This summer their president said it wants 400 mil for Osimhen.

I doubt he will leave for less than 150.
400 million? maybe he has lost his mind by setting the price that high or it's just his tactic so that no club will make an offer because he sees this striker as a valuable asset that must be well looked after by the club, but I'm pretty sure no club is willing to buy at that high a price even only for the price of 150 million as you mentioned because his value is not more than 100 million, especially since this season there has been a decline in his performance which of course his appearance will be the benchmark for any club that wants to buy him.
They lost the opportunity to sell him at a high price last season because at that time several clubs were reportedly interested in him, or indeed it was all just rumors.

over price, if the selling price is 400 million, no one will buy it.
Even 150 million is still expensive and difficult to sell, except for stupid clubs like Manchester United, a rich club that wants to spend its money by buying players at over price.
because 150million same price with mbape and haland , And more expensive than Hary Kane
I think Victor Osimhen transfer fees with 400 million euro is over values and not any crazy teams want spent much money for signing one player only with that amount they can get more than four players with top qualities level. Harry Kane transfer fees 100 million euro and he has most experienced than Victor Osimhen and Erling Haaland with consistency performance just have values under 100 million euro.
Realistic with Victor Osimhen values under 150 million euro but if he wants play for Saudi Arabia clubs seems there are any teams want to sign him.
Difficult find top european team will pay most expensive transfer fees for Victor Osimhen above 150 million euro and they will waiting until his contract expiry than have spent much fees transfer.

The 400 million transfer fees will not even cross the minds of the crazy rich clubs. That is simply way too pricey for Osimhen. Osimhen is not Mbappe, Haaland or Kane. But we understand that De Laurentiis just wants to inform the rich clubs that 140 million euros is the fair release price for Osimhen. That is an insane price yet perhaps those crazy rich clubs will take it. Chelsea and Arsenal are currently at the top of the list of potential clubs that want to acquire Osimhen.

Some do not like him and his reputation of being hard to bargain. But this is a win for De Laurentiis renewing Osimhen and a pricey gain from the possible transfer.

Really it's a fantastic figure that the club wants, but recently Osimhen has agreed to a new contract that will soon be completed at the beginning of 2024 in addition to Victor Osimhen will experience a fairly high salary increase, even the media said he had the highest salary in the history of the Napoli club.

This means Chelsea will not have the opportunity to buy Osimhen if he extends his contract until 2026, the clause value is €130M according to sky sport but it could be even higher.

It seems that Napoli are locking Osimhen up to prevent him from leaving for another club.

150 million, the number is too high. Napoli offering this price means they don't want to sell Osimhen. No club will spend that much money to recruit this striker. Really, only the rich French guy PSG can spend that amount of money to get Osimhen. With the current situation where Mbappé will leave, they can make some money from selling him to recruit Osimhen. Osimhen will be the perfect replacement for their central striker.

I can understand why they wanted that much money for Osimhen. When they saw that the Saudi Professional League paid these absurd prices for players, it meant that there were obviously teams with a lot of money. If you take PSG and what they got for Neymar, they could easily afford 150 million for a player like Osimhen. I think that was the plan Napoli had. The same became a rumor when there was an offer of 172 million euros for Salah and some people thought that this could enable Liverpool to pay the transfer fee for a player like Mbappe. The prices are irrational, out of control and Napoli thought they could benefit from it if they decide to sell Osimhen. But it would be circular reasoning as afterwards every club knows that Napoli now has the money.

It seems that Napoli are locking Osimhen up to prevent him from leaving for another club.
It is clear that Napoli have reached an agreement on a new contract with Osimhen which makes the assumptions of many people who think that Osimhen will go to another team not seem to be true because Osimhen will sign a new contract with Napoli. I think this will frustrate Chelsea again because they are so interested in recruiting Osimhen but Osimhen prefers to stay with Napoli by extending his contract. I think this deal will certainly make Osimhen focus 100% on Napoli and there will be no more buzz with speculation about his future.

So Chelsea will therefore try to turn to another striker in this season's transfer window and it seems likely that Vlahovic will be their diversion if they don't plan to disrupt Osimhen. Chelsea need a new striker and I am sure they will be able to recruit quality players this season, even several names have started to be linked with them recently. Let's just wait and see if Pochettino will be given fresh funds to buy more players in the January transfer window.

Talking about Barcelona and some players in this team, it seems they should say goodbye to their player Oriol Romeu because Girona wants their player back in the team.
Oriol Romeu joined Barcelonato as be replacement for Sergio Busquets and this player had a good performance during that time, 885 minutes in 17 games, and one assist is all he did for Barcelona using the time when he was playing for Xavi and his team so far. But Girona wants to have Oriol Romeu back in the team.
We can understand if Girona management wants Oriol Romeu to return to Girona squad because they need more player in the midfield line to ensure the squad depth in a good condition. Girona is competing for the title of La Liga now, they seem to finish in UCL zone this season. If Girona plays in UCL for the next season, they need to have a bigger squad. Girona needs more experienced players, Oriol Romeu is one of experienced midfielders. When Xavi wants to sign him, he must have a big reason about the quality. Girona doesn't want to lose Oriol Romeu, they need him to strengthen their squad.

