The rumours linking Mauro Icardi with Real Madrid are still on. Some news source are still claiming that he will be signed by the Spanish side in January. But as far as I can remember Real Madrid refuted these rumours by stating the opposite. I also don't think Ancelotti's priority is to sign a centre-forward at the moment.

You know Alaba has newly got injured and he won't be recovering until the end of the season. Ancelotti talked about this situation and it seems like he will go for a centre-back transfer. They really need one now because Militao is also still injured.  Sad

This reminded me of what the Real Madrid coach said 3 weeks ago:

𝐔𝐏𝐃𝐀𝐓𝐄: Real Madrid will 𝐍𝐎𝐓 sign any player in January, confirms Carlo Ancelotti ⛔️

“Rumours on Icardi or any new forward in January? No… no chance. We planned the squad in summer and that’s it. Everything is good”.

“We’re very happy with Endrick and his progress, so we wait for him here at Real Madrid in July”

source: https://www.instagram.com/p/C0T1PgOIXvJ/

I believe that Real Madrid's management, seeing Barcelona's financial situation, have started to moderate their signings so that they can have the club's entire financial situation under control, thus keeping the players from the current squad and managing well the situation of many injuries that Many of the Real Madrid players are passing through and it is something that is most important to them. I don't see Real Madrid going to the market to take any player even if they are in this bad injury situation, Real Madrid's coach knows his players well and can put them in positions that are not the players' usual positions and even so the coach Real Madrid manages to obtain good results and this is something very visible, we just need to see that Real Madrid is in second place in the table.

🚨 𝐁𝐑𝐄𝐀𝐊𝐈𝐍𝐆: Nuno Espirito Santo signs in as new Nottingham Forest manager until 2026 🌳🇵🇹

source: https://www.instagram.com/p/C1EhKriIcMK/

I had already predicted that if Nottingham Forest lost in the last game, they would fire the coach because Nottingham Forest's situation is not good, they are already very close to the relegation zone and with a sequence of 5 games without victories, nothing was changing with the previous coach, and as there is an open market, so it was the ideal time to hire another coach, so the management of Nottingham Forest chose to bring in the Portuguese coach Nuno Espirito Santo, who has already coached Tottenham, Wolves and Al-Ittihad, At Al-Ittihad he managed to win the Saudi league last season, he was also coach of Porto and won the Portuguese league. In my opinion, Nottingham Forest was a good choice, I hope that Nuno Espírito Santos manages to ensure that Nottingham Forest does not get relegated this season

Thomas Muller recently completed a short-term contract extension with Bayern Munich and he will still be in Die Rotten uniform for one more season. This is clearly a form of his devotion to the team that has made its name on the football scene and his love for Bayern Munich has never disappeared after 14 years in the first team.

Thomas Muller is a product of the Bayern Munich academy and he has never joined another team since arriving at Bayern Munich. It looks like this is the last contract that Bayern Munich can offer him considering that he is already 34 years old and maybe after his contract ends he will also retire at Bayern Munich.
That's an extraordinary dedication to the club that made its name. It's very possible he will retire there, and it doesn't open up the opportunity for other clubs to come and negotiate with him. because it was rumored that Thomas Muller would not get a contract extension, MU wanted to sign him. and I think it may be more than one season if a deal is struck.
but Thomas Muller still wants to be in Munich, which proves that he appreciates and loves being part of the giant Bundesliga club.

Thomas Muller has been an asset to the Bayern Munich team and Germany's national football team. He dedicated his career in the Bayern Munich squad and as you said he is the product of their academy. He is like Marco Reus, Totti, etc. He is a Bayern Munich Legend.

I hope he retires at Bayern Munich if he decides to retire in the next few seasons. I wouldn't want to see him like Ibrahimovich or Gareth Bale or Messi who just joined MLS nor like Ronaldo who joined Saudi League. I hope to see him play only in Bayern Munich's uniform if he keeps playing football in the next few seasons.

It seems Nottingham forest has sacked Steve cooper following a run of one win in 13 games. I guess the club chairman could no long take the loses. Forest have lost five of their last six Premier League games, including last Friday's 2-0 defeat at home by Tottenham. I think he did a good job even though the winnings were not coming easily for him and his team. I remember last season when the team was going close to the red zone, and he managed to keep Forest in the EPL doing so after a 1-0 win at home to Arsenal in May. It’s just unfortunate for him because with another summer of heavy investment from owner he expected a return on investment but good results weren’t coming by and he must have lost patience.

