I understand very well why Ten Hag didn't keep De Gea. because, De Gea is not the type of goalkeeper the coach wants. that's why Andre Onana is United's target to replace De Gea. ideally, Ten Hag wants to implement his system by building up attacks starting at the goalkeeper. after all, Onana had played with Ajax. so, Ten Hag knows this player very well. now the problem is, how United will bring him to Old Trafford. if the price tag for Inter is too high, United will be in a lot of trouble. after all, as Romano quotes. that no official bid has been made by Manchester United, but communications remain between the two clubs regarding Onana's agreement. so, let's wait.
Andre Onana has impressive performance last season with Inter Milan and success managed his team lead until final stage in Champion League, its not doubt about Andre Onana performance but Manchester United seems difficult reach agreement deal with transfer fee offer by Inter Milan. Due De Gea contract expiry on July 1, right now United's goals keeper have empty and as soon possible to reach deal if want sign Andre Onana or accept with De Gea clause without cut off his salary for contract extending.

Dilemma for Manchester United, deal with transfer fee offering by Inter Milan or has option for extending De Gea contract but need to reach deal soon because potential for De Gea leaving Manchester United as free agent for joining with other team.
Now 60 million for such a goalkeeper is practically a free purchase considering the prices in today's market.  The prices of players are crazy and when it seems easier to extend the contract or raise the salary by a couple of million for your player, the club suddenly takes and buys players for tens of millions.

The situation with De Gea is about the same, because for 12 years he kept the highest level of play, even when the team played badly and even if Manchester wants to buy a young goalkeeper, a player like De Gea can become a substitute, even with a better contract, he deserves. But apparently it's easier for the club to let De Hea go and try their luck with the purchase of Onana for 60 million.

It isn't the same thing with Mbappe's situation. Ronaldo and Benzema have ended up with Saudi Arabian teams because they are very old now. They just wanted to have the final years of their careers by making tons of money for themselves to secure the future of their families. If those teams didn't pay insane amounts of money to them we wouldn't have seen any stars like these going there.

But when it comes to Mbappe he is a very young player now. He is one of the best players in the world right now. He would prefer to be a part of a winner team first of all. But still money is a very important factor for him of course. PSG aren't successful in the Champions League but they offered an unbelievable kind of contract to him.

I don't know Arsenal can or would like to spend hundreds of million euros to make a signing like this in the first place. Even if they do Mbappe wouldn't still choose Arsenal as long as Real Madrid make the same offer.
I agree that it is not the same thing, but I wouldn't be comfortable enough to say "never", I would say it would not be impossible but yes it is unlikely that part is true. I am expecting him to play in a different club one way or another but I am not expecting him to have something that is in the premier league.

Even though there are a lot of rumors of him being in premier league or have a lot of interest from clubs there, I still think that he will either stay at PSG (which looks more and more likely everyday) or he will leave for Madrid, those are the two only options in my mind. But that is odds, the odds are he will be in either of those clubs, but it doesn't make any other team impossible, it just makes it unlikely and would not say "never" in that sense.

Germany forward Kai Havertz, 24, has become Arsenal's highest-paid player on £17m a year after joining from London rivals Chelsea. Will Havertz justify such a high salary?

Then, Havertz had also been signed by Chelsea in 2020 as a potential "star" but he never delivered the quality of play that was expected. Could it be different at Arsenal?

The truth is Havertz was, for some reason very hidden from me, a player monitored by Arsenal from a very early age. Indeed he was a promising player from the youth ranks and many today call him a "phenomenon" but although I believe he is indeed a good player, I think Chelsea and Arsenal were wrong to spend so much money on him, that could be better used in another way.

Anyway... this was a signing that was already "loyal" for a long time, now we can only hope that Havertz actually shows results in his new home.

Are things getting out of hands with the way the Saudi side are recruiting players from all parts of Europe, I feel with time we won't be getting enough super stars in the UCL, UEL even the conference league and to top it all, in all domestic leagues. Last time this kind of thing happened was China league now we're seeing Saudi league trying to improve their league by getting the likes of Ronaldo and some other footballers, you name them.
Won't be surprised if Fabrizio announce that Mbappe has decided to join on of the clubs @ Saudi and negotiations are on going. This is the busiest transfer window so far, players are coming and going out.

