That's what I believe will happen. He went to Saudi Arabia only because of the wear and tear he had at Paris Saint Germain, especially with Mbappé and the team's fans. Since there were no better offers from elite European teams, he decided to accept the petrodollars for a few years of football.

From what I've read, Neymar bought a plot of land in a gated community in Rio de Janeiro, where he intends to build a mansion, so everything indicates that he will soon return to Brazil and the team he's been flirting with is Flamengo, which in theory is the only team in Brazil that can afford to pay Neymar's high salary.
Neymar was never been in list of the Saudi League organizers as they were chasing Lionel Messi after having Cristiano Ronaldo but after rejection from the Messi they chase Neymar even we all know about Neymar and his injuries, so this gamble never works for them, and now they are facing consequences for this as well but now most chances we will have no elite club for the Neymar after end of this contract, and he will be headed for Brazilian Serie A because he can adjust in his own country.

But he is still good for the Brazilian team because currently they are having no big player who can do anything positive for them but due to long injuries things are not going as expected so Brazilian soccer future and Neymar both are hanging around with poor performance and struggling for the better days now we have to wait next World Cup qualifiers for having major updates about him.
Neymar was injured while strengthening the Brazilian National Team in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers, which made him have to miss the Copa America yesterday. I think Neymar will be fine when playing in the Saudi Pro League, because the level of play there is not so competitive, but Al Hilal must bear the risk when finding Neymar injured again after strengthening the Brazilian National Team. Neymar is known as the "glass player" because he often gets injured, and it seems that his injury this time is the worst. Hopefully he can get fit soon, and return to play for Al Hilal and can help the Brazilian National Team in the continuation of the World Cup qualifiers.

Meanwhile, we must admit that the Brazilian National Team lost a player who was able to make a difference when Neymar was absent, this confirms that his role is very much needed. Indeed, Brazil does not lack talented players, but they do not have the same flying hours as Neymar, his experience and expertise are difficult to find in other players. The upcoming 2026 World Cup event will most likely be the last event for Neymar, and for now it seems that he will stay in Saudi until his contract ends.

I think the biggest problem is not that he is in Saudi Arabia, the problem is that he has to improve quickly to be in optimal conditions to Compete for his country, Brazil is not doing very well in football right now. I think the problem is a lack of leadership. They need a more determined coach to get good results, because they haven't done well in the qualifiers for the next World Cup and that's something that has affected them a lot. They are much better off with Ney, and as soon as he is well, even if he lives on the other side of the world, he should go to help his Team.

I can certainly say that Neymar is the best Brazilian player to emerge in the last 15 years.

He was hampered by injuries, but one thing is certain: he could have been much greater than he was if, instead of choosing to be a celebrity, he chose to be a real athlete, like Cristiano Ronaldo chose. Neymar has the gift of playing, but he often relaxed when it came to physical preparation and rest from matches. This may have been one of the reasons for so many injuries throughout his career.
I wonder if players like Neymar had the same focus as Ronaldo or Messi, Neymar would definitely be Goat and who knows, he might even win a FIFA World Cup. His natural talent is undeniable, but I think he still has the attitude of a child, he's very quarrelsome and a party animal, which undoubtedly affects his development and focus on professionalism.

We should not expect to see Neymat playing in the good for when he comes back to play for Al Hilal and Brazil. Neymar was a good player when he was younger but he is out of good form and he is getting injured more often which is a reason to say Neymar is not stable anymore.
Brazil was relying on Neymar before but they should learn to pay attention to the younger player and find their new Neymar.

If Neymar is not injured then surely he will do well either for the national team or Saudi League club Al Hilal. We saw how the Brazil team did without Neymar at the 2022 World Cup and Neymar's absence was clearly evident in the Copa America. Neymar is a talented player and has no shortage of skills so he needs to defend himself before playing well. I believe if he performs a full season fit for any team he will surpass all players.
One of Neymar's biggest regrets is that even with so much talent in football, he was unable to express his talent due to injuries and was unable to crown Europe's best. The whole career has gone to injury, so the hope of Neymar will be great at the end.

I am not sure whether Neymar will ever again play for Al Hilal. Back in April, he made an announcement that he will leave the Saudi Club next year and go back to Brazil. So far, he has played only 5 matches for the club in Saudi Pro League. Almost a year back, he suffered an injury to anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) and this was the last time that he played competitive football. There were some rumors that he will be part of the Al Hilal squad for the Saudi Super Cup, but the team management later confirmed that he's not ready yet.

