Barcelona may be differ. It has different opinion regarding felix. I was perfornally disagreed if barcelona is keen to make him as a permanent transfer but who knows. We needs also to put everything into the different level right now.
Barcelona needs to compete with the strong club and it must also start to do regeneration for its club. The only problem if barcelona was only targeting the expensive players to be bought and this is the problem since club has no good financial condition at this moment.
I would like to see barcelona to consider girona's winger rather than felix. That guy is overrated and overvalued.

Joao Felix performed admirably after joining Barcelona, and his efforts will be rewarded in the future. We shouldn't be concerned with his ability to score more goals or not in the frontline; what matters is that he is very valuable in the frontline and contributes to the majority of his teammate’s goals.

Xavi Hernandez understands what he requires and is not making the wrong decisions in making Joao Felix a permanent player of the team. Since the player is also interested in playing for the team, he will perform even better than he is playing now for Barcelona.

Some players simply require new management and a new coach, and they are not necessarily bad players. The coach and possibly the environment in which a player plays are among the factors that will motivate him to perform better and contribute more to the team rather than dismissing him frequently for lack of performance.

Barcelona have had a crisis in their goal machine this season because they rely on Lewandowksi for every goal and when he is not at his best it is difficult for other players to score. The same thing has been shown by Felix where he has been very trusted by Xavi this season as a player who can make a lot of changes in their front line but in fact he has not shown a big enough contribution. Because in the 13 matches that Felix has played he only managed to contribute 2 goals and 2 assists. So, I don't think Xavi will decide quickly whether they will make Felix's status as a Barcelona player permanent or will send him back to Atletico Madrid when the loan period is over.

Barcelona has not yet 100% recovered from the financial crisis they are experiencing, of course they will use every budget as best as possible to build the squad. So there is a big possibility that if Felix fails to shine Barcelona will send him back to Atletico Madrid and in the second case Atletico Madrid will suffer big losses because Felix's selling value will drop drastically due to poor performance. Apart from that, we'll see whether Felix can maximize the quality he has because Xavi still really trusts him to be the starter in every match.

He already played 13 matches in La Liga, he scored 2 goals and gave 2 assists. In UCL he played 5 matches, scored 3 goals and 1 assist. According to this stats, I agree that it looks not a really impressive. Even, the performance in La Liga can be categorized "unsatisfying" because there are no significant contribution from him yet. We can't conclude that he is good for Barcelona based in 1-2 matches only.

If Felix can't improve more his contribution for Barcelona, I don't think Xavi wants to spend a big money for Felix transfer fees. Barcelona management also won't considers to spend more than his market value. So, I even think it is quite doubtful if Xavi wants to pay the transfer fees more than €50m. So, it seems impossible if Atletico Madrid expects €80m from Barcelona.

I think in some years his love will finalise and I think Madrid will have the perfect squad back again. Mbappe is also a good signing but there are lot of uncertainties around him. We have seen earlier also how close he was with his move but then again things changed in a snap. They are only missing a striker but there is no rush as they will be having that soon in next season hopefully.

I think injury to Nick Pope has made them look after a very strong goalkeeper. Nick Pope have been exceptional for the Magpies and injury of Pope has made a huge dent in their squad. I think someone like Karius can be considered as a temporary change or in case of short term injury but I don't think it's a great choice for long run. Buying another goalkeeper will also be a waste as when Pope will return it will be hard to deal with excess goalkeepers then. I think best option is to see if there are some good goalkeeper in other team sitting on the bench and sign them for a short term or on loan.

I respect Loris Karius and I think he has been unfairly treated sometimes, but his quality isn't good enough for the Premier League. The mistakes he made in the Champions League when they lost the final against Real Madrid were extremely controversial as there may have been issues with his health after he got attacked by Ramos, but those mistakes burned into my mind and those were not the only mistakes. I think he could be a temporary solution as you said, or maybe he is able to surprise everyone and to play flawless for a long enough time. But if Newcastle has to go without Pope for 4 months, it is probably better to be on the safe side here and add another goalkeeper. But finding one for long term planning is never easy.