Germany forward Kai Havertz, 24, has become Arsenal's highest-paid player on £17m a year after joining from London rivals Chelsea. Will Havertz justify such a high salary?

Large salary differences between players often cause unrest within the team. Football players who play with a lower salary experience a loss of motivation. It also creates a perception of financial injustice for anyone looking from the outside. I believe there should be an upper limit for all teams and all players, not just for Kai Havertz. Because the financial imbalances of the clubs occur because there are no such limits. As a result, such thoughts will put pressure on Kai Havertz in my opinion. Therefore, Kai Havertz may underperform his potential this season. I think such situations create more negative effects than positive effects.
I was a little surprised when I heard this news because for me Kai Havertz is not a player who has a big name in a football club but Arsenal are able to provide a bigger salary than the old players who existed before Kai Havertz joined Arsenal.
Of course this will cause anxiety to every player who feels it is unfair, but if Kai Havertz can provide a good performance at Arsenal, I think all players can understand that the salary given is commensurate with his performance.
Let's see if Arsenal are serious about the news and we'll see if Kai Havertz can put in a good performance for Arsenal.

It is common knowledge that the difference in salaries received by players in each squad, previously there were several other players who received high fees at their club before Kai Havertz status became the highest paid player at Arsenal. This situation will encourage other players to contribute better to the team in order to be offered a salary increase when their contract is extended. A domino effect will occur for Kai Havertz, there will be more demands on his shoulders with the salary he receives. He must prove his quality so that Arsenal will not spend large sums of money in vain to pay for his services.

Of course Arsenal have high hopes for him, this time Arsenal are trying to make a big bet on Kai Havertz, they hope that his arrival can provide great benefits for the team. Arteta will certainly support Kai Havertz to become one of the important players in his squad, but if other players are not friendly with the salary Kai Havertz receives it will cause new problems in the Arsenal squad.

Saudi Arabia league will soon be as competitive as Bundesliga or Ligue 1 if they continue recruiting players that way. They started with Cristiano Ronaldo and every day you hear about new name coming to play there. Mendy, De Gea, Neves, Koulibaly, Firmino, Kante, Niguez, fofana...are names that joined or will join Saudi Arabia league!
Right now there's no chance that Saudi Pro League would be as competitive as any of the top leagues in Europe. Quite rightly they are alluring players from Europe, but most of them are either old and past their peak, or they aren't just good enough players, mind you that the Saudi Pro league is yet to allure a world class player that is in his prime.

Having said that, remember that what the Saudi's are trying to do right now is somewhat similar to what the Chinese Super league did a couple of years ago, but we all saw how it ended, i wouldn't rule it out to end the same way for the Saudi's.
It will still be different between the Suadi Professional League and other European leagues, however competitive the European league will be, it will outperform it in football.
It is true that the players are already at the peak of their careers, so they will receive offers from the SPL. This is still very reasonable if there are many players who move to this league.

We'll see if the Saudi Professional League will suffer the same fate as the Chinese Super League or will they last a long time and spend a lot of money?
What is interesting is that SPL clubs never stop bringing in European players.

New news Bernardo Silva has accepted an offer from Al Hilal with a salary that will receive him €930,000/week.

No doubt the Saudi Arabia pro league is not as competitive as the  European league yet, but as day go by, there are indications that they really wants to improve, by bring in good stars and coaches that will help to build the league to be as competitive as the European league. By next season, the league will gain more tv right to show it national wide. once its been show on some international sport stations, be rest assured that the league will be as competitive as European leagues.

Just as Ronaldo Prophesied that in the next five years, the Saudi Arabia will be in top five league in the world, with look of things, it will not be up to five years, things are changing so fast. it might take them just three years. to be top five league in the world. players are now considering the league offers than other European clubs. by the end of the Transfer window, they will have a high numbers of Europe star players in he league.

