Wow! those birds are just about about as big as these plane trails, what sort of birds are they? They must be at the very least 60m across, I've never seen these types of birds before, do you know their species?

The ISS and 747 are the same width yet the ISS is only 1/4 smaller than the plane against the Moon? For crying out loud the ISS is 400 kms higher up.

How much further would he be need to be down the track to look 1ft shorter, 10mtrs, 20mtrs, 100mtrs? he would be a speck at 1000mtrs I would say

If you dig deep into your pocket for a Canon lens you can resolve a high altitude plane, they've set it up to fly at an altitude with that Nikon lens in mind.