Steve Cooper will go down as one of the most successful Forest managers in recent history. Nuno Espirito has been appointed as the new manager to take over the club. I think he’ll a good coach. He did well weigh Wolves. He had a hugely successful spell with them from 2017-21, leading the club from the Championship to consecutive seventh placed finishes and the quarter-finals of the Europa League in 2020. I expect him to do a good job considering that he has all qualities of players in the team now.

barcelona may go bankrupt if this club is not trying to raise some money to deal with its debt or even FFP. Glad to see that this news has proven that if barcelona has very very bad money management. This is answering my curiosity regarding the condition of club.
I have been aware since a long time ago if barcelona was rarely getting profit from selling the players. The club prefer to let them go away as free agent instead of sell them all before their contract were running out.

Barcelona is just another sevilla which has been putting all of its main players for sale. There will be no exception as long as the player can give barcelona good amounts of money.
Other team may be seeing this as an opportunity to buy barcelona players with cheap price like what happened with sevilla.
The Barcelona players are definitely a little confused, on the other hand they really want to be at this club longer but the club financial condition also seems very worrying. like it or not Barcelona will sell even if they are hungry to let go of important  players. but this means the club also suffered losses because the money from  the sale was allocated to cover debts improve management and also facilities which he said were starting to fail to provide services to players. In my opinion, there is no choice because of  the club risk. Those who want to take a discount are  certainly a rare opportunity. Do De Joung, Raphinha, Fedri and Ferran dare to take this option and choose a club that can guarantee the future.

I understand that these players might have a soft spot for Barcelona in their minds, but I think after all they are professional footballers. And they should definitely look for the best amount of money that they can get. They can of course get a huge amount of money from any other top European clubs. So there is no reason for them to actually stay in Barcelona and be under mental pressure all the time. It is very true that Barcelona can go bankrupt at any given time, to be honest. So it is actually better for them to go to other clubs which will not ask them to take a pay cut from time to time.

In theory at this time Chelsea actually does not lack great players in their squad because for the attack line it is also actually quite qualified with the presence of Pamler, Sterling, Nkunku who can support Jackson but the problem is the difficulty of controlling and making these players as a unit that makes Chelsea's performance unable to develop even with great players.
I agree with this because looking at some of the players they brought in as you mentioned, they do have their own charm and speciality. and it should be noted that some of the players brought in by Chelsea previously had a pretty good track record such as Enzo even though there was more hype about the world cup about this player but he also actually played very well at Benfica before as well as the name Caicedo who even in the previous season he was ogled by a lot of clubs. Because of his performance with Brighton in the last few seasons and for Nkunku, he still hasn't contributed anything because he is hindered by his annoying injury but on the other hand now he has recovered even though he hasn't played officially, hopefully his performance can be the same or even better than before when he was at Leipzig.
What Chelsea need now is not another player but how to make their players more compact so that their erratic performance becomes better.
That's what happens because the new era sometimes not all of them have to change players at the same time and when they fail they have to be replaced again but there must be a process in it, especially for adaptation, chemistry and teamwork so that the new players brought in by Chelsea do not become flops and their performance does not decrease too much.
Currently there are so many players brought in by Chelsea that the situation in terms of chemistry must be disrupted, especially in the problem of teamwork because seeing from the existing list of around 13 players who entered and there are more than 20 people who were removed by Chelsea from all existing players according to local media sources in my country.

