Manchester City is planning to sign Chelsea's full back and captain, Reece James, in the summer transfer window. Pep's main focus is to produce a replacement for Kyle Walker as soon as possible because Kyle Walker will be 33 years old now, and in the future, there is a fear that he will not be able to continue the form and morale that he is performing now. For this reason, Pep believes that he will bring 20-year-old Reece James, Chelsea's full-back, and make some new upgrades to the team so that if there is some weakness left, then his shortcoming will be fulfilled. And anyway, I think Reece James's style of play and the new element that a player needs are there.
So Manchester City's decision to sign Reece James to replace Kyle Walker will be based on improvement. Everyone is aware of the performance of Reece James and how he performs well in big games. For example, we have the UCL final of Chelsea vs. Manchester City, in which he had a very good performance. So I think Manchester City boss Pep no longer likes Kyle Walker to play anymore and likes Reece James to play instead.
What do the rest of you think? Will this transfer be better for Manchester City or worse because the biggest problem with Reece James is injury, which has been presented to him repeatedly? He has recently recovered from a long injury.
Reece James is a very good player and one of the best in his position and that's why he's been getting alot of attention from several big clubs, I also think he'll make a very good replacement for Kyle walker who's getting advanced in age and would need a replacement soon, the Chelsea captain is one of the most preferred candidates based on his experience over the years amd style of play, he could give those good crosses like Kelvin Debruyne does, however I've come across a news before now that Realmadrid are also interested in him, and I believe they'll give Manchester City a though competition to get Reece James.
Those two clubs are financially capable to get James and I believe it would be tough for him to decide cause both City and Realmadrid are currently the two strongest clubs in the world, the question is would James want to play for Pep Guardiola and remain in the EPL or would he want to continue his career elsewhere? Only time will tell.
