Assuming that you are simply making a mistake, and not being a troll or deceptive in some way, your quoted post^^ is exactly why you are wrong. People long ago saw anomalies in the simple tests. So they developed complex ones. The complex tests prove emphatically that the earth is a globe, or nearly such.
Forget the simple tests. They are misleading you.

The super-zoom cameras used in the "simple" test are complex new technology, your "but, but, long ago goy" doesn't cut it. We've measured the distance to the horizon with a P900 and it's not consistent with the globe model.
