At least we hope the best this time for Maddison because he is a great talent from England and it would be a shame if he doesn't feature for a team in the premier league. Maybe the only thing Maddison didn't deserve was to join Spurs, maybe if there were other options I think he could join Arsenal or Manchester united who have the capability in the EPL since last season.

But yes, now Maddison's future is quite good even though he is in an unstable team like Spurs and it looks like we will still be waiting to see how the new Spurs coach will bring this team back to peak performance or not. But what's certain is that as long as I can return to the top 4 I think that's good enough even though I haven't been able to win a title.
Maddison has actually been rumored to have left for a long time, Leicester, who originally wanted to keep Maddison, finally relented and these rumors have only really become a reality at this time after Leicester failed to survive in the top division of the Premier League. I heard a lot of talk saying that Spurs are a worthy team for his future, I don't think Spurs are too bad because they are above Leicester and in comparison they are much better than Leicester who have been relegated. I think if he had other options, obviously he would choose the best EPL team that has clear goals and has the chance to win some trophies. But he didn't seem to have the chance to choose another option. On the other hand, I can't imagine how he will be at Spurs, we know Spurs' performances have been unstable and far from consistent, but let's just see how he will progress with Spurs.

A player certainly wants to have a salary that is quite commensurate, at first I think it's 375K per week for De Gea but with more cuts I don't know how much he will get so De Gea has to rethink his future career.
Manchester United going for another goalkeeper means that they have already devalued him and I feel that he should leave the club as the best decision to take. There have always been discussions and questions about his future in the club and right now if he decides to remain while they bring in another new keeper, he would become a second choice goalkeeper and will not be happy at the bench after devoting so many years to the success of Manchester United. Saudia Arabia is interested in him, he should go there.

Will De Gea receive a salary with an offer from Manchester United? Will it be the right decision for him?
Suppose if there is an agreement with a salary cut while Manchester United still buys Andre Onana from Inter then De Gea will be shifted to become the main goalkeeper, but this is my scenario maybe if De Gea extends the contract then Onana's purchase will be cancelled.

From what I have seen today that Ten Hag wants Onana and whether he likes it or not for De Gea he can stay on the condition that he is still main guard and Onana is backup. That doesn't matter as long as De Gea wants to stay. Even if not, Erik Ten Hag will still insist on getting Onana in this season's transfer market.

Then regarding De Gea salary, it is indeed quite difficult that Erik Ten Hag's principle cannot be changed that there is no high player salary as long as he holds Man United.

James Maddison is joining Tottenham by July 1. The transfer fee paid for him has been recorded as 47 million euros. This is a really wonderful deal for Tottenham truthfully. Because Maddison's value is 60 million normally. But Leicester's relegating from the Premier League must have made things easier for Tottenham. In the end Maddison wouldn't like to play in the Championship while he is this much talented midfielder.  Smiley  I expect to see him shining really bright at Tottenham.

He is still 26 years old now and he has long years ahead of him to be more successful. I just doubt if Tottenham is the best place for that.  Grin  But maybe this transfer can pave the way for him to sign for more successful teams in the future.

We know James Maddison is a good player and he had a good performance when he was playing at Leicester City this season also he is still 26y old and a very young player who got a long way ahead to shine in the future.
However, I know Tottenham as an unstable team because of the thing that happened in the previous season to their coach Conte also Harry Kane is leaving this team.

Mount is a decent player but I really don't see how he fits in their team. They need central midfielders, they have way too many players that play attacking midfield or on the flanks.

I'm glad that Liverpool dodged the bullet here - because the same thing applies to us as well. Mount is good, but where would he play?

I really like that we're closing in on a deal for Szoboszlai though. That guy can be a top class player, and 60 mil euros sounds like a fair price.
Mason mount is an attacking midfielder and a versatile player thus he will be play more advance role on the pitch a role usually played by Christian Eriksen whose performance dropped towards the end of last season after coming back from an injury, honestly €60 mil is a decent price tag considering the huge sign on fee paid for English players, Erik ten Hag knew why  he signed Mount he a player who can hold possession as well create scoring chances for a striker his versatility on the field will enable the manager to switch formation in matches if situation warrant such a tactical change.