Transfer In.
Moises Caicedo (Brighton)
Romeo Lavia (Southampton)
Christopher Nkunku (RB Leipzig)
Cole Palmer (Man City)
Axel Disasi (AS Monaco)
Nicolas Jackson (Villarreal)
Lesley Ugochukwu (Rennes)
Robert Sanchez (Brighton)
Djordje Petrovic (New England)
David Washington (Santos)
Diego Moreira (Benfica B)
Levi Colwill (promotion)
Ian Maatsen (promotion)

Transfer out
Kai Havertz (Arsenal)
Mason Mount (Man United)
Mateo Kovacic (Man City)
Kalidou Koulibaly (Al Hilal)
Christian Pulisic (AC Milan)
Edouard Mendy (Al Ahli)
Ruben Loftus-Cheek (AC Milan)
Ethan Ampadu (Leeds United)
Romelu Lukaku (AS Roma)
Callum Hudson-Odoi (Nottingham Forest)
Diego Moreira (Lyon)
Kepa Arrizabalaga (Real Madrid)
N'Golo Kante (Al Ittihad)
Cesar Azpilicueta (Atletico Madrid)
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang (Marseille)
Tiemoe Bakayoko
Hakim Ziyech (Galatasaray)
Andrey Santos (Nottingham Forest)
Angelo (Strasbourg)
David Datro Fofana (Union Berlin)
Lewis Hall (Newcastle)
Gabriel Slonina (KAS Eupen)
Cesare Casadei (Leicester)
SOURCE

With this, instead of continuing to dismantle players like puzzles, it would be better for Chelsea so that they can make some incoming players have good chemistry and performance because in the end spending money on players will also not have a significant impact if there is no good teamwork in it.

I don't know if Mauro Icardi is an important priority? At the moment the striker is still quite stable, it's just that we always have in my mind is the transfer of Mbappe which is always linked not other players, but it is uncertain who will be recruited until now it is still unclear about the validity of this news.

True, Ancelotti is thinking more about the situation for CB because it is defense that needs to be considered, from the news that Ancelotti said if there is a good CB he will make it happen, it means that it is true that the priority is now to defenders to strengthen Real Madrid's defense.

If you are talking about the old Mourinho from a decade ago, then maybe someone like him would be the right one for that position. But Mourinho has long passed his peak. He isn't as good and as dedicated as he used to be and you can see how he is doing with Roma. The only thing I liked about him is that he refused an offer from Saudi Arabia and did not just leave Roma behind and grab the money.

The very experienced coaches won't go to Manchester United I think as the season is done for them. They are not good enough to compete for anything of importance I think. It is only 5 points to Tottenham, but being behind Tottenham and Newcastle doesn't make me think that they could outplay those two teams at any time this season.
I agree with this because we know in several years in Mourinho's prime he was one of the coaches who could not be denied in terms of performance and leadership for a club even the nickname The Special One was indeed worth pinning to this coach but indeed his prime began to fade at this time due to several conditions such as his behavior which was indeed odd and the emergence of several new coaches who could indeed compete better than Mourinho.
He can indeed be said to still be one of the good enough coaches but indeed his current performance in coaching a club is so pronounced that we cannot force him to become one of the great coaches because all the old ones will be replaced by those who are new.

At the moment it seems that he to the SPL club is still not possible because if he want, from last season when there was already a large enough offer but it was rejected by Mourinho because indeed his ambition is still very big but it does not rule out the possibility for next season if in the end his performance does not increase at his current club.

We can only wait and see. Manchester united will not be solving the problem as long as ten hag was there coz he was the real problem of united. Im not saying united was bad but ten hag makes it bad. The match against liverpool has told us how manchester united was playing as a medium tier club in EPL that goes fully defensive strategy against it. The right thing is manchester united should sack ten hag and this is the best thing that can be done by united.
Ten hag was not suitable anymore to coaching manchester united and the club needs to do something. MU was getting draw against liverpool at anfield.

The only best idea to recruit the new coach. This is the only possible thing to be done by united. I don't even see other possible solution to improve manchester united to be even better.
MU needs to get a new coach that has brilliant idea like mourinho which had given united an europa league trophy in the past. Mu doesn't need a problematic coach like ten hag.

I can't even believe that barcelona is now on the same situation like what sevilla did in the last season.

Barcelona are reportedly open to offers "for all players" amid their continued financial struggles, as three stars in particular face winter exits. The inability to secure an investor increases the likelihood of Barcelona executing player sales this winter. They raised around €103 million ($113m/£89m) in the summer from the sale of Ousmane Dembele, Antoine Griezmann, Frank Kessie, Nico Gonzalez, Abde Ezzalzouli, and Trincao but need more funds to balance their books. Hence they remain open to listening to offers for all players.

