, we have ended up with so many losses so far with the unexpected results that I just have one more money to bet, and I want that to be the final game. I am going to wager on the final game and see if I will recover all my money or not, if not then I am just going to take the loss and move on, if I do then this world cup wasn't for nothing. France seems like the likely winner of the cup, and has been even before the cup started, so I am going to hope for that.

In my opinion, France will absolutely get past the Morocco obstacle successfully. Hence I see them in the finale already now. To me there are two possibilities for the finale:

- Argentina vs France
- Croatia vs France

Both of them are likely to be seen of course. Croatia will need to do the same they did to Brazil indeed but we will see how successful they will be. But Croatia's current 4.75 odd seems really worth giving it a try. Grin

Bookmakers underestimate them too much currently.

It is difficult to guess, especially such complex bets. I am attracted to a simple bet on France to win with odds of 1.53. I think you will agree that before the start of the World Cup, such a bet would look like free money. It's funny that a double chance for France or a draw comes with only 1.08 odds - there's no point in risking an 8% profit.

Yeah I know. It's just from what we've been seeing with Croatia in the tourney, it seems like the books have been giving them less credit than what they can really do on the pitch. This is just imho, but I think Croatia's midfield has been playing a tad better than Argentina's midfield. I'm expecting an outcome something like what happened vs Brazil.

Croatia are a really team that the other teams should be very careful against. I would like to remind you that they were one of the finalists in the 2018 World Cup. Maybe France beat them there but Croatia already proved themselves. By the way there is still a possibility for another France - Croatia finale. Grin

Croatia might be really annoying as they are adopting a very defensive game plan. It is boring to me as well but the important thing for them is if they get efficiency from this.

It worked against Brazil and it can work against Argentina as well. Argentina will need to find a goal as early as possible to catch them by surprise. Right after that they need to maintain their pressure to score the second one. If they can't break Croatia's guard early then they might be in big trouble.

Because we have all seen what Croatia have done so far. They weren't given much chance against Brazil in the previous round. I was also expecting a win by Brazil thanks to a dominant performance. But Croatia just played in the way they needed to do. Their defending was solid against Brazil. Even when Brazil found the goal Croatia still stayed in the match and answered minutes before the end.

I know that it will be a difficult challenge for Argentina against Croatia but I am sure for the one reason and that is the best of the best the GOAT Lionel Messi, Messi has one special thing and that is when some disrespect him aur any miss behavior from other coaches or crowd which hurt Messi ego then he respond with a phenomenal performance and the example are available against real Madrid , Bilbao, Athletico Madrid, So this time also some crowd hurt the Messi ego which has been shown clearly by Messi celebration after Netherland win , so that the reason I am sure that messi will lonely Handel this old man's team Croatia....

On a normal level, I personally would say that it is practically impossible for Morocco to beat France, but from the way they've played their matches so far, beating many top teams and finding their way into the semi finals, I wouldnt be surprised if they end up beating France and making it to the finals, and possibly winning the world cup, winning the world cup will indeed shake the entire Moroccan nation, and would bring honor to african football teams.

I personally wish them luck in their game against France tomorrow, alot of fingers are crossed for them even here in Nigeria, the joy would be overwhelming if they succeed in making it to the finals.
