Argentina's team management will never even consider sacking Messi. Messi is a world-class good player, so the Argentine team management and the Argentine government respect him enough. Scaloni is undoubtedly a good course in Argentina. So for the sake of the team, Messi and Scaloni should participate in the 2026 World Cup together and the Argentina team should play well. Well.. I also don't believe in these stupid rumors. At least on the outside it looks as if Lionel Scaloni and Lionel Messi enjoy excellent bonding. If Scaloni leaves for one of the UEFA clubs, then I am sure that it will be due to financial reasons. And the Argentine Football Association (Asociación del Fútbol Argentino), needs to think about it. This guy won them the world cup in 2022. There is no excuse in not rising his paycheck to match those offers from Real Madrid or any of the other clubs. He deserves it, IMO.
I can't believe Argentina is about to stop working with Scaloni because of Messi, Messi is already old and he can't play on his team for a long time but Scaloni can't have good performance in this team and he has good results for far even in the important match they had against Brazil. But the chairman of this team, Claudio Tapia didn't even say anything about Scaloni recently when he was talking on media and it's not surprising to see Scaloni leave the team because of one player before the 2026 World Cup.

I agree with you. But still, the presence of big players will really determine the direction of the team's game. This can be seen from the many great players who have had a huge influence on the national team. This can be seen from Wales who have Bale and Haaland for Norway.
Overall this is a collective game but still a great player like Messi also really influences the mentality of the team and other players.
Norway have got more chances of qualifications due to the presence of haland who has helped them get more goals to victory, the list can go on about big players who has helped their national teams attained heights they wouldn't have ordinarily, same Also can be seen in clubs. The mentally and confidence of a team is no doubt boosted greatly when they have the presence of big players in their team, although the collectiveness of the team performance to achieve victory cannot be underestimated and that's why they give awards and the trophy to the team as a whole whenever they win at the end of every game.
I think right now football is actually changing. Just as we saw a time very recently where the team which had the most fast players were able to win, now there is a transition going on. Now the team which can play well with all the players available, the team which actually are capable of playing well as a team, is going to win. That's what we saw in this World Cup with Argentina right?
So, I think now even though every team is going to need attackers who have good pace, they are still going to need a team that is good overall.

The status of Lionel Messi is simply too big and exerts an excessive amount of influence over every decision. Scaloni for instance will be conflicted between building the team including the choice of players on Messi who is as of now old. On the other hand, he could get ready for plays and pick his players with less reliance on Messi.
I do not think Messi is fit for playing at a high level in the next World Cup yet perhaps his presence in the national team alone can make them feel better and play better. So there are for sure vital decisions to be made.

First of all evening he has some problem with Lionel Messi he is definitely not going to say that out in the media.
Secondly, if he says that he has achieved what he wanted, I guess it is okay.

I always thought that Scaloni had an excellent relationship with Messi over the years, and for me there is not enough proof to suggest that anything has changed overnight.