~

The last time I heard news about Barcelona's debt there was something in the region of a billion and three hundred million. This amount seems catastrophic, but in fact, with a budget of 800 million and the cost of the club in the region of 4.5 billion, this is not a debt that leads to immediate bankruptcy. Using an asset worth 4.5 billion as collateral you will refinance the debt in any bank. Even if Barcelona completely loses all its players, as a brand it will be worth about that much money. If now their debt is not at least increasing, then their situation is not so bad.

The only thing that can now lead to the imminent bankruptcy of Barcelona is if the Spanish prosecutor finds Barcelona guilty of bribing a referees (this is not only an internal matter in football, but also a question of dirty money, tax evasion, etc.). But judging by how slowly the case is developing, it is unlikely that anyone is interested in it ending with a fair decision. Most likely, it will be considered for 5 years and then closed due to the expiration of the statute of limitations. Classic  Grin

As for Barcelona's irrational transfer policy, this is not a matter of choice - because of their financial problems, they take from the market not what they want, but what they can afford, and I will say even differently: they take something but cannot impose their conditions. Even City could not impose a huge amount on Haaland as a release clause. Barcelona's possibilities are even smaller in this regard.

In general, the fate of Barcelona now depends not on sporting results, but on how things will develop in the courts/prosecutor's office. But since this is part of the Spanish economy, the judges are unlikely to be harsh  Roll Eyes

In the transfer market last summer, there was a lot of speculation and news about big clubs wanting Osimhen. But in the transfer market yesterday, the Napoli club set a very high transfer price for Osimhen. I forgot how much it was, but after the club set the transfer price for Osimhen, since then all the clubs that reportedly wanted Osimhen started to back off and didn't dare make an offer. And it's possible that Aurelio De Laurentiis as owner of Napoli will make the same strategy so that Osimhen is not approached by other clubs who want to recruit him.

But I personally also hope that Osimhen moves from Napoli. Because I don't like clubs that don't really respect their players. I saw the news that there was a stir about Osimhen's conflict with the Napoli club. And I think at that moment Osimhen's pride must have been hurt. But I also can't blame the entire Napoli club in this case. Because I think it is the work of an irresponsible staff member. Because before this incident I had heard that Osimhen would not be in a hurry to leave Napoli. He probably dreams of playing in the EPL. But it looks like that's not in the near future. At least that's what I gathered from Osimhen's conversation at that time. But I don't know what Osimhen's attitude is now after several conflicts that occurred there. Is it still in its original position or has it changed?

I'm very impressed how the Napoli board pulled  fine stunt to keep their star player in the team for a few more season, they're fully aware that Osimhen is a popular demand and they could lose him if nothing is done and that's why they increased his release clause to fend off bidders coming for his demand and now if he's to leave Napoli are ready to sell him to a very serious bidder and for a high price, well since his clause has been increased I think they'll be demanding for about €180 or more if I'm not mistaken.

Well that's a very huge amount for one player and there are only few clubs that could afford that amount, however for Napoli to fend off bidders it means Osimhen is very valuable to them and need him to be there for a while until they find a suitable player for his replacement. I also feel Osimhen should leave Napoli asides being disrespect he needs to go to a club that would offer him an opportunity of winning a major trophy.

It looks like this is the last contract that Bayern Munich can offer him considering that he is already 34 years old and maybe after his contract ends he will also retire at Bayern Munich.

He was old enough but he is still good. Extending his contract till 2025 was the best decision for him. It's caused by he can still even play for bayern till the next years. I remember that the rumor about manchester united was targeting this guy and this news has proven that if it was a fake news.
There was no furhter development regarding that rumor and i have marked it as fake news. glad to see mueller was taking the right decision by extending his contract much longer than before. Im very happy by seeing it happen.
Mueller was making the right decision instead of going to the other club since he was old enough to play in the new club. Saudi pro league club shall put him as the next target. It's caused by he has so many experiences.
Seeing him to play in the saudi pro league along with lewandowski will be a very good thing for sure. Saudi pro league shall have included him into the list of players to be bought soon.
Mueller was making a good movement for his career. He needs only to think where to retire. Im sure muller has been considering it so many times.

They really need to get one even if it's for the remaining six months ahead. They don't look good with Joselu, so getting Mauro Icardi seem like a great idea to me. I do think that, there'll be a level of validity attached to the news. He use to be a very good goalscorer before he left Inter Milan years ago. Injury has also affected him.