The great profit doesn't get them very far. As ajiz138 pointed out correctly, it will not be easy for Inter Milan to find a goalkeeper of the same class.

Goalkeepers in general are hard to be found when they really want one who belongs to the top 10 or even top 5 in the world. I would say that even a top 10 goalkeeper is not available right now and if one was available, it would cost more than 50 million. I think it started with Alisson Becker that transfer fees for goalkeepers also went up and are now closer to 100 million than they are to 50 million.

But if Inter Milans wants to attack again in all competitions they have no choice but to find a goalkeeper of the same level.

True it is hard to find but they are still goalkeepers at a good level that hasn't been in much targeted yet by the clubs like Livakovic. Take the situation of Mendy until he was approached by Saudi club. Mendy was bought below 20m Euro and Livakovic also is having interest but none at the level of Inter with around 7m Euro bid. Yes, it is bit hard to find but if they have good scouts then I think they really can find themselves a good buy. I hardly see much competition between the clubs when it comes to buying a goalkeeper as compared to players at other positions.

It is a bit different for goalkeepers because it is possible more often that a good goalkeeper goes undetected for a while and more focused scouting is required. For a striker you can just have a look at how many goals he scored even at a younger age. Not that this is the only statistic that's important here, but judging a goalkeeper with potential is a bit more difficult than judging a striker. The younger the player, the more knowledge and intuition a scout needs. There are good goalkeepers out there but it is also one of those transfers that come with more risk whether the goalkeeper was the best choice or not.

It's okay to have wild dreams, but Kylian Mbappe will never play for Arsenal.
And if Kylian Mbappe wants to leave Paris Saint Germans, he should make his own decisions not to follow the role.of his mentor, yes it would have been a super dream to play for the Los Blancos but he rejected.

It's either he moves to Manchester United or Liverpool, they need such a big player in the club. More importantly, Manchester United needs a player like Kylian Mbappe in that squad.  Kylian Mbappe is only linked to Arsenal because they qualified for the Champions League the rest are completely speculations.
An unlikely scenario and it would be impossible for Arsenal to make a high bid for Kylian Mbappe, right now Arteta is more focused on building a team with some more affordable players and Kylian Mbappe is too high for Arsenal. If Kylian Mbappe leaves PSG then I think Real Madrid is a club that will be able to accommodate him and so far Real Madrid have also been linked with Kylian Mbappe and they are looking for a way to bring the player to the Santiago Bernabeu.

It's not just Arsenal who have been linked with Kylian Mbappe, Manchester United, Liverpool and Real Madrid are also heavily rumored. But if you look at the transfer market and Manchester United's movement which is so slow, then the biggest chance is only Real Madrid who are better prepared to bring in Kylian Mbappe. Liverpool do not seem so serious about approaching the French striker because they are also considering the price.

I agree with your assumptions, but if they never try then surely the Arab Pro League will remain stagnant or maybe drop lower than other countries' leagues. The scenario is the same, of course China and Saudi are trying to improve both in terms of business and increasing the quality of competition, but the result depends on management and how the team there adjusts.

Without a large income, this step will stop because no investor wants to continue to lose money every year. I can't say anything about the future of the Arab Pro League, but so far they have been brave enough to tell the world they want to develop.

It's officially confirmed by romano if Szoboszlai has signed a contract with liverpool. Who do you think gonna be the next player hunt by liverpool? Mbappe? maybe yes maybe no.
Let's wait for the next week. We may see another surprise from liverpool asap.
Liverpool is seriously trying to strengthen its squad for upcoming season. The club has been facing horrible result last season. It seems like jurgen wants tp build liverpool even deeper.

May we see mbappe on liverpool next season?
It's very interesting to wait for it.

Welcome Szoboszlai

We lost Bellingham to Madrid but Klopp still has the job of strengthening his squad ahead of next season which is just a month away. Midfield was one of the areas that our team suffered last season, especially in times when Thiago was out injured and Keita was always out.  Szobos was certainly a surprise for me but I'm happy with the signing. After getting Mac Allister and now Szobas, I'm not sure we'd have enough budget to fit Mbappe but who knows? In football, the impossible is nothing. We have some midfield firepower now but I reckon we might see one more or possibly two signing for Liverpool.

