I would say lets watch and wait to see how the HODL system works with Eurocoin. We are still changing over to POSP at block 77,000. If the Europecoin works as it should , then I will look into integrating it, but on a MUCH smaller scale. Probably wont go over 40% on the highest end to avoid inflation or even less if so preferred.

If that is the case, it seems similar to my suggestion.. forget what I said 

I have some Hodl and the locked funds appear to be incrementally
increasing through POS? within the locked section of the wallet.
It seems to calculate what the higher interest will be and slowly
approach that amount as time passes. The problem with Hodl coin
is the POS rate for lockups were so aggressively high that there is
concern over mass inflation.

The concept I believe is sound if "CD (lockup)" interest rates were
high enough to  attract locking but, not crazy high.


The accrued interest and accrued value are constantly increasing
to approach the maturation value.

Keeping a close eye on this myself.. Since this is one of the biggest turn offs about the system.. Too many people locking up funds lol..
I remember the same thing with XRA.. At one point there we're just too many people holding/locking coins to gain maximum returns, which caused the chain having issues...
Then again, this issue can easily be solved by having multiple vps's staking in the background as back-up.. with the right settings (block split wise etc) this will keep the chain moving at all time.. Maybe not as fast though, but moving..

An even better option would be to make it possible for "locked" funds to be movable on the same address.. As in, it is allowed to stake (in/out going tx's), but funds cant be send to another address for the locked time period

I'm not 100% sure how HODL works (Havent looked into it very deep) but I assume you lock coins, and receive a higher stake rate in return for the locked coins? If you can adapt that to a higher rate, locked but stake-able coins.. your pretty much there imo.. Just need to make sure funds are locked in the address, instead of an unmoveable period of time

(kind of hard to explain when you're not a native hehe)

So to make it simple:
Lock coins inside an address
make the address stake-only
Make sure the address is not allowed to send out/receive funds to/from a different address until the locked period is over

Many of you know we have close ties to Europe coin. They are launching their own version of HODL. I need to gather more information about it, but here is the basics:


Europecoin will have its own Hodl algo and technology, it will have an own, unique, mechanism named "Bitbreak" (from Bitsend),
that will prevent the blockchain from stopping on low mining support, by lauching a disributed emergency network of micro-miners, from every wallet.

Also should the POS% be lowered again soon? Even though there are much less than 200,000 fly, the buy support is weak. I feel it could be because of the many forks that we had attempting to implement antidump. This is past us now, but I feel many people are not aware. What can we do as a group to improve things? A rebrand? Lower POS? Other suggestions?

Guys I really have proved over and over, that I do the right thing every time, so I am not sure why our price is not stable. Fly will be around for years. Should we lower the POS% even more and reward early adopters? If so, to what %?

So the top 5 holders are getting spammed with a bot , and has been sending hundreds of transactions for .00000001 in an attempt to bloat the wallet , to the point it wont open. Well it doesnt take a rocket scientist yet to know who would do this. Be VERY careful, this is proof this person or persons will stoop to the lowest level.

Well the flycoin community is very much alive. Ive straightened out every issue that fly had. Namely the wallet. The wallet is rock solid and without issues. We will be changing over to POSP at block 77,000. I DO listen to the community, and the community has helped decide the course of Fly. Many thought that it would be best to be on more than one exchange, so I got that accomplished. Many didnt like the antidump system, so we did away with that. Many thought our updates were far too frequent, so My goal is an update every 6 weeks to a year.

Guys here is why the wallet compiling service is so important:

Lets say a dev wants a Mac wallet. We would charge .1 BTC worth of fly. So what will happen is the coin dev will go to the exchange and buy the .1 btc of fly. This will raise the price of fly. The more wallets we do the higher the price of fly. It wont hurt the coin we are working for when the price goes higher because we tell them go buy .1 btc of fly. So that will be our main focus. If you want the price of fly to go higher, there is your answer, but its such a massive job , it will take many people. Please do not advertise on the threads. PM the OP directly. We also pay 10% on a confirmed job. Please see our OP for our many services. We are still sorting out our Android setup. If we work together on this , it will raise the price of fly very fast.

Hi Crunk, the reason we were able to give out fly last time , was because the money came from the fees from staking. Everyone liked the Superfly rewards, but did not like the fees to create it. So we did away with both. What we do now is wallet compiling services. If you find a coin that does not have a mac wallet, please PM the OP and let them know we do mac wallet compiles. If we compile a Mac wallet for them, we give you 10% . A mac wallet is .1 BTC (in fly).