I think Osimhen could even play for Barca instead of Lewandowski, who is out of form. Of course, he has said before that his dream is the Premier League. Therefore, Chelsea or Manchester United can be considered as teams where he can be more successful. I think he will leave Napoli at the end of the year.
I'm sure if Osimhen has the interest to play in Barcelona. So, it will be a great decision if Osimhen decides to choose Barcelona. However, I am not sure if Barcelona has the ability to pay the transfer fees. As far as I know, Napoli wants €200m for Osimhen. If Barcelona is ready to pay €200m, Osimhen will choose Barcelona and he may forget to play in EPL.

That is such a huge price to ask for. He must have done that to sell him at a price not less than 150 million as you’ve predicted. This will also drive away the interest of some top clubs. I am sure he will consider this offer but not to a much reduced amount less than the 150 million. Although any club that is so much interested to sign him, 150 million won’t be an issue for them to buy him if they are fully prepared for it.
A fantastic price and I'm sure no team will be able to waste a large amount of money on a player, even Osimhen performance this season is not as impressive as last season so big teams will think as best as possible to recruit him. For Napoli, of course they set a higher price to be able to keep Osimhen from leaving to another team. He is still an important part of the Napoli squad this season even though his performance is not very good, but he can cause a lot of problems for the opposing defense.

Well, Chelsea is very interested in recruiting Osimhen, they even tried it in the last summer transfer window but it didn't work because Napoli asking price was quite high. Well, this is just speculation that is developing and I am sure that Napoli will try their best if they are really looking for a profit from selling Osimhen.

Chelsea will not back down easily due to the high cost placed on Osimehn. If they can sell for at least 150 million, Chelsea will be willing to pay that amount without hesitation because it is a reasonable price to pay to have Osimehn in the squad. The deal could be extended if Napoli seeks a much higher price than 200 million for this player and this ends up being a deal that does not end as soon as expected. This player's price is simply to have a good chance of having a good bargaining margin and settling for their intended price when selling him. Napoli is a fantastic team, but Osimehm should leave the club now if he needs to explore and try out new leagues to boost his football career globally.

that makes sense since osimhen has been rumored to extend his contract with napoli soon but it was a setback for him. He was choosing to stay instead of getting more experience in another club. I would not be surprised to see that how their president is changing his price again but it seems like that there will be a price to be inserted in new release clause of him which will be around 100m in the new contract. Let's see how it will be going on. Osimhen was not willing to make other team becomes so difficult to get him.

No doubt that if its president was doing crazy thing like so many times napoli president being very inconsistent with the price of osimhen. It was saying 150 then 250 and 300 or even a half of billions but it was going back again to the 200.
The inconsistentcy owned by its president has proven that if the club is not yet ready to losing osimhen from the club. Napoli was osimhen centric, once osimhen shows bad performance then napoli was also doing it too.

Let's see how many times napoli president will be changing osimhen price again.

I feel surprised that Victor Osimhen has secured a new contract with the club for him to stay until 2026 remembering an uncomfort situation that he experienced at Napoli a while ago. But It's great news for Napoli fans and football enthusiasts. The fact that Napoli is willing to make him one of the highest earners in the club's history reflects the recognition of his talent and contributions. This contract extension not only provides stability but also sends a positive message to both the player and the fans about the club's commitment to future success.

The timing of this announcement, especially after six months since Napoli won Serie A, might indeed be related to the upcoming January transfer window. It's understandable that a club make such decision to secure key players, especially when there's potential offers from other clubs. Osimhen's stellar performances may have attracted interest, pushing Napoli to act swiftly to ensure his continued commitment to the team.
Regardless of the loopholes Osimhen faced for a few weeks with Napoli, he still found so much belief in them and he'sore or less the fans' favorite too. So the news of his contract extension was definitely soothing to the team and fans too. Now it's certain that they'd keep seeing and benefiting from his unique style of football. He's being a key man at the Italian side and it was although very much unlikely for them to let him slip off their arm. He's just got more impacts to make.

To him it feels like a good decision he's made no doubt.  With the new boss and his new strategies he's got for the team, it'd definitely pace ways for the forward man. Congratulations to him on his recent CAF award and it's definitely an encouragement for greater heights achievements, there are more to come if he continues to work hard.

If Osimehn is offered a lot of money, Napoli may feel like the yare in trouble as well. Why? I mean they are the ones offering that contract, so why would they be in trouble after offering the contract themselves? Well simply put they do not want to lose him for free and that means the yare going to try to their best to sign him, even if it means they will overpay him.

After getting his contract done, then it means it's time for them to end up with a sale as well, because they can't afford to keep him with a high salary if it's too high, and they will not want to lose him for free neither, which means they will sign him for an amount they can't afford and then try to sell him for a lot of money whenever they can to get rid of his salary while still making some money.

