Through its official statement, Real Madrid has announced a contract extension for Federico Valverde until 2029. As an important asset for Real Madrid, they want to continue to retain the services of their key players for a longer time and Federico Valverde didn't need to think long to agree to the signing. There is no doubt about Federico Valverde's love and he is the midfielder most interested in by several English teams such as Liverpool and Manchester United. Real Madrid protected this player by releasing a clause of 1 billion euros so that no team could touch him in the slightest. Apart from that, as a potential future captain for Real Madrid, Federico Valverde is of course the right player to carry out this task.
In fact, Federico Valverde has not been seen making big contribution this season, but last season he was a player who could be relied on because of his contribution as midfield player.
However, Federico Valverde is indeed an asset for Real Madrid because he is still young and is very likely to develop into a better player in the future.
Contract extension is one of the strategies carried out by Real Madrid to be able to make more profitable amount of money, if another team really wants him because Real Madrid will not get anything if he moves as free agent.

How to bring Manchester United back to their glory:
1. The Glazer's family need to sell Manchester United to the rich person e.g. Sheikh Jassim.
2. Sack Ten Hag, hire top manager.
3. Sell useless players, sign top players.
In the next 3-5 years, we will see Manchester United can be as strong as Manchester City or Arsenal.
Yes the 3 ways you said is something that I have in mind too. In the first point I wouldn't say who they should sell to, but they should sell to someone who is serious about managing the club.
The second point, I think there are many people who would think like that.
In the third point, besides they have to bring in top players, they also have to start regenerating, because that will be their foundation for the future. And now many top clubs are doing that, we can see the changes made by Arsenal, Real Madrid's regeneration in La Liga and many more.
Not only in the third method, but all of these methods have big opportunity to change Manchester United for the better.
Firstly, Sheikh Jassim wealth means Manchester United has large budget to find players and coaches they can really rely on.
Second, Ten Hag is not worthy to coach Manchester United and now it is time for him to be replaced with another coach who is more qualified and capable of bringing about change.
Thirdly, there are too many Manchester United players who are not very useful, especially the young players they have who cannot change the quality of this squad's game.
I agree with what @Despairo said
