While some of us wants to see Vlahovic reported transfer to Chelsea materialize, a question that I'm yet to get the answer is does Chelsea really need Vlahovic?
With Nicolas Jackson and Christopher Nkunku at Chelsea who wouldn't be playing in any European this season, I think the club doesn't need another top striker at the moment. If Juventus really wants the services of Lukaku, then they should sign him without including Vlahovic to the deal
Given his low price and lack of inclusion in last season's top striker rankings, some Chelsea supporters believe Nicolas Jackson is not qualified to serve as the team's primary striker. Jackson was very impressive in the preseason games, and with Nkunku providing him with tremendous support, I believe Chelsea's attacking options have been resolved, and Chelsea's season is already in good hands. Jackson is a decent striker who has the potential to become one of the best strikers in the world in the years to come.
I don't see why they would want to sign Vlahovic because Pochettino previously stated that he doesn't want the team to have too many players. In my opinion, Juventus is merely attempting to force the transfer of Vlahovic onto Chelsea because the Blues have always struggled to find a striker. Although it would be a great transfer for Chelsea, the club might find it impossible to deploy all of them, which could lead to a financial loss.
I think the final transfer decision of Harry Kane future speculation will be made this week. That is if tottenham rejects the last offer it means harry kane will stay at tottenham next season until his contract expires. So, if we look at the offer from Bayern Munich, of course it has exceeded what Tottenham wanted because Tottenham wanted €100 million, but Bayern Munich sent a final bid of €120 million to be able to convince Tottenham to accept their offer.
Tottenham has rejected this offer because they want something different instead. Harry has already provided them with more service than is appropriate, so why do they want to prevent him from leaving? What else do they need from him, and why would they want to pass up the opportunity to profit from such a significant sale, especially when they are fully aware that his contract will expire in 11 months and that he will become a free agent if he doesn't sign a new one before then? Harry Kane has already decided to leave the team in order to win titles before he retires. It doesn't sound good to hear that a player of his calibre didn't win any trophies throughout his career, and it is the correct thing to do because he is getting older.
In terms of his age, I think Bayern Munich can still count on him for the next 4 seasons. So the problem of high prices is not an obstacle for Bayern Munich because they have a fairly strong finances. So how will Levy react after Bayern Munich sends this last bid. Does he not see an opportunity to take big profits or will he be willing to lose big money if Harry Kane leaves on a free transfer next season.
Harry Kane is getting older, but the fact that players are extending the amount of time they play before retiring shows he can continue to play professionally for up to 5 more seasons, especially because he will be playing in a league with less competition, where his new side will likely comfortably dominate. Football players now regularly play for 35 to 37 years before retiring, and this is more or less the current norm. If Harry Kane's move is successful, it will be a win-win situation for all parties involved because Bayern received a good striker to take Lewandowski's place, Tottenham was able to make a respectable profit on the player's sale, and Kane will finally be able to win trophies in the future.