I also think that, they should place so much importance in getting a new defender for depth on loan to replace David Alaba. The use of Tchouameni Aurelien as a center back don't seem appealing to me at all in the slightest way. For the next six months, a new defender to conver up for David Alaba should make proper sense.

Goodnews for Chelsea fans

Today Christopher Nkunku has made his debut in Chelsea FC today against Newcastle United. I can say that the appearance of Nkunku was accompanied by luck. This is because Chelsea were on 1 goal down against Newcastle United when Nkunku entered the game in the second half.

All things being good Nkunku scored his penalty kick after Tripiers expensive defensive error gave Chelsea and equaliser that stretched the match to penalty shoot out. It was then that Trippier concluded his bad function by also missing PK. Will the return of Nkunku begin a new and desirable Chelsea?

Nkunku is a nice player and it is time for him to fully recover from the bad times he has now behind him hopefully. The guy has some great speed and is technically impressive and physically highly resistant. A very flexible striker, which is what Chelsea can need desperately. Chelsea is still only at 1.5 goals per game, which is not enough for a team like them. But it wasn't for a lack in quality that they sucked hard for so long now.
Actually, I think an average of 1.5 goals per game is not a bad statistic. However, they concede too many goals and that's where the problem lies. Nkunku is an effective player in scoring goals and is just recovering from his injury. I'm sure he will be useful to Chelsea. Chelsea can be a great team, they just need to pay attention to a few small points.

It’s time for them to work with the players they have, it’s clear pissing money up the wall without a plan has not served them well. Pochettino needs to earn his corn.

The Blues have indeed become a laughing stock this year after wasting more than 1 billion euros on players who have so far not lived up to the expected results.

The issue is that no progress has been made under Pochettino. He took charge of a team that finished 12th in the Premier League last season and that is where he is again under the Argentine manager.

Chelsea have also accumulated just 39 points in total in 2023 – the worst result for a team that has always been present in the Premier League. Boehly may have overseen the biggest spending spree ever, but the net result is a historically bad football team.

Money definitely doesn't buy everything.
Even Barcelona did better.
If in the end Chelsea can't achieve the expected results and the results are the same as last season, it could be said that they are just wasting their money on players whose quality is no different, even Chelsea performance this season and last season still looks the same. Pochettino cannot make changes for the better even though he has made a change in players, maybe in the winter transfer market Chelsea only wants to recruit 1 striker who can be relied on because Chelsea really need a striker who can bring change to the team.

And the striker who is always associated with Chelsea is Victor Oshimen but we don't know for sure because Victor Oshimen doesn't seems to want to join Chelsea considering Chelsea condition is not that good when compared to Napoli, maybe Chelsea will think about other option if in the end Victor Oshimen doesn't could be recruited by Chelsea.

It’s time for them to work with the players they have, it’s clear pissing money up the wall without a plan has not served them well. Pochettino needs to earn his corn.
Todd Boehly prolly doesn't understand these things, he basically thinks all he has to do is spend money and then Chelsea become automatically successful, the investments that the club has made in the last three transfer windows have been massive, but despite that Chelsea are still struggling so much and they are 10th position in the EPL table.

I don't know if Pochettino can take Chelsea out of this situation, but the club can at least let him try. Pochettino needs to have a stronger influence in the dressing room, he also has to identify the players he needs if they are going to spend in January, when a manager selects a player he wants, it is because they see that the player can help his team play in the way he wants. Poch needs more freedom and Todd should give him space.

Splashing cash without a good purpose and goal to achieve is such a stupid thing to see happening right now with Todd Boehly and Chelsea. He can't be doing all of these transfer alone. He should get a sporting directors and Co's that understands the job ( Europeans )
If he does that, then they can start accessing and bringing in players that will work in line with the plans of the club.

The players are too small and has no experience, they should be mixed up with experience so they can learn and complement themselves.
( Have you forgotten Makalele and John Mikel Obi? One was experienced and the other was young and stronger learning from experience) Todd Boehly should learn otherwise it'll take long for them to bounce back.

Lastly, I must say Mauricio Pochetino is not that man for Chelsea Football Club.
