I´m in agreement with you, really the football in Europe is much superior, but taking into account the level of the South American teams is enormous, the South American qualifiers are always mostly resolved in the last dates, of course with the exception of Brazil and Argentina which are the countries that really insure the majority from the first dates.

Although the 5th place in the playoffs is always very fought when he plays with a team from Oceania, in the Americas Conmebol is always the most fought.

Last time, the world cup was hosted by Europe and the European countries performed better. But I have a feeling that this time it may be the turn of South American countries such as Argentina and Brazil. Anyone who had watched the recently concluded Copa America tournament would agree with me. On the other hand, the major European teams (France, Belgium, Germany.etc) couldn't perform as expected in the EURO 2021. Italy and Spain managed to reach the semi-finals and among them Italy became the champions. But still, I noticed a lot of weaknesses.

The Euro 2020 competition is over and there are a few weeks to relax before the football season starts again. When season 2021/22 finishes next year we can enjoy the 2022 FIFA World Cup.

England made the semi-final in the Russia 2018 World Cup and made the final in Euro 2020. Maybe it will be their tournament this time but France are defending champions because they won the World Cup in Russia 2018.

It was indeed heartbreaking for Argentina, but they are in no real danger as far as qualifying is concerned. Right now they are on the second position in the points table, behind Brazil. On the other hand, Colombia may struggle to qualify despite the draw over Argentina. Anyway, it was good improvement from Colombia. Let's not forget that this is the same team, which got thrashed 1-6 against Ecuador a few months back (and after that they went down by 0-3 against a weak Peru). So it is good comeback from them.

Yesterday I was watching the match of Brazil vs Paraguay. And I'm glad Brazil beat Paraguay 2-0. However, I was surprised to see the result of the match between Argentina and Colombia. Then I saw the highlights of the match. Argentina's second goal was extraordinary. And two of Messi's free kicks were great. Messi's luck is bad so could not score. However, Argentina's defense is very bad. If they do not improve the defense, they will not be able to win against the strong team in the future.

It is not their first draw in the qualification for the world cup, as it is their 3rd draw.
With all the players they have in the squad, they should be able to get better results so I think there must be something wrong with the strategy of the team.

Has anyone seen the match between Argentina vs Colombia? I would say the Argentine team was completely unlucky in this match. Fate did not help them. Argentina took a 2-0 lead in the first 10 minutes of the match. At the end of the first half, Argentina was leading 2-0. Colombia scored their first goal in the 51st minute of the match. Too much drama, the Indonesian Football Association (PSSI), often makes the wrong decisions when it comes to firing coaches. Fans saw potential for Indonesia under coach Alfred Riedl, then when coached by Luis Milla, but PSSI fired both of them because they failed to give trophies. even though in terms of the game it was quite good, maybe it just took time for them to give the trophy in ASEAN, and maybe it could be better in the World Cup. but it can't be helped, the drama in the Association still continues to this day, including the league's quality more bad.

Very bad performance. Passing and receiving, nothing can do perfectly. They are not a team to participate in the World Cup. They need to improve themselves and practice more.

Vietnam is a very strong team. In terms of FIFA ranking, they are 61 ranks ahead of Indonesia. And let's not forget the fact that Vietnam is now on the top of Group G, with 4 wins and 2 draws from 6 matches. It is too early to say whether they will qualify or not. But for Indonesia, there is zero chance of qualification. After 7 matches, they have just one point (from the draw versus Thailand). Teams such a Indonesia stands a better chance of qualifying for the 2027 World Cup, as the number of teams have been increased to 48 (from 32).

It's really sad to see Indonesia's performance in the World Cup 2022 qualifiers. At a time, when Southeast Asian teams are starting to show progress, such as Vietnam, Thailand and Singapore, it seems that Indonesia is increasingly not finding a good pattern of play more bad year by year. Indonesia, again suffered defeat, and this time with a score 4 - 0 against Vietnam. Only getting 1 point from 7 games, sad.

Today North Macedonia is playing against Kazakhstan in an international friendly. Let's see whether they are able to keep up with their current form. Hello boys and girls! I had to go back to Page 7 to find this. There's another World Cup thread but only for UEFA qualifiers, so I guess this is the best place to discuss AFC, CONMEBOL, CONCACAF, and CAF qualifications? Haha.

My country plays tonight and I dutifully watch, even though we've never progressed past 140th rank FIFA in all the past 15 years I can remember (140 was actually the false dawn ha) but we are always capable of upsets. For that matter, there are 3 Southeast Asian teams tonight I feel could snatch a narrow victory, so I've taken bets on some big underdogs:

Singapore (vs Palestine) - 6.20
You never underestimate Palestine and they always play with fire in their legs, but Singapore could be healthier and fitter in this one.

Malaysia (vs UAE) - 9.60
Malaysia shocked ASEAN champs Thailand recently and actually fought well in a 2-1 loss to UAE last time around, so maybe they get revenge? Yeah right haha.

Indonesia (vs Thailand) - 15.50
The Thais are so good, seriously, but they did lose to Malaysia before covid happened, and Indonesians will be clamouring for some joy after a miserable year.

Australia (vs Kuwait) - 12.92
This is probably my best bet, but Aussie teams have been truly crap in AFC, losing even to SEA clubs, but I'm hoping some internationals take aim at Kuwait's poor form, winless in the last 4 games.

Germany really shocked many people with the result they got against North Macedonia. It should have been a clear win for them. Werner is still so bad on finishing. I guess he is in a bad condition psychologically because of it now and he still hasn't got over the problem.
