Actually in terms of age they are still not too old but indeed Barcelona will do this as a form of elimination as well as improving their financial condition which is still not showing signs of stability so that when some players whose contacts begin to run out and contributions to Barcelona are minimal because they lose in the competition then surely they will be discarded to minimise the salaries of the players as well as the stability of their cash balance which is still under FFP supervision.
There are a few players like Balde or Cancelo who could be options and of course Kounde and Araujo on the other side as replacements for Marcus Alonso and Sergi Roberto so it is difficult to keep players who are not really needed even if they have considerable playing experience.

There will be no teams who will be interesting to sign those players. Their contracts were very close to end and i see no reason for other team to pursuit them all. The other team just need to wait a bit longer to get them all for free.
Barcelona is also decreasing its salary cap by losing those two. Barcelona is also feeling paying them all with huge salary is also adding more burden to the salary cap. That's also one of main reason why barcelona was not interesting to extend their contracts.
It's the time for saudi pro league to recruit them all with cheap price or free. I think that those guys will far better to go to the saudi pro league club instead of stay even longer in the club.
Barcelona needs to get more money to recruit the new players again. This is the main problem faces by barcelona at this moment caused by the ability to recruit the new player being limited due to the lack of money owned by the club.

Their salary aren't a problem, they might accept to lower their salary if Barcelona want them, but the problem is they're not good anymore and it's time for Barcelona for looking a better player.

I won't be surprised to see them joining Saudi Pro League, despite they're rarely playing, but being ex-Barcelona players surely make Saudi Arabia will consider to sign them.

Maybe that is true considering that there are so many players from Barcelona who are willing to accept salary cuts, but another reason to provide a platform for other young players is definitely also a consideration that Barcelona must make. I wouldn't be surprised at all, even if this rumor were true. after all, Sergi Roberto can no longer follow Barcelona's developments and games. There is a need for the younger players in the team to be given an opportunity in the club. Barcelona has transited from a club with old players to a club now with younger players who are trying as much to live up to the expectations and standards of the club, so they need to be given the opportunity. Also this is also part of offloading extra weight from the team. Now Real's position is strong: they have assembled a squad that can dominate in the coming years. I feel the best option Mbappe has right now has to be to land in Spain but with less than 7 months left on his contract and the feud between him and his club, with no concrete interest from Spain he has no option than to search else where for a club not just to play for the fun, and money but also to gain recognition both locally and internationally and that’s majorly possible whilst he plays in Europe.

In the Spanish Side we’ve got some quality clubs like FC Barcelona, Real Madrid and preferably they’ll be fit for Mbappe’s play style but there’s still quite a lot of time and as the trend goes in the world of football ‘it’s not over till it’s finally over’; let’s see what the future has in stock for the young French Star Kylian Mbappe, there's possibility that he might still land in Spain probably Realmadrid.

If I understand correctly, Mbappe will be able to conduct official (and not secret) negotiations with Real this winter. And I heard Real is ready to sign him (in the summer) only if he signs a preliminary agreement in the winter (a completely reasonable demand after Mbappe has already cheated once). There is no point in a winter transfer since Mbappe has already started playing this season in the Champions League with PSG and therefore he will not be able to play for Real Madrid.