I think Man United will definitely still hope that De Gea will continue his career with them but what really becomes an obstacle is De Gea's huge salary which Man United might be reluctant to accept. So the final decision rests with De Gea himself.

If he still wants to stay then he has to accept the contract offered by Man United (which of course there will be a wage cut). But if he still cares about his income, it means he has to leave Man United.

DeGea has already extended his contract but I don't really know the plans of ETH, if United signs Andre Onana who is he going to use as his first choice goalkeeper. Onana is Inter Milan's first choice keeper, he's already doing well for himself on goal and will not like to come and play second fiddle to DeGea at United. I don't know if ETH is going to sign him and let him continue this season with Inter Milan because it will be disrespectful to bring him in and relegate DeGea to the bench.

I also didn't knew this but I am only posting this after checking- De Gea actually did agreed to extend but United backed out [1] with even lower salary which is yet to be signed by De Gea. It does seems that United priority is Andre Onana right now as first team goalkeeper instead of De Gea. Well there are some harsh choices that a manager has to make and it has to be made in order to lift the level of performance of a club. It's a tough one but if this doesn't works out then he will also have to face criticism from United fans also.

Erik Ten Hag is capable of converting player's who he's acquainted with, that's simply nothing to worry about. Manchester united need more players inother to suit in the top competition ahead, and they're done with signing backup player's for these crucial ones in the team. Mason Mount is an attacking midfielder, and who says he can change to a new position. For instance, take a proper look at Manchester city, ofcourse Pep Guardiola changes player's position on the pitch, he did that to Stones who was a defender, he's now included in the list of midfielders for city.

Mount is a good signing for Manchester's united, Ten Tag has admired him for long time, and he knows why he got him into the squad, lets give him the benefit of doubt. No doubt Manchester united has a good midfielders for rotation. They just have to buy one more defensive midfielder, since they have placed Fred on sale. And a good striker if possible. Then Manchester united is cool to compete for any title.

Arsenal was so crazy during summer transfer season. Havertz, rice, and the next is jurrien timber has been secured from ajax with big fees. It will be really disappointed if arsenal will be trophyless again next season.
Arsenal has been spending so much money during summer transfer season. I never saw this before from arsenal.
The came of kroenke has been changing everything in the club include the strategy used by the club. Arsenal is now avoiding to buy, develop and then sell the players.

I just saw a new face from arsenal as a club that is also spending a lot of money to fulfill ambition to win trophy next season.
The last season was very disappointed caused by arsenal become trophyless again.

Rather than investing all of their money in Lukaku, Intermilan is looking at alternative ways to use the money earned from selling Brozovic to acquire a new midfielder. Davide fratessi. There are so many things must be done by intermilan at this moment.
Its goal keeper will be going out and intermilan is now only having lautaro martinez as the remaining striker. Dzeko and lukaku have been leaving from the club. Dzeko left as free agent while at the same time lukaku's contract already ended.
Chelsea is not interesting to give lukaku as a loan for the intermilan. I think intermilan needs to reconsider lukaku again. Even though his performance was quite disappointed during the early season, he helped Intermilan go to the final..

https://twitter.com/FabrizioRomano/status/1674507099785555982

Romano confirmed that if intermilan in talks with fratessi from sassuolo.
For Lukaku still have place in Inter Milan but depend on his previous team Chelsea want to give option with loan or not, seems Inter Milan not interested to sign Lukaku as permanent but they want get loan option for one year later. Actually Inter Milan have sign Marcus Thuram with free transfer and space left by Edin Dzeko have filled by Thuram. I don't think with Lukaku has bad performance in this season with appearance success bring Inter lead to final stage in Champion League.

Reported from Fabrizio Rumano updated, Inter have sell Brozovic to Al Nassr with 23 million euro, seems enough fund for Inter sign any player for filling any space and need finding the same level can replace well position leave by Brozovic.

Done deal it is for Manchester United, as they have signed Mason Mount of Chelsea for £60million.
The 24year old is already included in Ten Hag's plan. To think of it, an attacking midfielder look like the missing piece to link Rashfords forward role.

The pace, of a team like Manchester United would be able to keep up with Manchester City and Arsenal when they meet up with Mason's addition. Let's hope he is able to link well with Casemiro in midfield.

