It's feels great working and earning in crypto-currency really it's brings the world closer, I can be in Africa and working for a client millions of miles away in another country and payment method won't be a problem with crypto-currency, the world is advancing and crypto-currency is facilitating it. Anytime I put in work, and get paid in crypto-currency I hunger to work even more, it's a true blessed feeling
Yes. I think it's a big advantage for employeers from rich countries and employees from poor countries, because the first group will be having access to qualified labor for a cheaper price, if compared the to local rates of employees of their own country, which demands better payrates due to the living cost being more expensive there. Meanwhile, employees from poor countries don't bother receiving less, as even less is still a lot for the local living standards.

On the other hand, bringing employeers and employees closer, doesn't matter where they are located in the world, can have a negative impact for the masses of first world countries, because they will have difficult finding jobs which pay decently, as they will have to compete with people who are, like you said, millions of miles away in another country, for the same spots.

My best wishes to you. Congratulations In fact, this kind of news sometimes affects our minds a lot. I think it would be great if we could discover that. However, such a discovery delights not only me but thousands of other viewers. I pray all the time you go far.

Congrats OP. This one here shows to prove that talent and skills are more reliable these days to earn up a living, and not just some sort of luck. Now i am gaining new ideas too as to where i could possibly gained more bitcoin aside from purely investing. Also, this goes to show that bitcoin could lead us into more stable jobs like we used to deal with fiat. But definitely, the offer here is more worthy than working for fiat.

I write apps for a living.  Someone wanted a crypto one done and they paid me in bitcoin. Living the dream.
I know how you feel it has been so long and I could still remember how happy I was back then,
I feel like I finally gain some freedom and become independent when I first earn cryptocurrency.
I was earning small amount back then but I was already dreaming big with crypto.

Everyone remembers their first payment which they received in bitcoins. I remember that i was paid in bitcoin to write an article a few years back.
I also still remember when I got my first payment in Bitcoin. I got my first Bitcoin because I created a video to promote a crypto project. In the past, I have a youtube channel that has good numbers of subscribers. So, I was trying to take advantage of my youtube channel by creating videos of crypto projects. Finally, I got my first from that videos although the number of my Bitcoin was quite small.

Some would say better ever than never, but you have been a member of this forum since 2014 - which means it took you 8 years to receive your first BTC payment for your work - which somehow places the adaptation of the BTC at the speed of a snail's or turtle's step. I hope that you will not have to wait another 8 years for the next payment in BTC Wink
Lol.. shall i will say it's when op encounter it own experience of receiving payment with Bitcoin, since op has started to summon courage via receiving payment with bitcoin, i believe from my perspective it has activated for the life system, no matter the delay or time frame it has taken op, we should encourage and wish op to continue with cryptocurrency payment transactions, because it definitely bring more testimonies about cryptocurrencies especially bitcoin in outside world..lol.

Congrats to you and sure feels good especially if you are a Bitcoin enthusiast cos you know you would hold on to it not just only as an asset with value but also as a souvenir because it was gotten as a payment from a development you did. I would take Bitcoin payment any day over fiat, enjoy.
You should do so. I have been accepting Bitcoin as payment for long now. First I started on freelancing platforms, and I was making use of other payment methods like PayPal and payoneer, and the rest of them. The fees that I had to pay in making use of these payment platforms was quite much for me, so I decided to look for other platforms that I would use, and Bitcoin was the only option I had which would be better than any other payment method that I was using as of then.

Although that required me to leave the freelance platform which I was using, so I had to move most of my regular clients from there to making use of Skype and other means to communicate with them and also to deliver their jobs through emails. I had to tell them that I was accepting Bitcoin, and surprisingly a lot of them complied, and started making use of Bitcoin to send payments to me.

