The negotiations between Manchester City and Leipzig for Josko Gvardioll still ongoing although reported Gvardioll and Manchester City has verbal agreement and he was agree to left Leipzig and go to Manchester City but the transfer fee for this player has not yet reached an agreement that Manchester City first bid was 75 millions plus ads on has been rejected because Leipzig want not less than 100 millions but Manchester City hasn't give up yet so officially they will offering second bid
Guardiola was impress to Gvardioll performance especially when he was able to bringing Croatia to gets 3rd position on world cup so that's why he eyeing Gvardioll since few months ago and i think this transfer almost be certain especially Leipzig will not hold Gvardioll much longer so if the price is agreed, he can move and play in the Premier League and Leipzig will make a huge profit from this transfer because when they bought Gvardioll from Dinamo Zagreb, the price was only 20 million
We agree that Josko Gvardiol is a potential defender, especially at his young age. but with a very fantastic price tag, is it worth it to come to the Etihad Stadium. although, for City it is not a problem to bring in Gvardiol with a price tag of £ 100 million. after all, City have no problems with the defensive players they have. At this point, I don't see that Pep really needs the services of Josko Gvardiol. however, the purchase of Josko Gvardiol is a very viable option and he is a future option in the event of a move to the Etihad Stadium.
Referring to Romano's tweet, Leipzig rejected a verbal approach for €75m + add-on. as previously rumored, Leipizig has set a price tag of at least €100 million for Gvardiol. a very fantastic price for a player in a CB position, if in the end the two teams have an agreement with the desired price beforehand.
But I'm pretty sure Manchester City will push the price lower than the €100 million that Leipzig want. we'll see, whether City will slowly withdraw or they will make a new offer.
