Who would ever believe that Serbia would win Portugal a 2-1 defeat? Would it be the money that their President promised them(€1million bonus) that motivated them to beat Portugal in Lisbon on Sunday that earned them a direct qualification to the World Cup?

I bet for Portugal victory in that match, but I didn't think that Serbia could destroy Portugal in a match that was quite decisive for both teams, I think the bonus promised by the president of Serbia really motivated the Serbian players, even though they conceded in the secound minute the start of the game, but Dusan Tadic and the other Serbian players did not look desperate, and even they played very enthusiastically after conceding the first goal.Which after they won, they donated the money to help treat sick children 👏

Portugal losing its last qualifier round is really unexpected. Serbia had made its way and got qualified for the world cup. Now it's hard time for Portugal, because the possible way is to take a chance and reach through the playoff match. Portugal made its goal by the very second minute of the match, but the final goal from Aleksandar Mitrović at the unexpected time made everything upside down.Which after they won, they donated the money to help treat sick children 👏

@romero121 it’s clear that Portugal played in over confidence, and they clearly underestimated Serbia and in the end they paid the price for their over confidence by losing the match, and risking their entry in next year’s World Cup.
Furthermore I don’t think that it was about the money, because I believe it’s was more about the glory of beating Portugal and making a name for themselves in the process.
As always, the Argentina - Brazil match is going to be very interesting. I was wondering where is that topic every time I see discussion about African or American teams in the UEFA qualifiers topic because I remember having a general one.Brazil already qualified for World Cup so I don't know how serious will go against Argentina. Even bookies are backing Argentina @2.37 vs @3.45 for Brazil which is kind of crazy imo.
For African qualifiers, I find out that Ivory Coast didn't qualify. South Africa was only 1 goal ahead from qualifying, otherwise I see known teams leading each group, they generally qualify to World Cup but they have to go for play-offs first.

England scored 5 goals past Andorra. With a stronger team selection it could easily gone in to double figures. It is easy for England to win a game like that with a weaker opponent using a weakened team but when they play against the bigger teams they will have to put their best team forward otherwise it will be another case of getting so close yet being so far (as against Italy in the Euro 2020 final)

In fact, Turkey could have put forward much better matches. If they weren't for the points lost due to a few simple mistakes, they would have had a chance to enter the world cup. But in the current situation this is close to impossible. Their opponents must lose points, and statistically this will not be possible much.

After a management change, I was expecting to see a better performance from Turkey. They were really good sometimes during the match but didn't play very good in general. They scored an early goal and had the psychological advantage too. But they made a huge mistake after the goal. They started letting Norway come to them. Even without Haaland and Sörloth, Norway still got one point by equalizing the score. Now, Turkey are in a problematic condition. Because if they and Norway win until the last group matches, they will hope Norway to lose to Netherlands and they will have to win their match to take the second place and qualify for the World Cup in that case.

Andorra and England match in my opinion is like a dwarf against a giant and clearly in terms of the squad, england much better than Andorra, but Andorra could surprise England in that match, because andorra who is currently ranked 5th in the group standings will certainly try to get points in order to at least increase their chances of qualifying, although it is a bit impossible but I think they can still improve their position on the condition that they are no longer allowed to lose points in the rest of the match.