How I wish I also get some decent amount of bitcoins from my daily work but that is almost impossible since our city is not yet crypto-friendly and even though I work as a graphic designer, I haven't been paid in crypto in any of my online transactions. Anyway, the best thing to offer is to give them some freebies when you are working for them and tell them to pay with bitcoins if they really want to get those freebies but right now you need to educate these people first and be their guide in their journey towards the crypto industry.
Not that really needed for bitcoin to be regulated on your country since you could really still able to earn bitcoin through online jobs which do pays bitcoin or other crypto which there would be no limitation which could

hindered out for you to earn.Everything could be possible when it comes or talks about accessibility. As long you do have the skills then you wouldnt really be having no problems on earning online.
Of course it wouldnt really be easy because competition would really be that high which make things a little bit harder.

If only I get paid in bitcoin as frequent as I desire, I'd be happy.
I write also and more than often, people prefer paying with fiats than pay with Bitcoin even if you insist. I don't know their reasons and am not giving up either.

This is understandable. Many companies still lack all the necessary information about crypto payments and haven't integrated them into existing processes and systems. Paying in dollars or euros feels more comfortable because they don't know if they should trust the business handling their crypto payments. They would feel more comfortable with a cash payment that is easy to make and does not require a third party to process the transaction. Others find the same payment service to be too complicated.

All these reasons make them stick to the status quo of paying with cash and paying with their preferred currency. And this is understandable for the time being.

It depends. As for me, I'll be glad to paid with bitcoin and fiat as a part of my salary. Bitcoin for my investment/asset and fiat for my necessities.

We all have our own preferences, and I believe that we should respect one another's choices. Both are good for me, and I agree that it is a good investment; we are just a little surprised and delighted that bitcoin was included in our salary rather than the traditional currency; it is amazing that you received bitcoin while working, and you can keep it because it has sentimental value; however, when spending, we should stick to fiat currency because bitcoin is still only accepted by a small number of merchants at this time.

Happy for you mate. It’s surely good thing to know when we are already on the same page and want to accomplish similar dreams. For now I’m just blessed with signature campaign from the forum. I am trying hard way with simple faucets, micro earning sites etc whose paying me in satoshi. I know this is not real payment for doing something real. What I mean by real is the usage of our own skills and implementation of the same to service others and get paid into crypto. I see you as ideal example here and I just wish someday I will also be capable of doing the same. Good luck for further jobs.

your skills are very much needed in this era of digitalization, making your clients pay with Bitcoin i'm sure it will require quite tough negotiations (because not everyone has confidence in bitcoin).  continue to develop your skills, and also offer your services on other freelance sites, there are many whale clients who are ready to pay you with bitcoin.

The reasons sometimes are reasonable though, for say if they don't have much knowledge about Bitcoins and how to get it or if the transaction is like smaller then paying with Bitcoin is not feasible because of the high transaction fees currently, but if you write as a freelancer for bulk work, then you can get paid in Bitcoins if amount is higher then also if they pay with fiat, just convert it into crypto yourself if they refuse to pay you with crypto and save it Grin

Well not all --there are still people who love to pay bitcoin and even purchase using bitcoin, it is up to us which do we prefer.
When I first got my bitcoin earning here in the forum, I am very happy at that time and I can't believe that the bitcoin value was increase.
However, congrats to the the OP, the hard to task that you have done, the hardest skills that you have know the higher chances you will get a bitcoin as payment and making apps is not an easy task.

Congratulations colleague. I am expecting to get my first bitcoin pay. When I get it the whole world would hear about it. I would keep it until it gets to the $100000 mark this year.

Congratulations on a successful business move. Could you please elaborate on this. Are you doing it part-time or do you expect to earn a regular income in the form of crypto for your day job? Whatever it is, it sounds like it could be lucrative. I wish you the best.

Getting paid with BTC you must be very excited right. You should be proud of your hard work, I've felt what you feel but getting paid with Etherum and it's an impressive thing to me for earning money from crypto. Glad with your good news. Keep it up bro. BTC have good potential as payment of salary and i hope to get it too

It feels even better when you one day find out that you were paid $100 for the job and that's now $500 Cheesy I had that with my first payments from signature campaigns from 2017. They were left on some small wallet made especially for tips from bitcointalk and I went to check it out again in 2021 and it was something like 6x the value in fiat Cheesy Working for bitcoin can reward you multiple times in your lifetime, you just need some patience.