I believe this is rather an interesting transfer. He's a good player, but he doesn't have the intelligence, field vision and technique like de bruyne. He is not bad, only if the comparison is bruyne, it would be very offensive to szoboszlai. He should both show his scorer side and make a serious contribution to his team in the physical fight in the midfield, I'm not sure if he can do this at the premier league level. Liverpool's front side is already scoring enough. Salah scores 25-30 goals in an average year, nunez went over 20 in his bad year. Gakpo, jota, diaz are all close to goals according to their regions. I think liverpool needed a man to play these players a little more. For example, Frenkie de Jong would be good for them.

Well, I agree with you, they continue to improve by recruiting top European players. Even though their average age is no longer young, the big names of these players have at least made the Saudi Arab League famous. For the initial stage their steps are right. And everyone needs time to prove it, with the presence of the names mentioned, it is possible that in the future they will recruit trainers who have the reputation and experience of champions.

With full support from the government to invest in football making their plans even easier. That way the image of the Saudi Arab League will be boosted for the better, at least it can compete with Ligue 1 or the Bundesliga. Automatically the presence of quality players and coaches in the Saudi Arabian League will make the League more complete and competitive.

There are definitely some rumors of Liverpool willing to spend 300 million to get Mbappe but I have never heard Liverpool spend any money that is remotely that much to any player ever again. I do not know if there is any truth in this at all, maybe there is and maybe it's just a fabricated lie, which I believe it is.

However, if that is somehow true, and magically they found that much money to spend on a single player, that is going to be one of the most unexpected transfers I have ever seen. First of all, nobody expects Liverpool to spend that much, that part is already weird enough, secondly they won't suddenly become the best team in the world or even on their league with this, whereas we expected Real to be like that. Lets see what happens, it's going to be interesting to follow.

After David De Gea left Manchester United on a free agent status, now Manchester United will certainly try to bring in Andre Onana from Inter. Now the goalkeeper position at Manchester United is indeed vacant and there is no replacement for the main goalkeeper position in the Red Devils squad. We know that Andre Onana's performances over the past season have been impressive for Inter and he has often made important saves in his matches.

I think Erik ten Hag knows very well about the quality that Andre Onana has during his time at Inter and makes him one of the most suitable targets for a replacement for David De Gea. Until now there has been no official offer from Manchester United for Andre Onana, but if I may speculate about the transfer fee, it is likely that he is around 40 million euros to 60 million euros.

Onana is a very agile goalkeeper, a goalkeeper who is brave enough to secure the ball from the defensive area. Onana is a typical sweeper-keeper, namely a goalkeeper who doesn't hesitate to get out of the penalty box and tackle opponents who have possession of the ball. This goalkeeper also has quite high handling and reflex abilities.
unfortunately, IMO, Onana has a weakness for aerial balls and not like De Gea. De Gea is a very capable goalkeeper, there is no doubt how he keeps United's goals. unfortunately, his performance has not been very good this season, especially in crucial matches.

No one can doubt that Mbappe is a good player and he'd improve the squad of the Gunners but I don't think Arsenal needs such a player RN. He's got a self-centered mentality and I doubt he'd be able to fit in the team. What Arsenal needs is not just any kind of forward, but one who would be willing to share chances when he's not in a position to score, not a childish player who stops putting effort the moment he does not see the ball.
Its not that Mbappe would improve Arsenal, but he would improve just about any team in the world (except maybe Man City but I am pretty sure that Pep would fit him somehow). Having said that, there's literally 0 chance of him joining Arsenal as it would go against everything they do as a club and the most realistic scenario is that he ends in Real, either this season or the next (more likely)

In other news, I still can't believe that it looks like Brozovic is going to Saudi Arabia in the end, mainly because it might have a big impact on our (Croatian) national team as level of play in Saudi league is much lower and I am afraid that will affect his performace for national team. Too bad that Barcelona can't afford him at the moment...
