Hopefully Kane can teach Tottenham a lesson by showing no desire to sign a new contract and be able to leave for free next summer. His status as a free transfer player will make European clubs queue up to get him even though he will be 31 years old next season. This condition is very profitable for Kane because he can determine a club that can guarantee a trophy for him and a big loss for Tottenham for actions that do not have good intentions for Kane.
I have really started to not care about Kane's future at all. Because he doesn't make me even excited about his possible departure now. He doesn't make an effort to leave the team in the first place. He is just okay with staying here until the end of his contract now. Just think about it. You are one of the best strikers in the world but you are okay with getting stuck at an unsuccessful team like Tottenham.
It is really hard to understand for me. Because if I were in his shoes I would have declared my intention to leave already. This would have eased things about my departure. But with what Kane is doing now I don't see him having a good future with another team.
Even if he becomes free agent next summer he is going to get much older and who knows how many more years he would play before retirement.
