In my opinion, Brazil still has a solid team, they need a quality coach, reportedly Ancelotti will become their coach when his contract with Madrid ends in june 2024. I understand that Brazil is in a slump in the qualifying round, but mathematically they still have a chance to win qualify and appear in the next World Cup. on the other hand, I am sure they will not lack the best players because they still have 2 years left to develop their young players.

Neymar is the backbone of the National Team, and the absence of the Al Hilal player reduces the rhythm of attacks on the front lines, but as I said at the beginning there is still time for Neymar and everything will get back on track. Moreover, in the future, if Ancelotti really becomes the head coach of the Brazil squad, then their bargaining value will be even better at the World Cup. I think there will be a change regarding their mentality, so Brazil can talk a lot there.

Brazil has been able to produce good players. There is no doubt about that but the players that they produce are strikers. At least most of them. Just look at the Brazil squad right now and you will get really good strikers in great numbers but not a lot of players for other positions. That has been a problem for Brazil in recent times. I am not saying they don't have good players in other positions but those players are not enough. And the team is not very balanced. With all these problems, and also with the injury of Neymar around whom the team was supposed to be made in my opinion has put Brazil in a bad situation. I don't know if things will change from here to 2026 but certainly the Brazilian national team has a lot of work needing to be done before it returns back to its normal quality and the winning mentality again.
Right now I will say definitely Argentina and Brazil has to swap their place but if we take on consideration the rumours about Carlo Ancelotti might coaching the Brazilian team then we might expect a lot of improvement and we may see Brazil competing all the other teams. Until then, it is early to judge about the team future.

Brazil is usually a team in which they have much more hope to win the World Cup than any other team and they and they were usually performing well in the world cups but it seems they are not going to have too much chance as they had in the past and with the current situation they have I think Brazil can hardly even think about winning the next world cup in 2026.

Last time Brazil won FIFA World Cup when I still on elementary school and my father ask me watching the final match between Brazil vs Germany in coffee shop, I am so happy watching with Ronaldo, Rivaldo and many top Brazil player success made Olive Kahn have conceded two goals although his performance very quit well in that match. Brazil is my favorite team but after last edition winning on 2002 have loss their winning mentality and have 5 world cup edition but Brazil never won and lead to final stage yet.
Usually with other national teams have good progress performance in World Cup, Brazil sadly loss their winning mentality with thousand talented but still failed reach to the final stage of FIFA World Cup, wish next edition Brazil can lead to final stage and make new record as national teams with many collected of FIFA World Cup trophies.

Winning Ballon d'Or is not an easy task because a player have to show evidence by improving in his performance in all rounds, and ensure to win major titles at both club and country level of football.  So tell him can these young generation achieve that when they're inconsistent in performance, they can do better in club and when it's time to deliver for country, they become unavailable. Brazil doesn't follow with the current status, rather we have France that rank up first, Kylian Mbappe who have been outstanding and consistent weigh back in 2018. When my father watches football and sees Brazil, he is very happy. He always expects miracles from Brazil and I often tell him that this Brazil is not the Brazil he was used to watching in his childhood. To be fair, football changes. Teamwork wins over individual capabilities. Why was Spain so powerful during 2008-2012? Spanish National Team was full of Barca and Real Madrid players. Pique, Alba, Busquets, Alonso, Xavi, Iniesta... 6 great players from one team. The last time a player made it into the top three at the Ballon d'Or award was in 2017 when Neymar came third. Before that it was Neymar in 2015 and before that it was Kaka in 2007 coming first. Do you really think that right now the most best players in the world come from Brazil? We are talking about active players. This isn't the best metric to look at, but if we check the whole potential across one team, I think France would score the highest average in points per player. Maybe some other team, but I don't think it would be Brazil.

A few years ago Brazil had many strong and famous players also the playing style of this team was very different from what we see from then these days.
The only superstar player they have is just Neymar and we know he can't do anything for this team right now because he is mostly injured or not in the good form to have the perfect they want to see from him.
This means Brazil should make huge changes hoping to get some improvements.

I agree with you about their performance, but quality is still best in the world as they have too many quality players which are giving their best in all around the world so it's just a matter of management which is not having good results, and they need to go with this aggressively as we have rumours they are offering coach offers to Zidane and Ancelotti, but things are not going well as they needed so hopefully they will manage this all in coming days for the improvement.

We have now nearly 30 months in World Cup which is important for them as they are going down if they want to bounce back then surely, they need to be tough for this and having good results as well their current generation is also capable of doing things like they have in history but who is going to bring change it is a big question for all Brazilians.

That is an irony for the Brazilian squad. Nowadays they are no longer considered the strongest in football. It is even possible that they will no longer be considered a top 10 world football power. This is very sad because two decades ago they were the team that was the dream of all young children around the world. I think in the past there were no children who liked football who didn't know Brazil. I also grew up and saw how the great Brazilian players of the past with Jogo bonito brought beauty to football. But I wasn't surprised by the list of contenders. I probably wouldn't have believed that England would win.

To tell you the truth, I don't agree, at the moment I don't see Brazil as favorite one anymore
