Chelsea are in a position to spend again under Todd Boehly as they are set to raise around £200m ($253m) from sales – with the likes of Kalidou Koulibaly, Kai Havertz and Mason Mount moving on. Standard Sport claims that some of those funds will be invested in Caicedo.
Source: Goal

Chelsea has been a lot of its players. It was able raising a lot of money. Chelsea is now starting to make its move for caicedo. It has been reported if chelsea is ready to send bid for caidcedo while moudou onana has become a secondary option for chelsea if brighton is not willing to let caideo leave from the club. Brighton gives caicedo very expensive release clause but chelsea has so much money right now.

Chelsea really needs a replacement for kante and kovacic. Caicedo has become one of the most potential player to replace kante. Caicedo has almost the same playstyle as kante. I hope chelsea will get him asap.

Caicedo might just get his best game when at Chelsea. he would fit in the midfield position at Chelsea. but there are rumors regarding the price of Caicedo which was raised by the club. is it possible to cut interest from Chelsea to sign him. because it is also reported that United have withdrawn from hunting for Caicedo's signature. or maybe this is just an excuse for Brighton to keep him in the team.
Chelsea is seeing him as kante's replacement. He has been showing amazing performance last season with brighton. Manchester united might target him before the club was getting mount. Since MU has been securing mount from chelsea and manchester united unwilling to take caicedo as a target again as its mission already completed to secure mount's signature from chelsea. The chance for chelsea to get caicedo is very big.
Onana from everton becomes alternative option once chelsea failed to secure caicedo. Brighton wanna let caicedo goes to the chelsea as long as caicedo will be bought with very expensive price.
Chelsea is now ready as it has been holding more than 200 millions pounds on its hand.

Caicedo does not have a release clause in his contract, so it's a difficult deal for Chelsea because Brighton can charge whatever they want for him, but with Rice going to Arsenal and Manutd no longer pushing for the deal, it's now Chelsea or nobody, so Brighton would likely lower their initial €90m asking price. According to various sources, he has already agreed to personal terms with Chelsea. The player side is already secured

Many Manchester United supporters are not excited about this deal because they feel Mason Mount does not fit in the calibre of players they want to see joining the club this summer. Mount is a good player and will be able to contribute his best to the team. He is not new to the league and shouldn’t face much difficulty adapting to Manchester United.
I believe Ten Hag has a point from picking Mason Mount from Chelsea. He needs him and he will contribute for the team if not in the beginning then at a later stage.
I think Mount will face some difficulties adapting with the team and its style but he has the advantage of knowing well the league and how things going on.
For the supporters, they might change mind early if they see him improving and helping the team.

Mount is a decent player but I really don't see how he fits in their team. They need central midfielders, they have way too many players that play attacking midfield or on the flanks.

I'm glad that Liverpool dodged the bullet here - because the same thing applies to us as well. Mount is good, but where would he play?

I really like that we're closing in on a deal for Szoboszlai though. That guy can be a top class player, and 60 mil euros sounds like a fair price.

Juan Cuadrado is mentioned together with Fenerbahçe in the Turkish press. He is 35 years old. But according to transfermaket data, he played in 47 games in total last season. This is really good statistic. If he comes to the Turkish League, he will play easier matches and continue to make better statistics. I think the possibility of transferring to Fenerbahçe may be a good option for him. On the other hand, it is written in the Turkish press that Lazio is also interested in him. If Juan Cuadrado chooses the Turkish League, he will be a player that makes a difference for Fenerbahçe. Since I am a Galatasaray fan, I would like him to stay in Italy. Cheesy

Yup, he was in good shape overall, the problem is his age.
He lost his 1st step, and it was the best quality of him.

He can't burn the opponent anymore in with the 1st control, but overall he is still a good player.

He must be really worth the amount for Liverpool to have agreed to pay that much for him during this time when Liverpool are doing so much to cut expenses and manage money. It will be very good if as a player, he is able to fit in really quickly and not struggle to find a place in the team and play to full potential like the way Gakpo and Darwin Nunez struggled to fit in. Liverpool were able to survive last season and still managed to qualify for win European competition, this season will be a season where they try to win that competition and also qualify for the Champions League next season while they still contest to win the Premier League. They are a team that can do it, they have the players and the coach.