He is in the best possible place to play while he recovers from his injury and gains physical conditioning. The Saudi Arabian league is not as competitive as the major world leagues. Not that it is bad, but it is still evolving. Perhaps with the government's investments in clubs, this will change in the future. Unfortunately, Neymar got injured and the club that suffered the biggest loss was the club, which invested heavily in signing him and was unable to use his services as a football player.

There were high expectations from Neymar, but he had a career that was far from expectations. I think the period he played in Barcelona was his most productive period. We can also say that he lived a life away from his football career by experiencing long injuries. He spent 1 year in the Saudi league without playing properly. His treatment continued for 1 year and the Saudi club continued to pay him his salary. It would be best if he returned to Brazil when his contract ended.

Looking at Al Hilal's social media, it doesn't look like they want to cancel Neymar's contract. On social media they have been posting one after another about Neymar and they are waiting for Neymar to return and in various posts they have hinted that Neymar will be available in their starting XI from the start of the season. Looking at these posts, it doesn't seem like Al Hilal is going to let Neymar go. However, there were some such rumors before the transfer window opened but now it seems that those rumors are baseless.

If Neymar can play a full season for Al Hilal then I believe Al Hilal management will be very happy with his performance and will be interested in extending his contract.
Now the only prayer for Neymar is that he stays injury free and plays the full season fit for Al Hilal and Brazil

From what I can see, the Saudis have so much money, so much money that continuing to pay an injured player will never be a problem. As I said before, the marketing return that Neymar brings makes up for the lack of games... His contract ends next year, and by Neymar's choice he will return to Brazil to play for Flamengo, I'm almost certain of that. It won't be for lack of renewal offers, but rather by the player's choice.
Every team in the Saudi league has a lot of financial support so when buying a player they don't think much about how much money they are spending due to buying that player.  Therefore, club owners will not spend money on such players who will take money from their club just by sitting and will not play any role for their team. You can be sure if Neymar gets injured this season and if he is out for most of the season then they will release Neymar next season.
Buying a player, the player is fit for the whole season but he doesn't perform well, so the club can rely on him for the next season, but if he is injured every season, there is no chance to rely on him.

Neymar is a racehorse but he is sick and sick horses are underrated. Neymar will have to play the full season next season with utmost caution, only then will he be able to play at Al Hilal until the 2026 World Cup.

I believe that if he returns, it will take a few more months to acquire the ideal conditioning and playing rhythm. The injury he had was very serious and even the player himself was discouraged by the slow recovery. Maybe he will play out the last year of his contract but he probably won't want to renew it. He has plans to return to Brazil... His destination will probably be Flamengo.
Neymar is a world class player in Brazil that started his football career in a very young age and was famous due to his outstanding skills but I feel bad that a player like him wants to be shut out of his qualities with the way he gets injured. Imagine assuming Neymar was not injured to this point he would never think of going back to Brazil when there are big rich clubs that will be ready to offer him a deal. He is too soft on the field and does not play safe from injuries.

I have seen many footballers who have taken the game of football as an art and watching them play football feels like they are artists and football is a painting for them. Neymar is one such player who is a master artist of football. Every player has injuries in their career but no player has ever scored as many goals in his career as Neymar has. At one point it seemed like Neymar was overacting but when his team manager gave a press conference off the pitch saying he would be out for a year or six months we realized how serious his injuries were. Maybe he will come back from injury but his mind and body may not support him and at some point he may announce his retirement from football to fight the injury.
The word injury has become synonymous with Neymar's name. We see him get injured more than once almost every season.

We all know that Neymar Jr. is a great player. But as good a player as he is, he hasn't been able to give his team his full potential yet, mainly due to injury issues. Most of the time we see him injured. In fact, he is not at fault here as he is the victim of the most foul tackles by his opposition players. Moreover, while other players can overcome a bit of push by opposition defenders or midfielders, Neymar cannot overcome it. Just as Neymar has missed a lot in his football career due to injuries, his team Brazil has missed a lot of good things from him. He keeps getting older but his injuries are not reducing, more injuries can end a player's career.
Neymar is so injured that he prays to God on his Facebook before every match and then enters the field asking God to protect him but he is not the last defender. In terms of physical structure, Neymar is not like all other players. While all the other players have good fitness, he is lagging behind in this aspect and has many errors in his technique due to which he suffers repeated injuries. And the opposing defenders now have a clear idea of his weaknesses so that the opposing defenders hit the spot where he is weak and that injury leaves him with a long-term injury. Neymar is on the brink of retirement but still I don't know why it seems like he just started his football career because we haven't seen him play much because of his injuries.

