We see the earth as flat because it is too big for us to see the curve of our planet that's all -_-

It looks flat because it is flat.

This thread is stll alive?  Nomad you can't be real.   You know better, don't you?

Nomad tell me,  why is it summer in December where I live whereas in North America it is winter?   That is, the days are longer  now and get short during July.   It is the opposite in North America.   Why?

Explain to me why the Orion constellation is upside down now since I moved from Canada?  Was my move such a disruptive activity that the cosmos itself was upset?  Observe it.   Is it upside down?

Lastly explain to me why I cannot see Everest if it is the highest point of the Earth?

Science can start with a flat world view but in light of this gross evidence, or more subtle evidence when distances are much smaller than 10000 km,  we reject that and come to another theory that explains these anomalies. That is science.

A circle drawn in a 24 Mpx image will appear as a straight line when you zoom in enough. So a germ on a basketball experiences no detectable curvature.

They won't answer you. I've tried, they can only refute the simplest of arguments for a curved Earth, as soon as things get complicated and you propose some solid evidence they ignore you.

This is true. For example. A transit with a powerful telescope, combined with observations 91 days apart, observations on the sun and on a horizon star, can show the 93 million mile distance to the sun (plus or minus 10%) by trigonometry. Nothing can refute this, since it can be repeated over and over to give a nearly accurate answer. Using a better telescope, and making similar measurements gives the 93 million miles rather accurately.

Hello.

If the Earth is flat (which absolutely isn't), we all would have the same time (e.g daytime all together).
As to curves on the ocean that you might not see, it's a matter of scale, my friend.
Respond with your queries.  Cool Wink

Close up it appears to be sea level. At a distance it becomes apparent that the sea is curved.

Show us where sea level becomes sea curve.

You can't, because it doesn't, so fuck off.

Okay, so maybe I have it backwards.

Get yourself a glass drinking glass. Carefully fill it with water all the way to the top. Then very carefully add some more water. The water will actually hump up above the glace. It will curve at the edges so that it can hump above the glass.

There is the start of your curvature of the water, and the earth. Right in your kitchen.

Cool

I'm willing to bet surface tension leads down some kind of rabbit hole.

Yes, but... the direction of funnel water spin is related to the spin of the globe.    Cool

Galileo Galilei weeps, if that's your only takeaway from my post.
Reason does not appear to be your strong suit.

Liars and frauds, and BobLawblaw is a festering goof twat.

Telling yourself to fuck off is some next-level performance art.

I was reiterating myself with the quote, you moronic pink buffoon.

With any luck, you haven't bred, and likely won't. Please die off soon.

Absolutely fabulous image, Liberace! Is that NASA GoPro or just plain old CGI?

Either way, it's horse shit, you gullible fucking pinhead. There is no curvature.

Water is flat. Earth is flat. It's not complicated. Do your own research.
