That's almost like your spinning ball idea of Earth. Place a tennis ball on the table. Take hold of it and turn it one full turn in 24 hours. Is that spinning? You are absolutely right when you say the earth doesn't spin. It turns very slowly.

Fallen bananas prove that the surface of the Earth is curved. Unfortunately they also prove that it has a circumference of, well, about 4 or 5 banana lengths.
Unless you find relatively straight bananas - but then that evidence would contradict my own theory, so I would be tempted to dismiss it without any consideration.