That’s a smart move by them. The news came as a shock to me and I felt they should be more to this just happening like that without any prior signs of it happening. No club will want to lose a great player like Osimehn to free transfer, they will do everything possible to get some good percentage from his sale. Without this contract renewal, they won’t get the chance to sell him for an higher price. If they’ve agrees to sign him for a good price, they should do that and not play trick with people, if they are caught that it was only done because of the higher fees they will want to pay him and not for a true contract extension, the club and players will be in big trouble by FIFA. He will be having a new release clause which can confirm what we think the team has planned for this unforeseen event that is about to take place.

It was not true. Osimhen will not leave from the club. You can read this news first https://www.goal.com/en/lists/victor-osimhen-chelsea-napoli-transfer-new-contract/bltb068810c523b028e

Osimhen is likely extending his contract with napoli instead of leaving to other club. It's a setback for him caused by he will always be playing for napoli without even think to get new experience to improve his skill.

This is the main problem owned by osimhen as he was lacking in exploring his potential to work under various coaches. forgot a rumor about him to go to the barcelona caused by it was fake rumor.

Yes the African player of the year Victor Osimhen is ready to sign a contract extension with the club till 2026 with a club breaking wages for him. Although I wanted him to explore other options but if he feels good Napoli then i wish him well, a young player like that needs a place he cherish to been able to develop his game. Even if Osimhen ends his career playing the remaining games as Napoli player I wouldn’t see anything bad there, they have been great players that didn’t change team and they are regarded as club legends, but layers like Giggs, Totti and Paul scholes to mention a few went on to stay in the same team for their entire career and they went onto be club legends

By principle, both parties already made a deal. They are only waiting for the contract to be made and then signed. Thus it appears to be that he will remain at Napoli because once the agreement becomes official the transfer fee will turn out to be pricey.

Chelsea is the leading club keen on taking Osimhen. The agreement news is a significant blow for Chelsea because Osimhen is one of the best strikers that anyone could hope to find in the transfer market right now. The club can either push ahead and gamble spending a hundred million in taking Osimhenand or pick another striker in the market.

Yeh but his presitent is a clown.

Years ago he lost like 200 mil from missing the sales of Cavani and Koulibaly.

I'm not surprised if he will do the same here.

He can play anywhere including Barcelona but the problem is can Barcelona sign Osimhen?
Seeing the situation that is happening now, I'm not even sure Barcelona can do that and spend more than 100 million just for a player unless with some syaeat such as installments or free transfer players that they have to think again because the salary burden that will be faced will be very large which we know that now they are still hampered by FFP because the cash flow is too over.

It does not mean to demean Barcelona's current condition but reflecting on the previous Raphinha case where Barcelona had problems with Leeds which even only a few months later the problem was resolved due to Barcelona's difficulty paying Raphinha in full this is the real answer that Barcelona's condition from a financial point of view is very difficult and now linking Osimhen with Barcelona in conditions like this could be a boomerang too even though the FFP threat is not too concerned because of some of the advantages Barcelona has but still they must also realize that their finances are still bad to bring Osimhen to Camp Nou.
The financial situation of Barcelona at the moment doesn't require an irrational spending. It requires careful consideration and study too. Barcelona needs to get out of the situation fast and so they wouldn't dare trade their chances. They've got eyes on some players who are or will also be willing to join them but they just can't squeeze out that funds because it'll lead to another jeopardy.

It's so sad that for the mean time, they'll be left with just free transfer options or low budgeted players. Adding a high rated player in the team would also mean a careful study of his salary incentives and finding a plan that would befit this player and I don't think any player of that stance, would want his salary structure reviewed. The best thing for Barcelona is just endurance whilst finding quick means out of this situation so they'd be back to acquiring the best guys in the game. I'm sure anyway that that's definitely what will be done immediately they're out of this phase.

I think the fear is also due to the fact that they have bought very expensive players over the last few years, but they have not been able to play and they have effectively just wasted money. So I think it's best to buy inexpensive players who have good potential rather than wasting huge sums of money.

Joao Felix performance does seem unsatisfactory, he may not be the kind of striker who score a lot of goals for his clubs, while Xavi Hernandez need a striker who has more quality than that and what is certain is that Barcelona will think carefully if they want to recruit him, which is not worth the price of €80 million for recruiting a striker like Joao Felix is a very expensive price,~
Indeed. If we consider the number of goals or assist made by Felix, he doesn't seem already contributing a lot for Barcelona. Xavi must think again to spend €80 million for signing Felix. I agree with you, €80 million seems too expensive for signing Felix. Moreover, Felix isn't a typical player who can make many goals in every season. Xavi needs another player who can guarantee many goals, Felix still isn't the best option for this matter.

I thinks Barcelona will choose another option in the transfer market. It look like Barcelona won't spending much money to recruited players considering his dire financial condition.
Well, you're right. Xavi seems prefer to sign a player like Osimhen, L. Martinez, or Mbappe if they need to spend huge amount of money. €80 million isn't a small amount of money, Barcelona must have many options with that money. Sure, Barcelona probably gets a better player with €80 million. So, it is unlikely to sign Felix if Atletico Madrid sets €80 million for the price.
