Good job mate, I suggest too keep receiving bitcoin as a payment for your services and hold it for years, in the future you will be amaze how rewarding to hold btc when the price is move up exponentially in the next few years.
Of course he is seeking for client that  will pay him Bitcoin , check his account and you'll see how long he had been in this offering but yet just recently that he recieved payments.

I Got paid also with Bitcoin during the first week of January.
Mine was as a result of a football competition, payment was made with Bitcoin as I was captain of my team that won the football tournament down my ends and streets.
I did scored the highest goals in the competition, a total of seven goals, I was paid a $40dollars worth of bitcoin.

I can feel your feelings, because I felt same when I received my first payment in Bitcoin. And it's from the forum which made me more happy. Thanks for sharing your experience with us and this will inspire more users to get involved with Bitcoin. Just you need to work hard to make your dream true. Since you know the way already so it will easier for you. Best wishes for you.

Everyone remembers their first payment which they received in bitcoins. I remember that i was paid in bitcoin to write an article a few years back. The feeling of getting your first income in bitcoin is always a special one.

I Got paid also with Bitcoin during the first week of January.
Mine was as a result of a football competition, payment was made with Bitcoin as I was captain of my team that won the football tournament down my ends and streets.

Did you virtually play football over the internet or did you win bitcoins by physically playing the game?  Bitcoin must be legally accepted and widely used in your country if people can pay it in competitions.

I write apps for a living.  Someone wanted a crypto one done and they paid me in bitcoin. Living the dream.
Yep, it's a wonderful feeling. I've started earning bitcoin (long ago) with translations, hence you, with apps, are already at a higher level.
Well done and keep it up!
Not all would really be starting on having that kind of skills thats why he do really have that advantage which he could really monetize if he use it on proper way.
Having this skill cant be acquired in short time thats why he had that skills which is more than in most people here on the market. You could really make
tons if you do know on what you are doing.
So, you are saying that he is already born with that skill? I think it does not work like that. Everyone of us will start on scratch, we may discover our interest eventually but we still need to work that out in order to become better at it. We should not let our self down just because we think that someone has a better skill than us.

Just think that someone will have this skill but he cant do the skill that you have because like I said earlier, it is all about interest. We may have a different set of skill but we do all feel the same feeling when we finally get paid with our hardwork. The feeling gets extra better if the payment is in the form of cryptocurrencies because we have interest on it.

Amazing! Bitcoin is the best mean of payment for virtual jobs and tasks. This way you can work for people from any country in the world and still get paid instantly, without using middlemen services which charge abusive taxes and fees such as traditional banks and even sites like Paypal. When you start dealing with bitcoin you don't want to stop doing this anymore. You just keep trying to find more and more opportunities to continue earning and saving. Working in informaticss field and having a lot of customers, I guess you can accumulate an entire bitcoin relatively fast. If you are confident about your skills and professionalism, I think it's an interesting goal to have in mind.

Congrats, OP! Quite fulfilling to get paid in some other ways.
Welp, I would love to experience the same thing in my freelancing stuff. I signed up to some sites that allows payment through crypto like LaborX, so far I don't get any hits there just yet due to less jobs in my fields, but meh surely opportunity pops up anytime.

That’s really cool. The first time I got paid in Bitcoin was through a job I got on linkedin.com, I was given an option to either receive my payment through PayPal or through Bitcoin, and I didn’t waste time in choosing Bitcoin. Bitcoin is a really cool invention and it has changed a lot of things on how we operate our finance. And it is usually the best choice for a lot of people, especially myself, because with Bitcoin I’m able to reduce the cost of the transactions I make.

And apart from the cost that is being reduced, another thing is that it makes the transaction to be quick. Unlike other payment methods, you don’t have to wait for days, or have any issue at all with anyone, because you are the one who is in total control of your wallet.

It's a great feeling for you to be paid in BTC. Congratulations to you by the way.

For most of my online career, I was paid via Paypal or Payoneer as a home-based virtual assistant. Until I got into crypto, most of my salary and income were in USDT and BUSD. I remember that the first time I was paid in Bitcoin, it was from a freelance writing gig in a now-defunct e-sports blog.

Until now, I am still grateful for that day when I have been paid BTC for the first time.

All good, but is there a possibility you being payed in crypto more than once? Because that's when things get interesting. And if that, by chance happens, is the BTC pay locked to a FIAT curency (20 dollars in BTC what ever the price of BTC is), or is it agreed upon only as BTC pay? Those are the things I would like to know (obviously, the firat one is the best option)

It is a lump sum up front for licensing and then ongoing maintenance and development.  I said he can recalculate it whenever payment has to be made.  It may go up, it may go down.  I think it is still going down for a while.

Some would say better ever than never, but you have been a member of this forum since 2014 - which means it took you 8 years to receive your first BTC payment for your work - which somehow places the adaptation of the BTC at the speed of a snail's or turtle's step. I hope that you will not have to wait another 8 years for the next payment in BTC Wink

I wan't really looking to get paid in btc.  It was a crypto related project and for a laugh i suggested it.  He said ok so i went with it.

That's a good start already.

I already did the same as you and for sure many are earning also here with the help of Bitcoin and crypto in general. I also earned my first crypto thru bounty campaigns and now in signature campaigns and some other online jobs. There are many jobs online that can pay you not only in Bitcoin but in other coins and its better to get paid with Bitcoin now if you want to accumulate more during the dip Smiley. Good luck with your freelancing job.

We are living with a dream like yours. But one day your dream will come true. We don't have any bitcoin, but I dream if I could get a job. I think maybe someday I will get this dream is always flowing inside
He is doing his best to achieve his dream and now it is starting as the first payments in Bitcoin had already received and this will continue to progress in the days to come, He is lucky because he had skills and ability to  offer here while many of us has no job like what he can offer.

Good to see OP that you are progressing now and since you are member of bitcointalk i know that sooner you'll find the next one to pay you crypto .

Congrats to you, there's really a lot of opportunities related to Bitcoin and cryptocurrency some people are happy to work with it like you and it's really nice to see someone who was happy working with what they like. Some people stick with the job that they don't want and can't do anything about it since they need money. I earn through trading and I can say that I'm happy about it, I'm enjoying trading and at the same time earning from it.

Congratulations on your achievements. You should be proud to earn money from bitcoin and have bitcoin now. If you can do other things by helping people create the apps, you will get more because they will be satisfied with your work. It is just beginning and it needs more things to earn more so you must focus on what you do and I am sure you will achieve the other things. You can promote yourself or join other freelance websites and offer your skills to customers.

It must be a good feeling seeing those Satoshis dropped in your wallet. I remember the first time I got paid in BTC for one of the bounties I did, it felt good and wanted more  Grin bounties of such. Just as some most have advised, this is the time to hold on to it for as long as you can because of the nature on the market, you will definitely enjoy HODLing on to it.  Wink

It's a welcomed development,i appreciate you for your innovations, because is not easy for someone to be creative in nature, and secondly bitcoin is digital currency that is going viral across the world, so it's only few people that reject payment with bitcoin, but since you are crypto guru's or crypto minded you will accept cryptocurrency,.. congrats again for your invention.

Congratulations mate. Even if you don't get payment from other clients in crypto, you can convert the income into bitcoin and keep the bitcoins save with you for the long term.

By the way let us know is this the first time you have got the payment in bitcoin? I am asking this because you are a Sr. Member on the forum and might have got payments in bitcoins from campaigns (If you had joined any before).