Neymar Jr. was never a high-scoring player, of course, he scored a lot, but his career is better known for his skill and his vision of the game than for his goals. Neymar's biggest problem was not his injuries or anything like that, the problem was when he chose to be a celebrity instead of an athlete, since he started to appear as a kind of artist instead of football, his career declined... nothing against it, of course, it's just choices, and for him it seems that it was the best one, financially speaking.

There has been enough discussion of Neymar here recently on this thread, it seems as if he is the only most famous player in football and we have forgotten a lot of other legendary players that are playing, in form and are not injured.
The World Cup football is not too far away and I hope that we do not see any injuries to the players and see if the best players are taking part in 2026 fifa World Cup.
I think we should close the discussion about Neymar and Brazil because I see there are already about 5 pages mostly discussing Neymar's injury. It all started with this post: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.64381631

Yes Neymar is the best player but he is the best player in Brazil right now, not the best player in the world. The previous discussion was about the two GOATs, Messi and Ronaldo and their chances of playing in the 2026 world cup. We can actually discuss many things about the 2026 world cup. Like the problem of poor accommodation in the United States at the 2024 Copa America which Joniboini started from here
Surely now it's time for change of topic because we already have enough talk about Neymar as it's not going end soon so having intention about this is good to form the @Hanadawa Neymar will be part of the Brazilian team in future or not time will give all updates about this and his injury now we have to talk about World Cup 2026 which is going to hold in Canada/Mexico/USA with most matches will be held in the USA as we will be having 48 teams in this event as well which is record for this event.

USA is famous for American Football, Basketball and Baseball, but recently we are having good development about few games as recently we have T20i Cricket world cup, and now they are having soccer World Cup 2026 with Olympics 2028 are also going to hold here mean they are having too busy schedule in sports which is good for the games because having things like these here always bring many new developments in games and their technology so can we have good future of soccer here it's also good question because still American love their own games as these are having amazing history and great future.

Neymar already out of the game for one year because he plays just 5 games in last season for his club Al Hilal and having last game for the Brazil long time ago but most chances he is going to have his next game against Ecuador at home because now situation is not good for his team they are badly struggling for having spot in for the 2026 world cup.

Even he is having his contract with Al Hilal but as things are going we are having no good chance for him to have his contribution into their success but most chances Al Hilal will be keep him until end of this season, and he can leave this club at the end of this season with now his next destination is going to be him home country Brazil because no club is going to take risk for having player like him into their club.

He is still an unknown quantity, it is impossible to know how his body and skills will be after a serious injury like this. We have cases like Ronaldo Nazario who managed to stand out after a serious injury, but he was an exception. Generally, after the age of 30, a physical decline begins, and in Neymar's case this could be aggravated by this injury... Playing for big European clubs, for example, is out of the question. No one will want to pay an astronomical salary for a player like Neymar, who, despite his talent, is in complete decline.

No one having any doubt about the financial position of Saudi Pro League clubs with their main target is having the best things for the good future and mostly clubs are owned by PIF which is public fund for supporting sports in Kingdom in last season we have them in top league after spending huge funds for few players as this is not problem for them because they are looking for better future and strong foundation of this league.

Having player like Neymar is always headache for the clubs even he is the good player but still he is having never been good time with his skills due to injuries and off the field issues we can check his last six years at the PSG where he never complete any season due to injuries so same happening in Saudi League and most chances he is going to end his career here on negative point just because of Messi refuse to play here in this league, and he loves to join MLS where he is also doing good.

The recents discussion is mostly about Neymar and Al-Hilal, wouldn't be more appropriate to post that on the Saudi League discussion thread? I thought I misclicked this thread at first when I read the recent discussion. I understand it comes from discussing Neymar and Brazil, I just feel that it gets a bit off-topic if it switch to discussing his chance to win the Saudi Leage with Al-Hilal.

Btw, I tried to search recent news related to the next world cup, and it seems some people are trying to push FIFA and other governing bodies to prepare sufficiently following the latest chaos at Copa America[1]. It's a fair criticism I guess, although it's unclear we can rely on FIFA to improve quickly. CMIIW.

Or about whether the United States which is famous for American Football and Basketball will be able to make the world cup interesting to watch? Do the people of the United States have attention and interest in football? What do you think?