When it comes to summer targets, or player signings. Liverpool do not waste time at all. What liverpool does is match your offer; you accept or decline; and they move on; i do not think Liverpool bid 2 times for a plyer. it is a strategy that has always worked. For Vam Dijk, for Allison, even Salah; and recently for Gakpo and Nunez.

Gakpo and Nunez has not been a bad signing, they have good numbers and will do better in the coming season. Smart deal for Liverpool, paying Szoboszlai release clause and moving on to the next summer target.

Szoboslai is an amazing signing for Liverpool. One of the best transfers for them this seasons and this will help them a lot for attacking the title. Nunez for me was terrible signing. He was really good in Benfica but in Liverpool he is really bad and any other striker would have done a lot better then him.

Tottenham has been a very disappointing team for many seasons now without being able to win anything. The have always had good players, but somehow they always perform badly. We expect the new coach to change all that and hopefully he will know exactly where to use all the players he will keep in the club and the new ones that have just joined them like Maddison.
They can't win any trophy because their squad isn't competitive enough. Tottenham has good strikers but they have no top midfielders and defenders. They are hard to maintain good performance without quality players in each line. They must have good players in the midfield and defense lines as well. Signing Maddison may increase the quality of their midfield line, but they have no strong defenders. They also have no strong GK, they must sign top GK if they want to strengthen their defense.

Tottenham have completed the signing of a new goal keeper from Empoli, Guglielmo Vicario for a fee between £16m to £17.1million.
I'm not familiar with this GK. I think Guglielmo Vicario is just for an alternative GK, not for the main GK.

From business end of things, I think it will turn out to be very good for Inter if you ask me. At worst, they will have to search for a new goalkeeper but they will really make a great profit out of Onana sale if you ask me. Yes, they will lose a very strong goalkeeper but guess maybe they have someone already in mind to replace Onana in the squad.
It is a profitable business from free agents to be able to sell 50/55 million if this scenario occurs, while Inter Milan can buy a goalkeeper at a lower price but of course you are right it will not be easy for Inter to find a goalkeeper of Onana's class anymore because already have extraordinary abilities.

I think Inter Milan is currently considering it, if for example Inter is ready to let go then the negotiations from Manchester United won't take long because Erik Ten Hag still wants goalkeeper Onana to be included in their project plans with Manchester United.

The great profit doesn't get them very far. As ajiz138 pointed out correctly, it will not be easy for Inter Milan to find a goalkeeper of the same class.

Goalkeepers in general are hard to be found when they really want one who belongs to the top 10 or even top 5 in the world. I would say that even a top 10 goalkeeper is not available right now and if one was available, it would cost more than 50 million. I think it started with Alisson Becker that transfer fees for goalkeepers also went up and are now closer to 100 million than they are to 50 million.

But if Inter Milans wants to attack again in all competitions they have no choice but to find a goalkeeper of the same level.

Dominik Szoboszlai is a RB who has very good abilities, besides being able to play very well in defense, he can also be relied on when carrying out attacks. Statistics he says so, for the position he occupies, creating 6 goals is a very good achievement and he has consistently done that in the last few seasons. I think this will help Liverpool in rebuilding something that wasn't seen for them last season.

Players who occupy a position like Dominik Szoboszlai who have the ability to defend and attack equally well are rare to find, and that is the current figure of Dominik Szoboszlai. Liverpool have made very good strides if they managed to bring in Dominik Szoboszlai this season.

The current reality of Liverpool,  I am sure the club will be willing to send any amount just to get the best players signed to the club against the 2023-2024 season,  Liverpool Dominick is a young talented player that will bring a lot of positivity to the table for Liverpool in this season,  and if possible for Liverpool to also buy more players in the current transfer market to set them on the part where their ride in the last two seasons where Liverpool was among to top 3 clubs in both the premier leagues and the champion league respectively.