My problem with Chelsea is that they often play their players out of position with different players playing together while having different ideas and I'm not sure of the last Chelsea coach that have a squad or starting xi, playing in their rightful position and having one specific goal or philosophy, Havertz playing as Centre forward was the height for me, and every Chelsea fans blames a fish for its inability to sing, Mason Mount is just another player that you really can't place a specific attribute to, unlike Havertz who is very technically good player imo, but as No 10, or just behind the striker, while I would rather play Mason Mount as a LM, because he might not be the best individual player, he's a very good team player and players like that really cannot be attributed to just one skillset, but are pivotal to a team's general chemistry. That's why most the new Chelsea signing haven't figure their shit out either, there need to be an adaptive game plan and general structure, not just having 11 players on the field leaving them to just go figure it out themselves.

Thomas Tuchel really did this a whole lot during his stay with the blues, at most to the player Kai Harvertz, playing him ASA false rather than behind those winger's and striker.
He's pacy but not pacy enough to serve as a winger not even as a pure number nine player. I'm sure Mikel Arteta would definitely use him behind the strikers.

Mason Mount also, he was effective but during games you expect him to show up he flops, too much of the criticisms though feommthe Chelsea fans!

David de Gea is the longest serving player at Man United and I'm not sure if MU will really let David de Gea leave MU. I heard that David de Gea wants to continue his career in the premier league and I also haven't seen any rumors that Man United really will release this goalkeeper to another team.
so this news is not certain and for me it will not happen because even though he is old, David de Gea has a lot of experience at the red devil and it is difficult to leave.
I feel they reduced his fee once again so they can either retain him as second choice or possibly discourage him from staying so they can have the services of Andre Onana.

Ever since he joined them he has won a lot of trophies with them and it's quite sad they treat him like a start up player.
Inter are asking for £50-55m and since Man UTD just have £100m to use to purchase players, I wonder if they will risk it or look elsewhere.

At the age of 32 years it seems that it will be difficult for De Gea to find a new club I mean the club at the same level as Manchester United
He was approaching retirement while there are more young goalkeepers who are ready to replace him it will be difficult for him to compete
I also heard that one of the teams from the Saudi League was interested in contracting De Gea but this rumors cannot be confirmed.
Manchester United will not wait any longer, having previously contacted Inter Milan goalkeeper Andre Onana because to uncertainty about David de Gea's future at the club. Saudi Arabia clubs have yet to make a bid for David de Gea, who is 32 years old and already an experienced player who requires backup since he may fail to dazzle in all games, and in other games he may make blunders that cost them a goal. David de Gea is one of the best goalkeepers in the world, and it would be unfortunate if he exits Old Trafford this summer. After all, the Spaniard has accomplished a lot with Manchester United.
Well, I think you're right, for him to win POTY for 3 straight years speaks how good he's done and was rewarded with huge pay. But, we have to move past records but performance now. He can stay as 2nd goalie if he wants to else Saudi calls. Then again, a modern and competitive goalkeeper is needed urgently and that does not depend on whether he stays or go. The vaccum is there in his presence.
Being a second goalkeeper is not a good option for De Gea, he is one of the best goalkeepers and at the moment his performance is still very good and in my opinion a mistake has been made by Manchester United if they don't keep him as the main goalkeeper, he is still 32 years old and for a goalkeeper It's not that old and also we can see De Gea's quality is still very good so far, it's a bit of a surprise for me when Manchester United are focused on finding a replacement.

And in my opinion, for De Gea it will not be difficult to find another team, there are very many other teams who still want him. If he wants to not be paid as high as he is currently with Manchester United, it is possible for him to be able to find a new team, even other top European teams.
No doubt De Gea is a good goalkeeper, but the change in terms is said to be down to Ten Hag reservations over De Gea's proficiency with the ball at his feet after watching him make a number of high-profile errors last season. Even if De Gea signs a new contract now, he knows that he will no longer be considered No 1 at United with Ten Hag determined to bring in someone who is better with his feet. So there’s no point to sit on the bench and wait for your game time. He has to find a new club but his wages would post a big treat to a lot of interested clubs.