It seems he is at the end of his career in the top teams or at least in European teams, He joined Juventus years ago from Chelsea and he earn achievements there, but at he is 35y old right now and for any player playing at this age for top teams is not normal. I'm sure Alegri is seeking for alternatives from the young players he got.
Also according to transfermarkt, there are not any offers for Cuadrado yet.

Now its next step Andre Onana from Inter   [1] . It will depend a lot on De Gea's decision but I really like what United are targeting in this transfer market. It would be important to see if they will join Bayern in Harry Kane's race as ten Haag also wants the England striker in his squad. With Spurs also now listening to offers now for Kane, if United meets what Spurs are asking- 100m Euro then it will really put United as a tough contender for the PL next season.

Considering how much they have spent on Sancho (85m Euro) and Antony (95m Euro), this should be easy in my opinion for United if they don't drag this negotiating fee for long.

I have been asking myself why Inter Milan will want to give such a talent away after just a year with them. Onana joined them as a free agent and has been spectacular, he is a good goalkeeper and I think they need him, giving him away seems like a really bad idea in my opinion. Nevertheless it is up the the club to decide what they want to do, it’s not like my opinion counts anyway but Manchester United have not been clear with their plans for De Gea and until they decide on the way forward for both parties, I don’t think the deal can push forward.

I would say a very quick and very discreet move from Liverpool in transfer market to make this signing. No wasting time negotiating, triggered the clause and confirmed deal. Seems like Carvalho negotiations kinda worked like a cover-up for this major transfer, no?

A very good winger with good passing and vision and can really create some good attacking plays. I was actually hoping for midfield signings from Liverpool but guess it works out too.

When Liverpool started showing interest in Szoboszlai, I knew Liverpool were going to trigger Szoboszlai's £60million release clause. Just so you know Szoboszlai is an attacking midfielder and not a Right back, and he has been tracked by a number of top European clubs, but it has always been likely he would end up in the Premier League. He fits Liverpool fast attacking play and he would be a good addition for the team.

Szoboszlai is of course a good player, but I don't think he's a footballer who will be able to compete in the Premier League. I'm excited, maybe I'm underestimating him, but Liverpool probably won't be happy with his performance, especially when you compare the old team with Firminio, Mane and Salah in top form with him.

Well, it is not like they are giving Onana away for free, he is going to be sold for a good amount, and the club prolly needs the money more than they need the player, it will also be a good deal for the Cameroonian and a great opportunity for him to begin a new challenge in England and with a great club like Manchester United.

The Cameroonian will be an excellent fit and a suitable substitute for De Gea. I don't follow his ball all that much, but his stats as a goalie in the Champions League final versus Manchester City were incredibly excellent and outstanding. Manchester United should be prepared to pay a relatively high price for such a talented goalkeeper if they want him by next season.

Having said that, according to reliable sources talks between Manchester United and de Gea isn't progressing well, he is going to be a free agent at the end of the day tomorrow, thus i don't think de Gea will remain in United, it does not look like the club are keen on keeping him.

I'm not sure what happened between the club and De Gea, but I don't see why they'd keep him for another season. He was a great keeper throughout his career and did well for the club when he was at his best. However, he is currently underperforming, and the team requires a new goalie as quickly as possible to replace him.

It goes on. Chelsea FC have sold their next player. This time it is a player from their own youth, he was at the club since 2004 and in the last few years he was loaned to two other clubs. Now he is going to Italy to AC Milan. At the age of 27, he will be able to play 3-5 more good years of football. For Milan, this was the first transfer this season that cost a transfer fee.
Do you mean this Odoi? He's actually a winger who was thrown out of Chelsea.
Many clubs are trying to recruit this player but indeed Chelsea continues to maintain this young player but is very rarely given minutes to play.
At the moment, with Pochettino's condition that he really wants to rebuild the team, this possibility could also be easy for Milan but they don't know whether Chelsea plans to retain this player who is indeed one of Chelsea's best graduates or not.

On the other hand, Milan have also confirmed that they have signed Chelsea midfielder Ruben Loftus-Cheek for 16 million and have been offered a long-term contract until 2027.
